I was immediately greeted by their front desk staff who had my reservation pulled up and put a key in my hand within 2 minutes. She let me know about their lobby bar/restaurant, where the gym was, and notes on other amenities. The room itself was great. This one had a king size bed, bench/couch for seating, desk & chair, retro mini fridge, and big bathroom. Again, everything felt clean and updated. Was a fan of the big walk-in shower and around-the-mirror lighting. Oh and the bed was nice and comfy too. The large tv has various streaming apps that you can log into (which auto log out upon your departure). Weird pet peeve of mine is when hotels charge you for bottles of water in your room though- especially the very cheap ones that are maybe 18 cents but they charge you 3 bucks for them. When you're paying a good amount to stay in a hotel, I personally think the least that could be provided is water. I used the gym during my brief stay as well. Found on the 5th floor, it's an okay-size. Little on the smaller end as far as hotel fitness centers go. You'll find a couple treadmills, a few bikes, dumbbell rack, benches, and a multi-use corner machine. The bar/restaurant on the first floor was great, as were all of the staff I encountered working there during my two times dining. Prices are steep ($19 omelette, dang!) but they have a great variety on the menu. Parking is plentiful, as there is a massive lot out front. If you're looking to park overnight, like I was, expect to pay the $30. All in all, this was a great hotel that offered a super comfortable stay. Very convenient next to the O'hare airport, too!

Maintenance came up very quickly and made the adjustment and provided a fan to help cool the room down quickly. The room was well appointed, loved the recliner with pop up footrest but the decor needed a refresh. The wallpaper was bubbling in corners, the bathroom was small, the door skimmed the toilet and the toilet sounded like an old clunker revving up after flushing. Would have loved more convenient outlets for the iron closer to the closet instead of having to carry the ironing board across the room. The lobby and public spaces seem to have been redone recently. Meeting spaces in the basement were reasonably roomy. Serving staff were immaculately trained, pausing for presentations, always present and helpful but unobstrusive. As a woman heading to the bathrooms near the meeting spaces it felt a tad unsafe as that area is open to anyone going to or coming from the airport or the train. To the hotel's credit there is a lot of traffic from staff in that corridor but still... The gym is probably the best thing about the hotel. Lots of space, tons of equipment and free weights. I went there both nights I stayed here.

Consistent with the quality of come to expect from Hilton, there was daily housekeeping. The conference spaces where the seminar was held, were clean, stocked with snacks, and had good acoustics. The gym, on the 10th floor, broken down into two spaces: one four cardio in the pool and the other for weights. The pool is heated and is open until 11pm. There are about 4 treadmills, and the strength section has a good mix of free weights and machines. The lobby restaurant had a good selection of Americana (think burgers & roasted chicken) as well as a really yummy green risotto and short ribs, as well as a hearty cab sab. Their penne vodka with chicken was another favorite. Remember how I mentioned I came for work? Well the USB adapter in my laptop must have not liked the turbulence on my flight and it got damaged. Well, the front desk employees were really helpful in trying to be defined another electronic store and eventually suggesting that just order it through Uber and they would hold it at the front desk. Great service there! The only improvement I would suggest is with the parking. When a friend of mine came to visit for a couple of hours, she was charged $40 by their third-party provider. It'd be nice if they had an hourly option for parking.

There isn't a ton of casual seating space like I've seen in other Hyatts but there is some general spaces and coffee shop market with tables. Didn't spend much time in the bar area but it's pretty central and seemed like it was pretty active there every night.

There is shuttle to and from the airport. Rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Good water pressure and plenty of towels. Next could be a positive and/or negative ....This is also very close to the interstate and under the flight path of planes landing Chicago O'hare. You hear planes passing over head every 5-10 minutes and if you are sensitive to noises, You might have problems sleeping here. This hotel needs a mayor update. The lobby furniture was old and tired. The Elevator was very slow. This hotel offered free breakfast, however the food was below average, the options were limited for a Hyatt level hotel- not what we experienced in Nashville.
