    Everyone there is great. It was my second time. They put you at ease when you are nervous. I will definitely go back when I have to.

    Front office is rude, not helpful and unfortunately that's when you first walk in. We will not go back.

I took a half day off on Friday morning to get my labs done, I arrived around 9:15 AM and they informed me Yolanda the phlebotomist was out sick. They sent me across the street to quest, diagnostics, a minor inconvenience but I figured oh well. Got to quest diagnostics checked in and they let me know the next appointment they had available was 3:00 PM. I had to get back to work by lunchtime. This time would not work. Dr. Joseph Cano is amazing but due to this, I will be finding another doctors office for my digestive needs. Considering due to my health issues I need an upper endoscopy every two years they've lost out on a lot of money because of this.

The overwhelming impression is that their priority is maximizing billing rather than providing accurate, ethical patient care. Even the office setting--located in a converted old Wendy's building--reflects a lack of professionalism. I was referred by my primary care physician for a colonoscopy at a five-year interval due to my documented high risk for colon cancer, based on both a personal history of polyps and family history. This office has my medical records clearly indicating that I qualify for high-risk surveillance. Despite this, they are refusing to bill the procedure correctly. Instead of coding it as "high-risk surveillance," which my insurance has explicitly confirmed would be covered at 100%, they are insisting on labeling it as a "routine colonoscopy" and demanding $800 upfront. What is especially concerning is that they acknowledge my history of polyps, yet still refuse to use the correct billing classification. This is not a gray area--it is a clear misrepresentation of the medical necessity of the procedure. Attempts to resolve this have been met with complete dysfunction. I have been repeatedly bounced between the Billing and Scheduling departments, each refusing to take responsibility and directing me back to the other. At no point has anyone taken ownership of correcting what is clearly a billing and coding error. I have already confirmed with my insurance company that the procedure would be fully covered if billed correctly. The office's continued refusal to do so raises serious concerns about their billing practices and their commitment to ethical standards. At this point, this is no longer just an inconvenience--it is a failure to provide appropriate patient care and accurate billing. I would strongly caution others to verify coding and billing practices in advance before trusting this office with their care.

She was not told about this result for UNTIL APRIL 2026. 8 MONTHS LATER Eight months of my moms life went by without knowing something potentially serious was found in her body. No call, no follow-up, no urgency--nothing. She trusted this office with her health. This cancer is fast spreading when my mom could have treated this almost one year ago. Finding out something like this so late is not just frustrating, it's scary. Patients deserve timely communication, especially when it comes to pathology results. There is no excuse for this kind of delay. I cannot recommend this doctor based on my experience. What should have been a straightforward follow-up turned into unnecessary anxiety and a complete lack of accountability. They will be getting a lawsuit very soon.

Called four times asking for an answer and that they were waiting on ANOTHER set of labs which i understand can take a while but still haven't heard from koya. I've only spoken to receptionists who tell me they'll ask koya and give me a call back. It's been two weeks and four phone calls later. I've never wrote a review until now because when I can't tell my doctors what conditions I have due to poor miscommunication, everything else lags when I'm trying to figure out what's wrong.
