We hired Arellano Landscaping and worked directly with Eduardo to remove a concrete pad and install…read morea sub-base for a deck. He quoted us close to $4,000 for the job and promised it would be completed in 1.5 to 2 weeks. He assured us the surface would be flat, level, and properly graded away from the house. Instead, the project dragged on for over a month, filled with excuses and delays. Eduardo would often show up during the hottest part of the day, work for short periods, and repeatedly promise progress that never happened. He claimed the base would be strong enough to support an Intex pool -- that was completely untrue. The base began sinking, was uneven, and created pools of standing water. It was clear the area was never compacted or leveled correctly. To make things worse, Eduardo damaged our fence entrance, leaving a gap that now allows animals into our yard. When we called him to fix his mistakes, he would promise to come "tomorrow," but never showed up. That went on for weeks, and after countless calls and messages, he stopped answering altogether. In the end, he never finished the job, and we had to hire another company to fix his mess at our own expense. What was supposed to be a simple, affordable project turned into a costly and frustrating nightmare. Do not hire Arellano Landscaping or work with Eduardo. His poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for his clients will leave you with unfinished, substandard work and even more expenses down the line.

For this job, I wanted to improve our curb appeal by adding prettier stone borders around planters and changing out a tree in the front lawn. Luis helped me pick out stones and what tree would work best. D&G is extremely professional and offers all of the extra little technological touches (like email/text appointment reminders, clear quotes provided in a portal, follow up instructions on how to care for your new landscaping, etc.) that make your business transaction very smooth.
