The employee at the door looked to a coworker, who pointed at the clock. She visibly rolled her eyes, unlocked the door, and walked away without greeting me, no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy. At that point, I chose not to leave my items. It wasn't about the timing, it was the attitude. If your posted hours say you're open until a certain time, customers should not feel like an inconvenience for arriving within that window. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There's no reason to spend money where you're clearly not welcomed.
