We got a crab po boy and the sampler entree. The po bo was absolutely amazing, small but really flavorful. The sampler has fish, popcorn shrimp, calamari and fries. The fish was really good and the other food was too. The service was just okay, I believe the waiter was like the owner so he was doing lots of other stuff but it was lacking. I'd go back though.

With our group was 9 people and he handled our orders like a champ. Everything came out tasting great and on point except for the scallops. It's not that I didn't like them but they seemed a little too salty for my taste but they weren't terrible and I still ate them. The catfish was good with great flavor but the fillets were really thin so you got more breading than fish it seemed. Tried a piece of their NY style cheesecake and it was really good and the slice was huge. Great value for the price of it. The cost of the meal was a little on the high end but that's to be expected with seafood boils so no real complaints there.Overall it was a good bday feast and I can't complain. The restaurant is pretty good size with plenty of parking. I will for sure be back.

Title: J's Crab n Wings - A Seafood Paradise!…read more (5 Stars) If you haven't made your way to J's Crab n Wings yet, are you even living? Honestly, I think I just had my taste buds elevated to another dimension, and I'm pretty sure I owe it all to this magical little spot! Let's start with the fried fish. Oh my goodness, it's so delish that I considered starting a fan club just for that crispy, golden goodness! It's like the fish swam straight from the ocean into a hot tub of flavor. I'm convinced there might be a secret fish whisperer in the back, because that fish is practically singing "Hallelujah" with every bite! Now, let's talk about the fries. These are not just any fries; they are cooked to perfection, like they've been training for a culinary Olympics. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they're the kind of fries that make you want to shout, "I'll never look at a potato the same way again!" Pair them with that seafood sauce, and you've got a heavenly experience that's basically a food hug. I might have actually shed a tear or two over how good it was. And then there are the daiquiris. Oh, the daiquiris! They're so delicious that I'm pretty sure they were created by a group of party-loving mermaids. I ordered one and then suddenly found myself in a daiquiri trance, where I was convinced the drink was sipping me instead of the other way around. I'm not sure how they do it, but I think there's magic in those cups! Let's not forget the endless variety of options on the menu. It's like a seafood wonderland! I felt like a kid in a candy store, except instead of candy, it was all the delicious seafood my heart could ever desire. I'm already plotting my next visit just to dive into the seafood boil. I don't know if I'll need a bib or a life jacket for that adventure, but I'm here for it! In conclusion, J's Crab n Wings is a culinary treasure that deserves all the stars in the universe. If you're looking for fried fish that makes your heart sing, fries that redefine perfection, and daiquiris that will have you questioning your life choices (in the best way), then look no further. I'm already dreaming of my next visit, and I can't wait to dive back into this seafood paradise!

Ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, and wings to try a few different things. My top recommendation is the chicken sandwich! It was big, juicy, and flavorful! Kinda felt like their take on the popular Popeyes chicken sandwich, but better cuz it's local, haha. Mon-Thurs they have a 2 for $7 special on the chicken sandwich. My mom had the burger and she liked it though, she requested mustard only and they added mayo to the sandwich. Still said it tasted great. The wings were whole wings and we got lemon pepper and they were good. Didn't try the desserts but they had jumbo cookies and cakes as offerings. Definitely would go back in the future.

I've had Juicy Seafood on Wheatland Road before, though, and the recipe here seemed to taste a little different. The restaurant was clean and the table was freshly prepared with new paper. Utensils were already available in the buckets on the table. The biggest issue was the service. It took about 15 minutes just to get water, and refills weren't offered. Our waiter was friendly when he came by, but the service was noticeably slow throughout the visit. It also took quite a while for the checks to come out. He did provide to-go containers at the end.
