We had a fabulous gourmet meal. You need to make a reservation and they are only open for dinner. You will have your table for 2 hours and they do not rush you. The portions are not large but they are exquisite and everything is local and made in house. I started with an Amaretto sour mocktail and it was excellent, really liked the splash of dark cherry. I had the scallop appetizer which came with mint, jalapeño, sweet citrus and an anchovy based sauce, the flavors mixed perfectly. For my main I had the fish of the day, can't recall exactly which species but it was a large flakey white fish with house made cucumber pickle, chanterelles, book chop, celery and fennel. This was excellent and such a surprising mix of flavors that was a perfect blend. For dessert I had their house made vanilla ice cream with local fruit and white chocolate ( more like a crispy medium cocoa chocolate) and this was also excellent. My husbands chocolate cake with plumb was also good, though a bit small. read more
