They only had a small selection of the high socks and not the right size, but settled for a pair of sandals for 1.3€ - what a deal. Monki is really awesome. It is a Swedish brand, from the same owner as H&M. I would describe their style as; basics with a twist, edgy, hip and colourful. Shoes, bags, socks, underwear and very cool jewellery. Inside, the shop also looks really cool and the girls shopping here do as well. This place attracs a young hip,almost hipster crowd. The charming owner made me and my friends feel welcome, helped pick out a few items of clothing, including perfect "Amsterdam" gifts for my friends back in New York.
