Good service here, it's comfortable and the vibe is very chill. The fish and chips dish was good, the fish was a little overcook and the fries were a little undercooked but it tasted great and the sauce was delicious and not overbearing but balanced out the meal (which is excellent). The water tasted great (even with ice) as did the corned beef hash -- this was very good. The coleslaw is a bit sweet but overall it doesn't weigh you down and you can still have a brew without overdoing it on the stomach. There is live music sometimes adding an artistic atmosphere and I enjoy looking at the decorative walls and shelves. Definitely a place worth checking out for a cozy dinner with the fam or a group.

The London bridge pub is like taking a trip to London without leaving Monterey. The place is decorated with all things British. It is very fun! The location right next to the boat docks at the harbor is amazing as well. On a beautiful day, it's hard to imagine a better spot to eat lunch or grab a drink and just watch the world go by. We all ordered bangers and mash for lunch when we were there. We all enjoyed them quite a bit and will definitely return to eat again another day and enjoy the beautiful view and very cute pub!

A short walk from the pier, this restaurant is exactly what you want a restaurant by the ocean to look like. Wooden captain statues, ship steering wheels, rope and everything else to set sail. We only had interaction with on of the staff, she seated us and took our order. Very nice and did well for being busy. I had the fish and chips, menu said "award winning" It was good, came with steak cut fries. Daughter had clam chowder in the bread bowl. I had a spoon full and the flavor was really good. She eat all the soup! Wife had BLAT bacon lettuce avocado tomato sandwich. No clue if it was good, she took that thing down fast. Great view of all the boats in the harbor, sea lions talking in back ground. We sat on patio and they have heaters and fire pits to stay warm. They did a great job blocking the wind. Defiantly a good spot when in town.

I rarely get over here and it is a slice of heaven for a good fish & chips. The portion was large and hearty. I need remember that this is a great spot to drop in and grab a quick bite instead of hanging around downtown Monterey. I was promptly seated near a window to watch the tourists and boats. The server recommended several dishes, though I settled on the iconic fish & chips plate. It came with a large deep fried cod that was perfectly fried and opened up to tender fish. The fries helped in quashing the black and tan beer (Guiness and Bass Ale). The cole slaw was refreshing and hit the spot. The have a large dining room and a small patio outside. Come check out the drink & food specials.

We had a nice casual lunch while watching a football game in the bar area. It's a large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating right on the water. The food was good and the service was great.

We rode our bikes here and ate outside, it was a brilliant view along the harbor and the food was priced fairly for the location. No complaints, we had a great lunch here. Fish and chips was as yummy as the waiter said it would be.

I went here when I was in Monterey for a group dinner. I did think the place was very amenable to having a large group and letting us move tables around and do separate checks. The service seemed a little harried with the large number of people who were ordering food. Also the food came out pretty quickly. The food itself was pretty average to mediocre. I was a bit dismayed how quickly my fish and chips came out because it made me think it was made ahead of time and not to order. The taste was pretty good but definitely nothing to write home about. I do think if I had been drinking alcohol I might have enjoyed it more - kind of my usual thought of bar/restaurants that the food is made to encourage you to drink more! My mom said the bean burger was just okay. The portions are pretty large. It's probably an indicator that the parking lot nearby was full and I saw people waiting to get into the upstairs restaurant, but this spot was relatively empty!

Located in Fishermans Warf plenty of paid parking spots. Place definitely made you feel like you were somewhere else with all the decorations. It was empty since I visited after lunch. Food was delicious staff was friendly. Would visit again.

Amazing service and very friendly folks! It's not just a pub but a family friendly restaurant too. The ambiance is very English... rather British! Lot of British curios true to the name Food was good! We had the curried fries, buffalo wings, fish n chips (good Icelandic cod not oily at all) and beef sliders.

This review is for happy hour only. This place isn't legit if you want to get some drinks going. We had three drinks, two Cape cods and a white wine and it was $19. Sit on the patio. They have the nice fire pits working. The server was super nice. We did not eat but it's standard British pub fare! Go get you some and great views of the harbor!

A huge shout out to our server Madison. On this lovely afternoon in Monterey with my mom and twin sister she made our dining experience so lovely. Friendly and just the right amount of talkative for us. My mom and sister and I were long overdue for a visit so we were a bit rambunctious and happy to be together! Prices were high of course but this is Monterey and well we all know the world is crazy right now. Between the three of us it was perfect to share two entrees. Plenty of food for the three of us. The wedge salad is a fun simple salad to order out. Crisp iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing, blue cheese crumbles and of course bacon. Adding a few dices of fresh tomatoes and it was perfect. I did not try the chowder but Mom and Twin said it was good. The fish was the star. A large piece of white fish, we think cod, and a not to thick batter. Hot and crispy. French fries cooked perfectly too. We all agreed that the coleslaw was probably not made in house but it was a good side of coolness sided with the hot fish and fries. Large parking lot here. Enjoy life and eat good food. SYOY!

Food was good, I brought pictures. It was hot, and crispy, nourishing. Fish fry had tempura crunch taste was hard to put down and share. Fish fry you might need to let rest. Before serving, it. Mine broke apart a lot. Very greasy. Service was slow, I like request is next time r cups bigger next time? 11oz cups don't do it for ppl who drink a lot. 19 oz cups might be better. Sunlight bright, inside and outside, would have been cooler for some of us. hallway to bathroom is well decorated, and clean. I should brought my phone with me to take pictures. The soap dispenser was empty, though. You might need to check in on that daily. Shio might like this place.

I came in loving the location with the nice view of the doc. The service was pretty good and the ambiance is just like a Pub should be. The food was what I looked forward to however, the popular items I got were very bland with the lightest seasoning I've ever had here in town. Even the BLT my family members had were very dry and had no mayo. The mashed potatoes were a good texture but had no seasoning. The gravy was okay but I definitely expected more flavor. The steamed veggies were not cooked enough and were also very bland. We happened to come in on trivia night, so hearing the the loud speaker constantly calling out trivia questions was a bit annoying but, that was not a deal breaker for me. Another thing I didn't really appreciate was that they don't give military discount and this restaurant is within earshot of the base. I probably won't come back unless it's for a beer and french fries because those were the best items we had during this visit.

Very mediocre. I've had better chowder. The flat soda was $5 each. Table top was wobbly. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I was so thrilled to check this pub out especially with our doggie, Meatball the Bulldog! How perfect right? A Bulldog at The Bulldog Sports Pub. We snagged the last available booth, and it had crumbs on there. Not clean. SMH. I went to the bar to order some drinks for my boyfriend and me since he left his wallet in the car. It was raining that night, and we parked several blocks away. The service was okay. I remember the guy bartender said $29something, but then he charged me $30something. I got the Jalapeno Margarita while my boyfriend had the Tito's Mule. My drink was very sweet with a kick of jalapeno while his was pretty good. They had music playing. It seems that there is a modern jukebox where you can pay to pick a song. There was one pool table for people to play. So many people came up to pet Meatball and give him so much attention. He absolutely loved it! There was one guy who asked if he can say "Hi" to Meatball, and we said that it was okay like we normally do. This weirdo was basically making out with Meatball; not cool at all man. Then Meatball flipped on his back, and he was holding Meatball. My boyfriend told him to let go of Meatball. It was such an uncomfortable interaction. Not normal at all. He even said, "This is my NYE kiss!" SMDH. The guy sat down at a table that is across from us, and he kept looking at us. We quickly finished our drinks, and then we left to ring in the new year at our hotel lobby instead. We should have just hung out in our hotel lobby instead of going out; it was much better there.
