Attached to Padeland, Lomas is the restaurant portion that you have to pass through to reach the courts. The interior is impeccably decorated and bathed in sunlight during the afternoon. A large row of bar seating, tables for 4, couches for lounging, as well as large tables for ~8-10. There is also outdoor seating, which will be perfect once temps aren't triple digits. They offer brunch/breakfast, dinner, libations, as well as coffees from the espresso machine behind the bar. There is an abundance of staff, all of whom are friendly and attentive. Pricing is on the steeper side, for both food and drinks.

Was going to give a 4* but maybe change it next time after the menu is adjusted while they work through the updates after recently opening. They converted this movie theatre foyer into a Mexican restaurant and it's a really neat concept how they did it with padel board and pickle ball courts connected inside. So yea, the ambiance is really neat bc of that but the menu lacks for people with dietary restrictions or preferences. No vegetarian options unless you have an off menu bean and cheese burrito made. No kids menu but they made something off menu. Chips and salsa are not on the menu but they have it. No chicken items at all on the menu. I ordered a shrimp enchilada type dish and it was good. Service was decently good. Will come back if they update the menu with more options for all people to eat off the menu and revise this review then.

I heard that there are new owners which makes sense. All the old workers are gone along with the welcoming atmosphere and delicious food we had come to know and love. On our last visit, some in our party got birria tacos and they all came with decently sized chopped bones in them! When we told the server about it, there was no apology - he actually said that is how they make it?!?!? Let me get this straight, you put choking hazard sized bones in your tacos and don't tell anyone to watch out for them? I've included pics and video so you can see what I am talking about. Tacos are my favorite food on the planet and I've had birria tacos at many, many places (including Mexico) and have never encountered multiple bones in any kind of taco for that matter. Unfortunately their carnitas tacos are dry and flavorless. The Super Taco is still pretty good (no bones), but this and our recent experiences here are making us cross this place off of our rotation going forward. Tortas, thanks for the memories, it was a helluva run, pero no mas.

The food was flavorful, the staff was friendly, and there are cute local shops and fresh aguas frescas nearby to explore. The only downside was the food came out at different times for our party of four, so we couldn't all eat together. Overall, a great family-friendly spot with lots of culture and charm!

Espo's in Chandler is one of those local gems that keeps us coming back. On our most recent visit,…read morewe ordered the Pueblo Alto Burrito with added guacamole--a carne asada California-style burrito--and it was absolutely fantastic. My wife can be pretty particular when it comes to carne asada, so she was a little hesitant when I suggested we share it. After a few bites, she couldn't get enough! The carne asada was flavorful, tender, and clearly high quality, and the burrito itself was packed with great ingredients and balanced flavors. The added guacamole was the perfect finishing touch. As much as we loved the burrito, Espo's has become a go-to spot for our family because of their Taco Tuesday special. Their 10-taco plate for around $12 is an incredible value, especially for families. We love that you can mix and match between carne asada, carnitas, ground beef, chicken, and shredded beef, making it easy to get something everyone will enjoy. The restaurant also has that fun, authentic hole-in-the-wall feel while still being a well-established local favorite. It's the kind of place that locals know and love for good reason. If you've never tried Espo's, I highly recommend giving it a shot. Great food, great value, and a true Chandler staple.

From researching on Yelp I learned this place specializes in Baja Mexican food, seafood and we were looking for a place that served ceviche. Bingo! We ordered the Torro de Mariscos to share, a seafood tower consisting of shrimp ceviche, cooked shrimp, octopus, squid, aguachile, avocado, cucumber, red onion, topped with a tomato sauce. Enjoy on cracker or corn chips. We were hungry and started eating on arrival, so my picture is post tower demolition. Hehe Checkout the menu for a picture of the tower presentation. I had a similar dish last time I was in San Carlos deep sea fishing and this was right there on flavor and freshness! Very comfortable atmosphere with bright color mural paintings and mariachi music playing in the background gave the feeling that I was in Mexico! Afterwards I learned that the owner is from San Carlos! Wow! Small world! We will be back! Highly recommended for Baja Mexican food!
