Do not recommend visiting this location. I went there today so that my son can get a physical, EKG, and blood work completed so that he can play football in college this fall. All those services are listed on the website as offered at the location. She first told me that each of those things would be a separate price. I understood that and told her I could pay whatever it was, just needed it done. She went to talk to the doctor and then came back and said they couldn't do the physical because the form the university uses would require them to check everything and they don't do that. I'm a nurse. A head to toe assessment is nursing 101. A doctor can and should check everything anyways. I had a sick child and signed her in online. I received a call and brought her in. It took 2 hours for her to be seen and checked out. A prescription was needed and this was sent to the wrong pharmacy. Care Now was informed of the error and agreed to call in the prescription to the correct pharmacy which is very close by. Waited nearly 2 hours for a PCR Test. My review pertains to everyone but the front desk lady who was helpful and non combative. I come in asking for a PCR test to confirm the expired rapid tests which I took this morning. I'm born and raised in keller but have lived in NYC for 7 years. I'm extremely suspect of rapid tests and have full faith in PCRs which I know I'm not alone in. Well, the nurse upon entering the room asked me if I wanted a rapid test which I politely declined. Stating that I've lived in the city which lost thousands to Covid and vividly remember 2020 which was a living hell. Since this virus has sprung I've only gotten PCR tests since they're fairly easy and now that people don't test as much the results tend to come back sooner. The nurse tries to convince to just take another rapid which wasn't my intention. After declining she starts a brief back and forth about why I need a rapid and I explain I'd rather have a PCR just to officially know. The PA then comes in and questions why I want a PCR. I explain that after working for a hospital and living in NYC I trust PCR more than rapids. She proceeds to give me the PCR after convincing her it was my request. Then, I explain that if I am negative that I'm signing up for the nearest date to get my second booster. The PA proceeds to explain to me in her professional opinion that we don't have enough evidence to support the efficacy of the vaccines. I respond that I trust the CDC and will take any booster they recommend to avoid this virus which I'd contend we know less about the long term side effects. Upon telling her I trust good ole Uncle Sam her eyes roll into the back of her head. Im supposed to trust a PA from Keller, Texas over the CDC? Lmao that's hilarious. I believe in science and I thank God president trump created operation warp speed which gave us the vaccine. Listen, I know Texas is a conservative state and I myself am conservative. I came in this morning after I woke up sick. I have an autoimmune disease and I get sick quite a lot so after years of dealing with this, I've come to know my body very well. When I came in and described my symptoms and told the doctor I would get very sick over the next 24 hours if I didn't take precautions which is why I did a web check in at 5:30AM. She did a very BRIEF exam and told me she didn't see any need to give me any meds and sent me home with nose spray and told me to get OTC allergy meds. I knew there was more to it so I went to Legacy ER off North Tarrant (AMAZING STAFF, and takes more insurance options) turns out I have 2 ear infections and a viral infection. They gave me antibiotics and a steroid shot. Actually did their job. Will NEVER go back to this CareNow. They do not listen to their patients and TBH, the nurses were extremely rude as well excluding the sweet 2 girls in the front office. read more

They were able to do what my primary physician hospital could not do. I was told at my regular doctors appointment office that nothing was wrong with me and that I didn't have anything to worry about. But when I went to CareNow, this one in particular, they were able to determine that I had the flu rather quickly. I get it's more expensive yes but it's better to be told that you have something rather than your provider telling you don't have anything! read more

The staff is very friendly and all but unfortunately i don't feel like the provider did her job correctly. I went in yesterday with all of the classic signs for Covid or the flu and just wanted to get some medication to try to feel better ahead of the holiday weekend, instead she ordered a chest x ray which didn't make a whole lot of sense to me and only called me in something to help with the cough, and told me to buy my own allergy medicine which is funny considering the prescription allergy medication that I take is already in my chart. Fast forward to today when i wake up with a 101.4 degree fever and called them after i got the so kind "follow up if you need anything" text to tell them that they obviously missed something and she responded with "well you can come in and get tested for Covid or the flu" which would cost me another $50 copay. How about we do our jobs correctly the first time which is the same expectation you'd have for anyone else providing a service for you. Now I'll have to spend more money going somewhere else and paying for the prescriptions i should have gotten the first time around. read more

