Food was tasty! Service was quick and attentive. It was an interesting ambiance, very peppy french music. The matcha was also pretty good. Price-wise, it was roughly $25 per person, do with that what you will! Overall, 4/5. The smoked tempeh was a highlight!

Both the cappuccino and the iced matcha latte were some of the better ones we've had! I would totally go back for either and I'd love to try their Chai latte one day too. The establishment had a somewhat trendy vibe. In addition to their coffee and salads, they also sold wine by the bottle as well as health drinks and some snacks.

I've been eyeing this place since before they even opened and the signage just went up and I had no idea what kind of place it was, lol. Well, I finally got around to having lunch there. Lollo is a salad restaurant. They have pre-designed salads and you can also create your own salad. The concept is similar to Freshii, but I personally think they do it so much better than Freshii. I made my own salad. The base is $6, then you pay per topping and toppings range from $0.50 to $4. I chose the Lollo mix (baby spinach and baby kale) as my base and added carrots, red cabbage, artichokes, roasted broccoli and chickpeas. The salad cost me $10 before taxes. I got the Maple Balsamic dressing on the side. Overall, the salad tasted really good. The greens were all fresh, no wilted or liquified pieces, like I've had at other places. They were generous with the toppings. I really liked the roasted broccoli, the texture was spot on, not mushy but not too hard. The artichokes were also great. The dressing was amazing. I liked the maple flavour and the consistency - not too oily, and a little bit thick. They gave me 2 Solo cups of dressing. I used less than 1, so I saved the rest to use on my own salads at home, lol. Service was friendly and the place was clean. The wait was a little bit longer than I expected, but not unacceptably long. They also sell SuzyQ donuts there. A good healthy option in the Byward Market. Being a Shakespeare fan, I really like their tagline "Love your salad days." Unfortunately, my salad days in the Shakespearean sense are over, but I can still have salad days in the culinary sense ;)

Overall: A beautifully clean and minimalist spot with fresh ingredients and friendly staff Food: I ordered the Chicken Capri sandwich and OMG was it good. This is the definition of quality ingredients in every bite. The veg, chicken and bocconcini in the sandwich were so fresh and delicious, loved every bite Drink: N/A on this visit Atmosphere: Beautiful and simple interior, looks like a great place to get work done and enjoy a coffee and sandwich. Price $10 gets you a delicious sandwich with fresh side salad Pro-tip: if you are in the market looking for a light healthy and delicious meal, hit this place up

Stopped by before the tour at Mint museum and was not disappointed, create salad by my own, taste good, tried latte but not as expected like Starbucks or tim hortons

Beautiful salad, beautiful space, friendly staff. If I lived here I'd come back all the time. Would love to try more of their salads!

1 star for treatment…read more I used to go this place, celebrated birthdays & friends' reunions when their location was on Clarence and then on York St. Those time, they had friendly & welcoming staff. But, when I got hit on the hand by the metal pole of their flying patio umbrella (not bolted down or affixed to their patio table), I was dismissed ('there's nothing wrong with your hand') & told to just google their information because they don't have a business card, there's no manager or person in charge on the premises yet there were 3 women from the café who avoided my request for contact information. They did offer ice in a bag BUT only after much insisting that I'd like to speak to someone in charge of the café. Again, I was dismissed and told that there's no responsibility to be had because it was an accident and that I should leave the premises because I was causing a scene since I ended up crying because my hand was hurting. The security camera of the Byward Market building across the street caught the whole hit incident (June 16).

Not as good as I hoped…read more We had been here before and I didn't remember being impressed. But I wanted to check it out again just to make sure. My carrot monster cake was dry. It was also a little too cold such that the icing was too firm. I should have snapped a picture of the cracked side of the cake, which is a clear sign that something's not right.
