Do yourself a favor and keep looking for another complex! You have been WARNED!…read moreI have lived in this complex for the past 2 years or so. My first year was fantastic. The complex itself was new, the management was great. The second year we got a new management team. They have been completely awful. If you care about your personal safety and the safety of others who may live with you, DO NOT LEASE HERE. This past year alone we have had many mail break ins (all packages were stolen. I genuinely do not get any packages delivered here anymore) the gates never close, the "camera" they have installed on the gates don't even record, l've personally experienced 2 break-ins (lost over thousands of dollars of personal belongings) from the homeless encampment that live down the road (the encampment is growing by day) where the complex refuses to do anything about it except tell you to call the police who also don't do anything. When mentioning the insurance that they MAKE you get, they let you know nothing is covered although previously they do tell you that it covers your personal belongings. I am genuinely itching to move out of this place, and thankfully I only have 2 months left of my lease. Do not be fooled by the other reviews, the tour you may receive from the agents, and any other fluff that you may get along the way. Safety is very important and unfortunately that is one thing that Wilder does not show care for. Walls are incredibly thin, and if you get stuck with a neighbor that is insanely loud (even during quiet hours the team will not open up a noise complaint unless they are physically there to hear the noise. The dog parks are dirty, you have to be careful walking around grass because there is dog poop EVERYWHERE. The tags they give you to put on the car to open gates rarely work, and you have to resort to the app to open gates if they are even working, most of the times they are wide open for anyone to come in. The one thing I will give credit where it is due is the maintenance team. They have always done a great job when it comes to my requests, and are the only reason this place is getting a 2 star review as opposed to 1.

Everyone was always welcoming to my cat, which meant so much to me. The community here is wonderful, and we were lucky to have such great neighbors! The location is also a huge plus, with a bus stop right outside the apartments that can take you downtown in about 15 minutes. It's so convenient! Overall, this has been a great place to call home, and I'm grateful for the positive experience we had living here. Thank you to Bonnie and the team for making it such a welcoming community!

I have lived at Perch for just two weeks in a 2x2 floor plan in Building 3 (first floor), and my…read moreexperience so far has been very disappointing given the cost of rent. Upon moving in, we immediately noticed several issues: the dryer was broken, the refrigerator's water dispenser and ice maker did not work, there was visible water damage in various areas, one bathroom door had significant scratches and damage, and both balconies were extremely dirty. Being on the first floor in a corner unit, our patio area floods and forms large puddles when it rains due to poor drainage. This has created additional problems with insects. Within our first week, my roommate and I had to kill multiple bugs -- including spiders, roaches, and silverfish -- some of which we even found on our beds. This has made living here extremely uncomfortable. Despite submitting maintenance requests, the bathroom drain in my unit still does not drain properly and appears not to have been cleaned thoroughly. On top of that, the water in the unit takes an unusually long time to get warm, which is inconvenient for daily use. The most frustrating part has been the dismissive attitude from maintenance. When voicing our concerns about the insect problem, we were told we should "be used to the bugs" since we are from Texas, and they could not identify where the insects were entering from. Comments like this, combined with unresolved issues, make us feel our concerns are not being taken seriously. Another challenge is the extremely limited parking on the property, which makes it difficult to find a spot near our building, especially during peak hours. For the rent we are paying, we expected a clean, functional apartment and respectful, timely service from staff. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience so far. I would strongly recommend future tenants ask detailed questions about unit conditions, pest control, water heating, parking availability, and maintenance responsiveness before signing a lease.