I walked into this CareNow location without an appointment, and although busy, they were still able to fit me in within ~2 hours. The facility is clean and waiting area was well kept- they have options for water and coffee and TVs/magazines. I think the highlight of this location was the nurses and paramedics that work at this location. You could tell it had been a long day for everyone, but they approached everyone with the same enthusiasm and kindness. I had a paramedic (who's name escapes me) check my vitals and give me my shots, and she was wonderful. I was cranky and feeling super sick but her good vibes caught onto me and made the doctors visit a lot better. The D.O. I had- not so much. The first thing she said was "are your eyes always this black?" Ouch, but it was a long day for everyone and around 8pm so I didn't make too much out of it (until now). I have come to this CareNow location several times for myself as well as family, and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. Next time I go, I will ask to see someone other than the D.O, as I would rather not be judged by my appearance as soon as she walks in. read more

My families Keller Urgent care experience was absolutely horrendous! Web Check-In wasn't working, drove to the center, was told the web check-in was taken taken down due to a shortage of nurses. Which I understand during a pandemic. Put my name on the waiting list, I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half to get a call back for our appointment. 4 hours later they called back.. Once we arrived we got right in which was good. The appointment was for my son who we believe had allergies, with a sore throat. Anyway for $500 I got a Covid test which was positive and a blood pressure check, and a Blood oxygen level check. $500 that's how much it cost me here at the urgent care at 377 and BearCreek.. The Doctor was very unprofessional, along with the nursing staff... They charged my son who is special needs and on medicaid insurance $500 because they said the did take his insurance. Thank god he has a family that helps him out, because that would have been all the money he had for the months.. Do not ever go here...... read more

Husband visited the facility in Roanoke, Tx. His chief complaint was exacerbation of asthma and SOB. This facility tested him for COVID and when it came back negative they told him to go home and wait it out ignoring his respiratory issues. The Healthcare provider failed to do a thorough exam of his lungs which (if he had) would have heard inspirtory and expiratory weezing. He'll, it is audible from 5 feet away. My husband had to ask for steroids. He has never received such poor care anywhere he has gone. read more

UPDATE: As it turns out, in their rush to get us out of the facility, they gave us a note and not the results of the tests. When I submitted the paperwork to my employer, they rejected it. Called the CareNow location and they made me break quarantine so I could come get the results. I stepped into the office and the 2 desk workers left me standing there for 5 minutes until I said something. Then, they intended to kick me out of the facility when it was because the ineptitude of their facility the reason why I was standing there to begin with. Beyond ridiculous. But my daughter spent HOURS waiting to have a physical and it became an incomplete physical because my daughter saw a cardiologist in 2014. I sent a picture of the release to my daughter to show the doctor and it's still incomplete. Also, I called my insurance because she was suppose to have a drug test also. Carenow said it's not covered. Actually it is! They charged her $18 for an incomplete physical, didn't do the drug test AND she spent hours there. I was the first patient in (used online checkin) and had to wait 40 minutes to see the Dr. I saw the Dr. for 5 minutes tops, and waited another 20 minutes to be discharged, and another 10 minutes to pay. The cost was $327.00. The result two prescriptions and what turned out to be a missed diagnosis. read more

