Dustin and his crew did an amazing job on trimming my tree. His team trim the tree and took all the branches and cleaned the yard better than it was. Defiantly a fantastic job. Beware of this company, Christian was responsive initially when I contacted him about Christmas light installation, but after the initial visit for measurements it went downhill. He showed up with the wrong color lights (white instead of multi-color), I agreed to accept the white for the sake of not rescheduling. Installation day he forgot the extension cords to connect the tree lights to the home lights, not too big a deal as he came back that evening to complete it. The white lights on the trees did not match the house lights (warm vs bright white), after pointing this out we reached an agreement to swap the tree lights for multi-color lights. Christian no showed 3 times after this and stopped responding to calls and texts. He has not come back to remove the lights as part of the deal. The total lack of communication and professionalism is outright upsetting. Look elsewhere because integrity is completely absent. read more

Tis the season where I get pretty lazy with the lawn. Thankfully I had Dustin come out and help make my lawn look right just before Christmas. From the before and after pictures, I can really see the work, effort, and care that he put into it. It's even better in person. He was quick to reply and was very good with communicating everything he did. After our first meeting, he explained what he would do and I feel like he really delivered for the price he quoted me. I really appreciated him coming out and taking his time with the disaster he had to deal with. Will be using his services again. read more

Do NOT use Christian - he talks about his commitment to quality service - but, it's only a sales pitch. We paid for installation of Christmans lights (installation and removal). He didn't finish the initial job (leaving in the middle - after my wife had already paid him) and did not show up to remove the Christmas lights after the holiday season. I would NOT recommend using Christian Martinez with Lone Star Lawn and Handyman Services. I should have known better but I felt that giving him my business would be helping out a local company. I first messaged him Christian on Facebook about an ad for Christmas light installation. He came out and gave me a "quote" (should have gotten a quote in writing) based on his initial measurements to install, maintain and takedown lights. Our messages clearly state that he would maintain the lights while they were up and also taken them down after the Christmas season was over. He made it sound good and "gave" me a 20% discount since I found him on Facebook. When the lights were installed, he gave me the total and it was $150 more than the original "quote" since this was an exact measurement of the lights he used. Christian must have taken on too much work than he could handle. We rescheduled my installation a few times and I was very patient realizing that it was a busy time for him but nonetheless, it was poor professionalism on his part to continue to reschedule. After the installation date, a few of the lights went out, which was odd to me since they were brand new lights but he must have connected too many strands, I am not sure but there were 3 or 4 times, that a bulb or two went out, he was responsive on that end and came out the next day to fix but at one point, a whole section of lights went out and i messaged Christian to let him know that this had happened and that I needed it fixed before a weekend gathering I was having but after that text I did not hear back from him until after that gathering happened. He came out to fix a fuse but it was a week later. After that, there were a few more lights that went out and i didnt even bother to text him back since it was after Christmas and he would soon come out to taken them down. Or so i thought. After multiple attempts to get a date scheduled to take the lights down, he blocked me from messaging him an he never came out to remove the lights as part of the deal. The total lack of communication and professionalism! I would NOT recommend using Christian Martinez with Lone Star Lawn and Handyman Services with a 979-616 number. read more
