A delightful escape from the outside world. Lone Wolf is wonderfully appointed and offers a fantastic selection, but what sets them apart is the staff. Regardless of if you are a seasoned expert or a curious first timer, David, Charles, John, and Colin could not be nicer. They go above and beyond to make your experience unrivaled from top to bottom. They naturally know the right touch -- there are times I'll browse the humidor on my own, and other times where they can read on my face that I am looking for a recommendation. I've been buying there for years -- sometimes for a casual afternoon in the lounge and other times picking up anywhere from 5-30 cigars for a special event. Their suggestions have always impressed the recipients; both new smokers with selections that ensure no one feels left out and those with decades of experience and a specific palette. The attitude towards fostering a welcoming community has made this one of my favorite places in Santa Monica. read more

This is a high quality lounge and without a doubt one of the nicest in LA. David the owner is attentive as well as his employees. He has full lines from padron, Davidoff and Fuente. It's a 50 dollar minimum to stay and smoke in the lounge. His prices are fair for LA. Parking is a bit of an issue, but it's LA so thats expected. Once you're inside the lounge it's great, large chairs, comfortable couches, espresso. A good stop for any cigar enthusiast. read more

Reluctantly, I confess that this is the best cigar lounge in Los Angeles, and probably one of the top lounges in the country. I say it reluctantly because I never want it to be so crowded and popular that I can't get in. That being said, its beautiful, warm and comfortable decor is only exceeded by topnotch customer service and a cigar selection that is the largest I've seen in the city. I wish I could give this place and Jason 6 stars. WOW WOW WOW! Last night I strolled in with a friend to check out their selection and lounge and absolutely blown away. Jason welcomed us & treated us like a host at a Michelin star restaurant or luxury hotel. He beams passion about cigars and hospitality and you can feel his energy and his knowledge. "Most" other cigar shops have seemingly disdainful employees that are short with clients. Jason explained the nuances of Cuban, Dominican, and Nicaraguan cigars and tied his explanation to their collection. He's not pushy and sincerely wants to match you up with your perfect cigar. I told him he needs a youtube channel if he doesn't have one already because he is a wealth of knowledge and is personality plus. The shop has beautiful wood and fine leather decor and the layout is great. Absolutely premier collection of cigars. Their lounge is top notch with beautiful furnishings, fine leather, and has the perfect sophisticated simple elegance for enjoying a fine cigar. I can't stop raving about Jason. You only meet so many people that beam this kind of passion for their (dare I say) "work". This type of hospitality can not be taught at hospitality school, it is the nature of the individual. I can't say enough good things about this place. Initially I felt the location was a bit far for me to become a member, but after the service I receive every time I come I must say I might start making the drive a bit more often. Membership is beginning to sound pretty good to me. Excellent selection of sticks, great prices and the friendliest/most knowledgeable staff as a whole that I've encountered at a cigar lounge. Quite possibly the greatest cigar lounge and store ever. I've been smoking since the 90s and I've traveled the world and smoked numerous cigars in numerous lounges. The lone wolf and sautters in London are my favorites. From the moment you enter LW, you are greeted by a knowledgeable person behind the desk. Many times you are greeted by David, aka the owner. Parking is plentiful as there is a free structure across the street, and there is street parking as well. The cases are filled with exquisite cigar accessories. From matches to lighters, cutters, humidors, etc., it's there! If they don't have it, they can usually get it. David has helped me source some vintage lighters as well. The humidor is always stocked and of course emits the perfect temperature and humidity. In fact the humidor is how you get to the private lounge. The lounge is everything you've ever imagined a cigar lounge should be! British racing green on the walls, beam ceilings, and of course rustic looking, over stuffed, brown leather sofas! Drove here from the Santa Monica location which apparently has no seating area despite Yelp photos of an ample lounge. After informing the management about this, we were welcomed into the "courtesy lounge" which consist of about 4 chairs and a wide open door facing Wilshire. The proper lounge is private. read more

I have to say, these guys move fast on making improvements. Space wise this is definitely the coolest lounge in Los Angeles. Now with all the improvements in ventilation, window treatments, air-conditioning and new food service, this lounge is truly a great space to relax and enjoy a cigar or two. Prices are very reasonable, as a matter of fact surprisingly so for a quality establishment like this. It's great to see an establishment strive to make improvements instead of resting on their success. I understand they are making more changes for the better as an ongoing effort to make this THE lounge in southern California. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they don't seem to push any particular cigar on me when I come in, just suggest a few in range of what I feel like smoking at the time. read more

It's like going to cigar heaven. Great selection and even if they don't have what you normally smoke they are great at recommending comparable selections that 9 times out of 10 are better. All the staff is awesome, but Robert is the king of cigars. The lounge is just amazing and the atmosphere makes the work day melt away. Bonus all of the members are friendly and fun to chat with.
