I would give a zero star if I could. I'm aware people usually only review when negative and now I…read moresee why. I experienced such rudeness and abrasiveness. I am only here for a month and my insurance has a contract with this facility. However upon entering the door they were very discouraging that I even start there. They wanted me to pay additional above my insurance allowances and were very rude in speaking down to me like I was stupid as if I didn't understand a word they were saying repeating themselves over and over about the charges. It's next to impossible to get any resolution. I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this facility in the leas Judy, thank you for your very kind and professional response. It is helpful to read your kindness extended after my initial experience. Shows great integrity and interest in your clients happiness.

I visited this facility a week ago today. As I entered and got to the front desk, I was ask about…read moremembership. Then they told me that I could not use their facility unless I had a note from my doctor because they require that for anyone over 40. Unfortunately they didn't tell me that when I called. I was only going to be in town for about a week. My insurance pays for the membership. I was very disappointed. I would not have been there if I was not fit to be there. My employers never required me to bring a note when I missed days from work! I just didn't feel welcome and it didn't feel right.

I've been going to this tru-fit for about a year now, and all in all, you get what you pay for. A…read morepretty cheap membership (about 15$ a month). And at the end of the day, it gets the job done if you need to work out. No frills. Now that being said this gym has terrible bathrooms (at least the men's bathroom since I'm a man). Like it smells like poo/mildew/B.O./Sweat all at the same time, and it's weirdly always humid in there? I don't even know, I try to spend as little time in the bathroom as possible. I'm pretty sure that's the place where diseases go to spread . The lockers are functional at the most. The floors are nasty so don't go walking around barefoot or in socks . Also, as of recent, I assume there isn't much of a maintenance crew to clean things, I mean it's always nasty in the bathrooms, but recently I have seen some effort to clean the lockerooms, but that being said, there has been a few times when I've been in there changing, and then like 3 female employees just waltz in the men's bathroom to clean. So I appreciate the effort to clean, but come on, like that's not cool. If you were to reverse the sex's there (men going into the woman's bathroom) that would fly like a lead brick. I'm usually not the type to run to yelp and complain but I feel like people just need to know what they're getting into. As far as the equipment goes, it's functional for the most part, no real complaints there. It's a bit old but it works. The front desk crew is spotty, sometimes you get super Awsome friendly guys or girls up front, and sometimes they are brain-dead and just stare at you. lol.

TERRIBLE customer service which can only be a reflection of poor management. There were about 6…read moreemployees at the front desk and no one to give us a tour? We stood around for about 15 minutes before they had us scan a QR code and then "take a look around ourselves".

I was forced to sign a 12 month contract before I was even offered a tour of the place. I signed up went to work out and was horrified by what I saw. This place is disgusting. The ceiling is literally falling in, in multiple places. It smells like mold mildew and has not been cleaned in probably ten years or more. The equipment was broke down. The staff was so unhelpful and tacky. Do Not Waste your time or your money with this trashy place!! There are so many better places in town that are 100x better all the way around. ITS VERY OBVIOUS that there are major issues ranging from structural, to plumbing and even exercise equipment that have clearly been left in those conditions for quite some time- certainly long before I came there. Why on earth would I want to give that another chance or even risk my health or safety in such an environment? I will be calling BBB and health department on this place the only thing Premier about it is the bad attitude from the manager. EDIT: luckily I've discovered I actually did NOT sign a contract so there shouldn't be any further issue, or contact from this company. Would I like my money back? Of course but maybe yall need it more than I do, fix your mess! Do better!!

Okay here is my take from an out of town perspective…read more If you are looking for out of tourneys this is probably one that you want to skip out on. Here's why, the courts 3-4 are so hot you feel like you're in a sauna. It's almost unbearable to be in the gym. Not sure how kids can play in the extreme heat. In addition to it being so hot, they make you pay to get into the gym. $5.00 to be hot? Yikes! So as far as competitive teams, the local parent said they never travel because area teams travel to them to play such as: Hobbs, Clovis, Dell City. Eh, don't think I'd want to drive back for those teams. We travel often and Vegas as been the best out of town tourney for us. More exposure and the top of top kids traveling to play ball with other elite kids. We won the tourney and were expecting to get at least a trophy. Nope, both teams got cheesy medals. Eh, it was just $160 to register but still, you'd think they'd do more at least for the winners of the tourneys. What could trophies really cost? Anyhow, I'm sure as a resident we'd enjoy this location for the amenities but for an out of town tourney, no way! Thanks Lubbock!
