One thing I adore about Amsterdam is how much the fashionable people in this town strive to shop for their clothing responsibly. They are obsessed with flea markets (apparently the outstanding monthly flea market in Noord is the largest in the world!) and vintage shops are everywhere.
Lois jeans are made in Spain and - remarkably - they are mostly sustainable. They use recycled denim as often as possible, and they also source new denim from a vendor who uses zero water in the indigo process.
You can buy their jeans online, but nothing can replace trying them on in store in a relaxing, private manner, with their Jean expert there to advise you.
And once you've selected your pair(s), they bring in the tailor to make them simply perfect.
