Most impressive was what that rather than simply proceeding with a more expensive multi-part replacement, the technician did additional research, came back with a better solution, and was able to repair the existing board. That eliminated the need for one of the expensive replacement parts, got the freezer working in hours instead of days, and cut the repair cost. The freezer is now working exactly as it should. I feel like it is harder than ever to find service providers who are true professionals that would do right by the customer over taking an easy way to charge more. It takes much more effort (not to mention integrity) to keep working on the problem and find a less expensive solution for the customer. ED has been truly professional in this way multiple times now. There were no missed calls, voicemails, or additional messages. No service was performed, and my time was wasted waiting for an appointment that never occurred. The whole process was straightforward, and I never felt like I was being hit with hidden fees or pressured into buying extras. A little later, I came back looking for a new pair of headphones. I had a budget in mind but wasn't sure what to get. One of the employees took the time to talk through a few different options with me, and we actually had a fun conversation about the pros and cons of each pair. I never felt like he was trying to sell me the most expensive option. Instead, he recommended headphones that customers seemed happiest with and that didn't get returned often.
