Nice staff & great place, but keep getting asked to pay $106 every week, so they may have payment processing issues or problems.

Nurse Zainab Ali took incredible care of my father who walked in with extremely low blood pressure. She and her staff were attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Most of all she displayed such compassion towards not only my father but towards the rest of the family by keeping us in the loop as she was going through the process. What a striking difference between this establishment to the Care Now Urgent Care on Keller Pkwy and Main, where the receptionist BARELY looked up to tell us to take a seat because her computer was down. I came in today to take advantage of a Vitamin B-12 shot advertised for $5.00 from Premier one of those coupons flyers left on our front door. I went in and informed the lady at the front that I wanted to get a Vitamin B-12 shot. She then asked for my drivers license and my insurance. I informed her why would she need my insurance card for a Vitamin shot? She said, if I wanted to file it with my insurance. I told her, that wasn't necessary, as it's not a covered benefit. I handed her my license and she handed me a form to fill out and was told, I didn't have to fill out the insurance part. She said it would be $15.00 and I then presented her my coupon. About a few second later a guy comes out, who obviously heard what I was there for and informed me that they are out of Vitamin B-12 shot and didn't know when they would be getting it in. Then the receptionist maybe, in 2-3 day's?? The guy was like he just doesn't know, making it seem that it would be a long time before they get it in. Wow! Really?? This left me annoyed and questioned their honesty. Had I paid full price, would the shot been available? Had I given my insurance card which this shot wouldn't have covered anyways, would have it been available? Maybe, when you run an add, you should make sure you have adequate supply on hand. Anyway, I won't be coming back! Not confident thing's will be in stock. Especially, if an actual urgent matter arises. read more

This place was awesome! The staff was wonderful and the interior is very clean and neatly kept. There is a Keurig machine, soda, and snacks in the waiting area. I came here on a Tuesday morning believing I had strep throat. I made an appointment online before coming, but we were the only ones there upon arrival. The nurse on staff brought me back shortly, tested me for both the flu and strep, and got results back within 10 minutes. She gave me some tea bags to take home with me to soothe my throat, and called in a prescription ASAP. The process here was incredible simple and quick, much faster than any doctor's office or Care Now I have been to. I highly recommend this location; the service was wonderful and the staff was very kind! read more

We just had a wonderful experience here. Visiting from out of town with 2 kids getting sick. The staff were so amazing and sweet, patient, accommodating, and attentive. The doctor, NP Zainab Ali took her time to listen to our concerns with each child and was so thorough in her examination. We feel Confident that each child received the correct diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommend this urgent care to all families!! read more

Caution what P.A. assists you at this location. Daisy the front desk aid and the P.A. they refer to as "Ms. Z" are not willing to examine you prior to referring you to another medical facility. They provided conflicting recommendations & advice. The dark headed P.A. , Sindha Veettil that examined me 1 wk ago to follow up with her if I still had issues is off till Saturday. P.A. Veettil had an amazing bedside manner and genuinely cared for me as her patient. Sadly I can not say the same for "Ms. Z" & front desk clerk Daisy. Care differs depending on the medical staff member you speak to at this clinic. read more

I came in for allergies and was greeted by a friendly front desk lady, who gave a sheet of paper to fill out and I provided my ID and insurance card. Check in process was quick and easy. I got brought back by the nurse who was friendly and listened to my symptoms. The provider came in after explained my treatment plan and listened to my concerns. Overall was a good experience and got in and out quickly! read more

Beware of getting rapid COVID test here if submitting through insurance! They have a classic bait and switch tactic. I scheduled my visit online through Solv website. It shows they offer rapid test and it shows my insurance coverage is accepted (mine is BCBS). I think all is good, so I book appointment which was the next day. When I got there, they had me sign a waiver that they would not submit the test through insurance. It was too late to find another place as others were booked several days out, and I needed a "rapid" result. Also, BCBS has an easy online claim submittal which takes 2 minutes. I figured if this allows them to test more people, I could easily submit the claim. I finally sit down and initiate claim online and it requires Provider Tax ID #; Procedure code; and Diagnosis code. None of these are on the paperwork MD FirstWatch gives you. I googled the procedure and diagnosis codes for test, but had to call FirstWatch for Tax ID. You can see by my rating, that they would not give it. They said it was private information. This is classic healthcare endless circle. They would not submit insurance or give me the information to do myself. I tried googling their Tax ID (or EIN), but since they are not a publicly traded company it is not available for free. However, you can go to some sites to pay for it. The EIN is public information as it is on your employee's W2. Also, the fcc.gov site states it is public information. An update: To validate the EIN is public information, I plead my case to my insurance company. After about 15 minutes of research and phone calls they were able to provide the MD FirstWatch's EIN. I guess I should have just started with my insurance company and not expect good customer service from MD FirstWatch. I also want to state that this has nothing to do with the nurses and admins at FirstWatch. They were actually very nice. This has to do with the owners' decision to make the patient's life more stressful. read more

I had a great walk in experience at MD Firstwatch. I was having a couple of symptoms that was giving me a hard time with my daily activities. So I decided to come here. From the moment I walked in to the clinic and to the moment I walked out, everything was professional. From the way they take care of the paperwork to the moment I met with the nurse and doctor. I normally don't post reviews about medical offices, but I had a good walk-in experience here on Wednesday night and would definitely come back if I needed medical care. The receptionist took my insurance and brought me back, a nice nurse took my vitals and the doctor came in no time. I was surprised at how the office was so efficient, professional and good-natured. Never, ever again! The front office receptionist was so incredibly rude, disrespectful, argumentative, and just down right nasty. I understand people are tired, but if you can't be at 100% just stay home. Tired parents of sick kids, seeking urgent care don't need your piss poor attitude on top of it. Had I spoke to a patient the way I was spoken to today, I wouldn't have a job. Also, charging a $140 "convenience" fee for a rapid Covid test is out right dishonest. Taking advantage of patients during a pandemic to pad your pockets is down right disgusting. read more

No way I'm going back. The physicians seem to be capable/helpful, but the financial side is horrendous. At my October 3rd appointment, I was required to pay for my visit while in the examination room, even though I had already met my out of pocket maximum for the year. It's now 2 1/2 months later and I'm still waiting for my refund. I have called them 5 times over the last two months trying to get them to submit the claim to insurance so that they can then refund my money, and still nothing. My insurance company has even called them trying to get them to submit the claim, and still I wait. read more

Great staff and service here. Walked in close to closing for a crushed foot injury. I never felt rushed or like I was an inconvenience, even though I felt terrible for keeping them late. Went for a rapid covid test which they advertise results in an hour, it took 4 days to get results. I asked them to email results and they said they could not due to lack of encryption. However they could give me results over the phone. Doesn't make sense. I need the results to go back to work. They told me I would have to come to the facility. They told me they were having problems getting insurance to approve payment for the rapid test so I offered to pay cash and they told me since I had insurance I couldn't pay cash and that the cost was over $200. Later I went back to the website and there was an option to pay cash and the cost was $140. I will never recommend this facility to anyone. read more

This place is AWESOME! The staff is very kind & welcoming! I was in and out in no time. When my fever spiked to 102 degrees, I was home alone with my kids. It was 7:30pm and the urgent care closed at 8pm. My husband was working and my parents were over 30 minutes away so I couldn't wait. I had to bring my children with me. The receptionist was so understanding and kind to my kids. They were offered snacks and beverages while I filled out paper work & saw the doctor. Outside of the amazing service, this urgent care is BEAUTIFUL inside. The layout & interior design is just as warm and welcoming as the staff! It is now my new go to for my family's urgent care needs! read more
