Well run full service gun experience. If on vacation or local, I highly advise a stop here. Either…read moreto shoot with great instructors or buying a firearm, these guys do it all. Having bought several class III items from these guys, I can say they have outstanding customer service. They spend an hour or so helping me get my son added to my trust and notarized these documents at no cost! How much better does it get! A truly one stop modern gun store. I can't say enough about their customer service! I am so glad they are local to me. C.R.

First of all I am not Ex Military but I am a retired Police Officer with 27 years service before…read moreretiring. Some officers I am friends with mentioned this store as being very nice but 2 things to know, it's better if you are ex military, and be prepared for higher prices. I live in a neighboring city and thought it was worth the try. I wanted to sell one of my handguns and online info was they paid fair value for used guns? I went in on 9/23 about 1 or 1:15pm and waited at the Gunsmith counter. In about 5 minutes I was waved over to the counter. The first thing I noticed was the employee did not look like ex military so I thought maybe there were other staff in different jobs. I explained why I was there and handed the employee my S&W box my gun was still in, never fired and in the same box and contents from when I bought it. The employee pulled out the Semi Auto .40 caber and took a quick look and told me what my gun was?? He then said there is no demand for these and the best I could do is $50! I was shocked naturally by not only the offer but his less than friendly/or professional his approach was. I smiled and said wow the pawn shop in Lewisville offered me $150 and I thought they were getting to me? He responded we can't sell these on GunBroker because we can't get our money out of them! I told him that I had been on GunBroker that morning to see what they were selling for and there were NONE for sale as used, and there were 2 sellers with new ones at $299 each in other states. He closed out by saying we can't resell those??? Just for the record my gun is a S&W .40 CALIBER SD MODEL 4". It was purchased new for $329 in April and was never used or fired. I purchased a used .45 S&W about 6 weeks later because that is the gun I wanted but new they were very expensive in the metroplex. I paid half what a new one would cost. I was only hoping to get a fair price for the .40 since I had replaced it but I made a mistake of coming to your store! FYI I had two older brothers serv in the military years ago and have a strong respect for the military! I chose to go into Law Enforcement after school instead. I would like to say the facility is beautiful but is more expensive than 3 other DFW gun stores/ranges. At this time I can't say if I would go back to your store due to pricing but mainly due to the employee I dealt with. He was not professional and actually was almost rude! He dealt with me and dismissed me in under 2 minutes and no one was in line behind me. He had NO desire to keep me as a customer for your store! If you are looking for a high class gun store and range this may be your place. Hopefully you are not trying to sell a firearm and you don't get this employee that I got! The really bad part is I made 2 prior trips to TGE before yesterday only to be told the "buyer" was not there? The first time he was at a late lunch and to come back in an hour. The second time he had not arrived yet? My wife was at a doctors appointment in Grapevine and I could not stay around and wait. Now I am sure that the 3rd time is NOT the charm! Good luck to you.

Can't leave a tougher review - very disappointed to have to do so within the 2A community. Owner…read morewas dishonorable and lied for a year straight. 1 year ago I bought a brand new CMMG Banshee with Trinity as the FFL. I immediately had Trinity put a new Elftmann trigger in. While waiting for the install, Aaron (one of the employees) put a big scratch in the lower trying to get the trigger pins out. He came out and showed me, apologized, and said they'd make it right. I said no worries, we'll figure it out. Trinity initially wanted to "try for a warranty claim" through CMMG. I felt this was dishonest, but didn't fight it as I just wanted a new Banshee. I didn't fight that. In the August timeframe they told me a replacement was available. I came in and when I arrived it was the wrong gun all together (different color, version with a 3 inch longer barrel, etc.). I re-provided the guns info and was told another was ordered through CMMG and "5-6 of their distributors". Was told I just needed to be patient and wait for the gun to arrive. Since August I have called to try to get status and continued to get the run around from Trinity. I've left countless messages and Richard (the owner) refuses to call back or provide info regarding any of the order numbers. This has been going on since September. It's now March 2021 and I called CMMG to see if I could get status from them. They said there was never an order placed. Again I told Richard and he pretended to be surprised and said he'd dig in and get back to me. I said all I needed was proof that the replacement was ordered through CMMG or ANY of the distributors he said it was. He will not provide that info or return calls. I stopped in again last week and it was the same story and the staff just says they've left him message after message to call me back. At this point it's been a full year since Trinity scratched my brand new extremely expensive Banshee. They refuse to correct the issue and continue to duck calls & emails. I believe they have been 100% dishonest and are engaging in extremely poor business practices. It's one thing when you're just going in to spend money with them, but it's another when they damage your property and are actually on the hook to take responsibility for it. This review is posted so that others don't fall into the same situation. I wish I didn't have to write this about a business in my local 2A community, but unfortunately that's what it has come to after a year of trying for resolution. Trinity - shame on you guys for the way you chose to handle yourselves.

Kaila and Mack were the best and very patient with us. They educated us on how to properly hold our first gun and had really good recommendations as to which guns we should try. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town and purchasing a membership!

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at Shoot Smart West Freeway…read more Since the range was remodeled, they have removed the flat shooting bench or countertop that used to be in each lane. That surface gave you a safe, convenient place to lay your firearm between loads while keeping it pointed downrange. The only surface available to us was a small Rubbermaid-style cart about three and a half feet tall. This made working with and sighting in long guns extremely awkward and nearly impossible. The range was also uncomfortably hot. An employee explained that the air conditioning was running on high, but the exhaust system that removes gun smoke and fumes also pulls the cooled air out almost as quickly as it enters. I understand the importance of proper ventilation, but the temperature made shooting very uncomfortable. The retail inventory was also ridiculously understocked. I was looking for tinted shooting glasses, magazines for several firearms, speed loaders, and a barrel-cooling fan so I could safely cool my rifle before returning it to its case. They had none of these items. When I asked about the lack of merchandise, an employee told me their inventory manager was not doing a very good job. On the positive side, all the employees were friendly and courteous. The gunsmith was especially helpful and was able to sight in the rifle I had been struggling with very quickly. Unfortunately, friendly employees and a capable gunsmith were not enough to overcome the poor range setup, excessive heat, and severely limited inventory. I will be trying a different shooting range the next time I go shooting.
