After a long hiatus, I finally made my triumphant return to North, this time with my girlfriend, to relive the magic and, of course, put their food to the test. We went for the Tompkins Burger ($8.49) -- a classic setup with onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. No sauce included, but that's a choose-your-own-adventure situation at the condiment station. My girlfriend gave it a 7/10, and honestly, that feels right. It's a solid, no-nonsense burger that exceeded my size expectations (which is half the battle with late-night food). I also really love their the boneless wings. Specifically, the sweet chili and honey mustard flavors. Maybe I'm biased (I would eat chicken for every meal if society allowed it), but these wings slap. Flavorful, saucy, and the perfect balance of sweet and tangy -- 10/10 would recommend :) Beyond the hot food, Nasties is the ultimate convenience stop. Need snacks? Drinks? A pint of Cornell ice cream to emotionally support you through finals? They've got you covered.

"Flavorful...and what a crust!"…read more We recently enjoyed the Arrabiata (bottom), Margherita (top L) and Fresca (top R). Each is a generous size for one. All were great in their own way. The Fresca was our favorite, with fresh pesto vibing great with the arugula. The Marg was sweeter and vibrant. The Arrab may not be to everyone's taste: it's spicy and bitter (Italian parsley and capers), but again, fresh ingredients make it delicious. Others have commented on the crust. This is a more Sicilian, focaccia-like crust than it is a NY crust, which would be flat and crispy. You can tell Adelina's really pays attention to this foundational element because 1) it's airy, crispy and soft, while maintaining a slightly chewy texture; and 2) they have a manifesto about it on the menu. We'd gladly jump into more Adelina's next time we're at the Argo!

I usually get the margherita with vegan cheese (NOT Daiya cheese, which is amazing) and it's flavorful and a great size! Arguably one of the best vegan pizzas in Ithaca. Although it's been super hot in Ithaca, the outdoor seating is nice because it's semi-shaded and is open from later afternoon-evenings. There always seems to be plenty of tables available and it's just an overall pretty patio. The staff at Adelina's is super sweet and fast paced. It never takes super long for a pizza. Parking is either in a lot behind the cafe area building or on the street itself, and I've never had an issue finding a space. Hours are also fairly consistent (7am to 2pm on most days). I've stopped by multiple times during the week (vs on weekends) - usually around 11:30am-ish for lunch - and it's never been too crowded, though you can tell that the space is a town favorite. The space can get much busier on weekends, of course - though be advised that current hours have them closed on Sundays. In terms of food, there's a very nice variety of breakfast sandwiches and a couple lunch-esque options. Coffees, espressos, hot chocolate, Italian sodas, and both hot and cold teas are available on the menu. During my last visit, I ordered a Bee Sippin' a Latte drink and a classic BLT on an English muffin. They hit the spot... tasted great, and just the right portion sizes. TL;DR Love it, and will most definitely be back!

Their focaccias always have a great balance of flavor and have a heavenly soft texture. Pastries are lovely as well. Flaky, buttery, and fun flavors. If I had to pick - pistachio schnecken is my favorite! Also, if you happen to be in Ithaca on a Thursday - absolutely drop by as it's their sandwich day!
