So we got to flights of the samples, they cant serve whole beers but for the three of us (dad wasnt drinking, he was driving two flights was totally enough). The beer there is particular. Some of it is light and its on the light side but there are a few that are also heavy. I bought a hat (felt kind of like a clown wearing at the place where they make it but I didnt want to get a bag and who am I trying to impress haha?) anyway that should tell you how much I like this g*damn place Later ps forgot to mention that those people from the wine place were there to they cleaned their kids up but boy the parents seemed to be kind of bar crawling cant say i blame them me my friend and parents were doing the same thing but without a couple of little kids so its different

We ordered the pizza roll and chicken and waffle. The pizza rolls were fun to eat and definitely tasted like pizza. It was too bad that there were only 3 rolls though. The chicken and waffle was different from what we usually have. This was half a waffle with a few pieces of fried chicken on top and a lot of fries on the side. The fries were so tasty but it was just too much for us to finish. The first bite of the chicken was a surprise as it was very salty. The sauce on top helped a bit but the saltiness was just overwhelming.

Second night ordered a Cosmopolitan and a vodka tonic, mussels and house salad and lobster roll and beet salad. Lobster roll tasted like tuna salad...on a hamburger bun. Sent it back. They really wanted the grand opening to be special and, for that day, were waiving the growler fee and even giving a free glass with each growler! Uncle Leo's "home" is a beautiful country-esque building with a nice sign; it really fits in well with the surroundings. When we got there, there was a long line-up, proving the point that craft beer is not just an urban thing but that foks in more rural areas are catching on to good beer! For now, they produce two beers, a red ale and an IPA, with the help of famed beer guru Greg Nash. Both beers are fantastic, although my taste buds prefer hoppier types like the IPA. As IPAs go, this one is somewhat tame, with beautiful floral notes with a touch of bitterness from the hops. A really good IPA for nice summer days. Let's hope their beers make their way into many pubs and restaurants!
