I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.

There is a sensor that drops the temperature down once a maximum temperature is reached. This makes cooking extremely ineffective as a consistent temperature is not maintained and it takes much longer to do anything. I contacted Coast Appliances and was told that I could not return or exchange this brand new stove because it was a special order as it was ordered online (I did not note a "special order" anywhere online when I ordered) - moreover, they said that my only option was to purchase a new stove as all the coils from 2018 onwards are produced like this. They basically said that the sensi temp coils were mentioned on the website (I went back under features and checked and it did not state this), and also that I had plugged the stove in to test it, nothing further could be done. I will not recommend to anyone and please avoid the hassel of online purchases for appliances so you don't find yourself in the same boat!

I reached out to Trail Appliances and they told me to contact Bosch, I contact Bosch and they tell me to contact Trail Appliances. Trail appliances would not offer any type of solution - so I offered a solution to Trail for the unmatched appliances. I offered to bring in a stainless steel swatch and match the Micro/Oven combo unit to exchange for any other brand that would match to the refrigerator. They would not exchange the appliance - they offered me another appliance at COST price. I did not think spending more money was the solution Trail Appliances should have offered to their customer. UPDATE: Your March 11, 2026 response to my review is inaccurate. You mentioned that you advocated on our behalf with the manufacturer and solutions were offered. That is simply not true that you or Bosch offered any type of a solution for us. The issue had nothing to do with the new matching the old appliances. They didn't even advise us whom could repair it. I had to get a hold of Dacor corporate to find a repair company. In the end, Dacor doesn't make the parts anymore so we have to buy a whole new range. Trail is selling equipment, deemed as high end, like Dacor, that is not serviceable and doesn't last. I would really do your research and find a supplier who has better after sales service, than Trail.

What SHOULD have happened is, Shawn Raja owner ,salesman , one man show etc should have had us return the stove and allow us to find something else or refund the purchase. This needs to be done within 48 hours of telling him there is a problem. He did nothing! In turn he caused a delay in getting a resolution and added stress and frustration. He is not a nice person to intentionally refuse to help someone who just paid for a brand new appliance. I have correspondence from Fridgidaire on how he failed and caused delays, stress and frustration. I wish we had never stopped at his store! I want a refund for the bogus extended warranty he sold us for $200 . He lies, he's dishonest and he's not a good human being. I'm filing a complaint with consumer affairs due to his shady business practices. Bait and switch. He showed a stove on the floor in black but we bought one in stainless steel. It was supposedly the same stove. We were charged an additional $100 for it and it is the lowest quality model we ended up with. It has no self clean option but the floor model does. Every time we go in to the store, we are greeted warmly and offered a very good espresso. We are given room and time to look around before being re-approached. There are no hard sell tactics. All staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and are willing to work within your budget. Jerry the owner has been extremely hands on with helping me with an issue with one of my products. He personally troubleshooted and diagnosed the issue. He then went out of his way and ensured that the warranty was honoured. I will never go to another place again. The people who work here are very qualified and friendly. They take the time to explain every appliance and eventhough I changed my mind a few times, they gave me the best service. The owner, Jerry, goes above and beyond and has so much knowledge about his products. Their showroom is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit if you need new appliances.
