He was able to utilize some of my existing plants/shrubs within the new landscape design. However, there was a scheduling conflict, but after further email/text message correspondence, another appointment was scheduled by the owner. VERY PLEASED WITH WORK!! Monroy Landscaping (Santiago was wonderful) assessed the photographs and video I sent for my overgrown backyard (I had been away for a few months) and provided a quote. They followed up with coming out to my property to complete the work requested as well as gave an on-premises assessment for add'l services. The initial service was quick, clean, efficient, and professional. Very appreciative of the work! The only reason I did not give a 5-Star rating is because I never received the follow up assessments for tree trimming, mulch for bushes, and sod nor a confirmation for follow-up bi-weekly services. In my phone conversation I was assured of a complete evaluation. When I didn't get the follow up quotes (it's been over a week now), I felt that that part feel through and didn't meet what was promised. Now, would I recommend MONROY LANDSCAPING?! Santiago came to our house on time last and did a good job for the tree services last Saturday. Price quoted was very reasonable for chopping off top portions of some tree roots above the lawn ground as well as trimming many branches on the tree per our request. He cleaned the lawn and picked up the trashes on his trailer before leaving. Both my wife and myself were very happy with his work. read more

After obtaining three bids, I chose Monroy again. Their bid was competitive and came quickly. They did not include a lot of detail in the estimate, but when I told them I wanted the detail included, they immediately added it. They Came out the next day to get a 50% deposit and the following day to do the work. Did the work exactly as requested and cleaned up after themselves well. Once again, this is a great company if you know exactly what you want done. I find them very easy to work with. read more

Was disappointed with their service. I requested installation of a drain on the side of my house. In the beginning I received a reasonable quote, and they seemed to be more professional then some other landscapers I encountered (they returned my emails and showed up for the quote when expected). However, I gave them 2 stars because they did not uphold the original quote, I was not informed up front that after the installation they would charge extra for repairing the grass and leveling the ground they tore up, and the workers left my gate very muddy (not just from the digging, but from opening and closing it with muddy hands). So while the drain is installed, they did not clean up and thus left the job unfinished. I will not hire them again, nor suggest them to anyone else. read more