I did web check in tonight. Walked in at about 7:20 and there were 2 other people already In The waiting room. At 8:30 they called me back. At 9:10 pm no one had come in to examine me so I stepped out into the hall and saw that the lights had been turned off. I realized no one was coming to examine me. I walked to the front desk and told the lady no one has come to my room and that I needed to go. Her response? "That's fine, you can go!" Not even a let me check to see if a provider can see you or I'm so sorry let me get someone to help you, nothing!!! I went here needing to be tested for histoplasmosis after being diagnosed with it in a rather untraditional manner by a dentist. The dentist told me to take caprylic acid & I thought it wise to get a second opinion. "It" whatever was wrong, was causing my hair to fall out by the handfuls. The Dr went out of her way to look it up for me as she'd never ordered it before. She found it and ordered the blood test for me. They make you lay down for a blood draw because someone once passed out. Not a problem. I get a call days later telling me that I did not have histoplasmosis. I also got a letter in the mail saying call us, we can't reach you. They could have mailed me my lab results but didn't. This information was passed to me verbally. And guess what, IT WASN'T THE TRUTH! When I was still dealing with the symptoms two months later. I got a copy of my labs from this location. No where did it say I was negative or positive. It said this blood test couldn't determine if I had been exposed to histoplasmosis or if I hadn't. The test was inclusive, and it said I'd have to use a different type of test. For some unknown reason I was fed a bag of bull. My tests results were read to me and I was told I did not have anything wrong, it came back "negative". Never was I told I needed to be retested even if that was somewhere else. How on earth does any Dr. practice medicine like this? The ball was certainly dropped on my care. Anyone that can read English could have just read me the facts that were listed on the lab report instead of creating bull cookies and outright lying to me. "Your fine" here means "you'd better get a copy of your own labs and read them for yourself." That's all I have to say. I certainly wouldn't trust y'all with my life a second time unless I wanted to have the word FOOL tattooed on my forehead. And by the way, the hair loss from the malnutrition of having "Histo" lining my digestive tract is permanent and I now qualify for a hair transplant after going undiagnosed and untreated for over a year. CareNow is my go to place when any of my family members and/or I need to be seen. Web Check-in is a life saver and really caters to the patients. Be aware that it's not a tool for you to be bumped ahead of others or for you to be guaranteed to be seen at a certain time. They give you a time window and you get to keep your sick butt at home until they're close to being ready to see you. As for the incomplete physical review, there is not a doctor one that would accept a screenshot of a cardiology clearance. And if there are, THOSE are the doctors to be wary of. I myself find it comforting that they wouldn't accept it and see it as a testimony to CareNow's commitment to safe, quality service. The front office staff seem friendlier than the ones they had before. That's a plus. They seem to deal well with being busy and work together to get the job done efficiently as possible. So kudos for that improvement. :) Also, Just as a friendly reminder, there is a Baylor ER just north of the clinic. No need to drive all over the metroplex if you or your loved ones really need emergency care. Overall, I appreciate them and their care. EDIT: December 2018. Been here since 3:20pm and it is 5pm right now. That is WITH web check-in. Didn't used to be this bad. But it looked like they were empty then called everyone in at once to wait and exchange germs for a while. ‍ Then the receptionist told me my daughter couldn't leave a specimen for a suspected UTI until she got called back. Convenient, normal medical pricing, clean, efficient, well honed system. You just can't beat the web check in, that is my favorite feature for sure. I plug my info in online at home, they call me, set things up, then call me back when I am to arrive. I get there, wait a short while (usually less than 5 minutes), then am taken back to a room. I have had two serious battles with cancer and an autologous stem cell transplant. I have to have access to care at any moment. I've been in and out of ER's, hospitals, and doctors offices. This is about as efficient as they come. The typical cost on my insurance plan is $50 visit until I hit out of pocket maximum, then no cost for a visit. I've never felt I've been given the financial shafting that ER's give. Those places are slow and cost a huge ton bucket of money. Not Carenow. It isn't cheap, mind you, but no health care is. I would prefer to always go to my primary doctors, but when infections hit at odd moments, I can normally not get into my doctors offices who are scheduled ahead for weeks anyways. Plus, doctors offices don't typically have an x-ray machine and tech on hand. They zipped me in and out for the x-ray and were able to quickly notify me of my pneumonia, which I already suspected. They have typically listened well and made strong enough interventions to make a difference. Stated another way, they don't play around. They'll hit me with 1-2 shots of something, then give me the appropriate prescriptions, and they do something no one else ever does: they call back the next day to see if I am doing better of not. Efficient, definitive (but a little limited on scope) care, good system, clean place, professional staff. My only real drawback is based around their efficiency. To keep things moving, they go quick and listen for key words. Not really to bad honestly, as they are good at it. I suppose they couldn't keep getting us in and out quickly if they sat down for 20-30 minutes per patient and jabber jawed. Recommended. read more
