They were the only embroidery shop in Boston willing to accommodate my request on such a short notice (right before closing at that!) and were very kind and helpful while doing so. I…read moream often quite satisfied with just a printed logo until seeing a well embroidered logo on someone else's apron for example. That material lustful covetousness that follows after...sighs. So I finally took some time to look up local businesses that do custom embroidery and found Graphic Connections. I spoke with the owner Paul in person one evening shortly after they were closed for the day. He was very friendly and insightful to their process for handling custom jobs for their customers including other local businesses. They run two shifts: sales and design by day, printing and embroidery by night. We spoke through some details and fees involved and went from there. Zapporah took care of all the different quotes and questions promptly. Dave handled the design and proofs prior to production. The night crew handled production and a phonecall was received when it was ready for pickup. Turnaround time after the proofs was really quick! Moment of truth was when I finally picked up the end product - a few aprons embroidered with logos as a gift to another local small business. They were beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I can't be any happier and look forward to working with them again in the future! Definitely recommend!!!

Basically everything that could go wrong did. I just went through all my email exchanges with this…read morecompany so I could faithfully document my insane experience with No Sweat: I get a couple initial quotes, for 3 different kinds of t-shirts. I tell him we decide to go with option 2. I send all files requested (high quality jpegs) as well as pictures of the shirts we made with the volunteer screen printer for reference regarding placement. I also send Hex codes so we can get the colors as close to correct as possible. Next contact: he asks for me to call in Amex. I call in. I ask to confirm that these are the nicer fabric. He says no and doesn't remember anything about that. (??) I forward him the invoice he sent me. He writes, "I hate mistakes but nipping them in the bud is a special kind of nice. AOK?" So i call him and give him the number. Next day he says the card didn't go through and I give it to him again. Card goes through... A week later he says he needs the PDF file (before he said a high quality jpeg would be fine, which is what I sent earlier). He says the printer he will use for this job requires a PDF. No prob, I convert and send pdfs on the same day at 6:45PM. I also resend all the instructions, including the images of the original shirts made with the volunteer. Get no confirmation of receipt. He asks again for a PDF file and tells me he can't do anything with an .ai file, and is getting pissy : "You're the 1st customer I've ever had (in 15 years!) that could generate an .ai file but wouldn't send me a simple pdf." I'm baffled by this because I have sent him a PDF and not an .ai file. When i ask him to send me the .ai file he thinks that I sent, he sends a DSA socialist image that i have never seen in my life (!!) and that apparently nearly made it on our t-shirts, lol. (We are a healthcare organization). I forward him the email I sent on the 11th, which had the necessary PDFs and all instructions. I do this politely after getting a lot of angry emails: "I'm not a salaried worker. I get paid for what I produce for my customers. Please respect my time." Hear nothing. On Sept 18, finally hear back. He says "Thanks, Stephanie. Not sure how that one got away from me. Here's the printer's proof. AOK?" So no apology for totally flipping out over his own mistake. He sends printer's proof with sizes of logo on front and back. Sept 19th: We email back, saying everything looks good except maybe we should make the logo on the back a tad smaller so it doesn't curve around. No response. Sept 21: It's getting close to the date that we agreed on - Sept 28 - and no word from him. So i poke and ask about just getting the last proof OK'ed. I say I just want to make sure we get them on Sep 28, as we agree. Sept 22: He sends me the OLD invoice- with the order for the basic tees, the mistake i caught the FIRST time, and should be obvious anyway because they had a different price on them. (AHHH!) He responds: "Well that was certainly a close one.." and has to move everything around (including using a new printshop in Vegas) because he was ABOUT to fulfill the order with the basic tees! (not the nice ones we paid extra for...) Sept 27: It's like 3 days before we're supposed to get the shirts for the event...and he sends the final proof. This proof looks different because it's with a different company, and it's the damn 3rd proof that we've gotten, so i sort of gloss over the fact that the orange looks a little lighter than the hex code I sent in. But the lettering is at least a shade of orange, and we are now 3 days out and don't have time to adjust things. He says it's going to cost an extra $50 for shipping (because of his screw up!) and I say we shouldn't have to pay extra to receive them on the day we agreed. The "orange" ends up turning out a BRIGHT yellow. If you send in a hex code that's a deep orange, you should get something at least CLOSE to that color, esp. since you have to trust the printer/designer because color can show up very differently on a proof from one computer to another. He clearly didn't send the color codes along to the printer. So in the end we didn't even get the product that we ordered. Basically I feel like I had to watch every damn interaction like a hawk because of all of his screw-ups. Also he was incredibly rude, patronizing to me because of my age (explicitly!), just really horrible to work with. We will never use again.

Additionally when we received our product, the transfer that they had done all the transfers had fuzz and lint stuck within the image. They said that it's "part of the material" which it's not... it's your poor quality control for not just doing the extra step in lint rolling the garnet before applying the transfer over. Even another customer standing next to me said he saw all the lint within the image of the shirt. One of the shirts the transfer you could see the image is folded over... I could've easily just saved my time and done it with a circuit machine. The crazy thing for the mistakes they made on their end. They will not refund you because there's nothing they can do on their end for that. If you wanted them to fix this. They would peel the transfer off the same shirt and reapply over it. If anyone is smart enough knows that this CAN NOT be done since it already ruins the garment itself. For someone who has been doing this for 11 years, it's sad for the quality of work that you produce as well as the way you treat your customers.

Many places in the area did not provide the type of service I was looking for, or they needed to have a minimum of pieces to be embroidered. I sent an inquiry through Yelp and received a response from them right away letting me know they are able to do it. I loved that they were flexible with when I am able to come in to drop the graduation stole - since I was in a rush, I went in right after work on the same day. They provided me with a quote on Yelp and I was very thrilled with it. When I dropped it off, they were very thorough with what they are able to do with their expertise. I was able to choose the font of the embroidery and the location of where I wanted everything. They were so accommodating despite how little time they had with this and were SO kind about it. After I told them how I wanted everything, they gave me an estimated date and I did not have to leave a deposit. The next day or so, the staff emailed me a draft before having a final approval. I was very pleased with it and gave her the final OK. Less than a week later, I received an email saying it was ready.... way before the estimated date which was even better. Words cannot describe what a great job they have done. I highly recommend coming to them because they really do a fabulous job with accommodation and the embroidery itself. This will be my go-to place for embroidery from now on.

He was responsive to my numerous emails, and when I finally had the chance to meet him to discuss my project, he was knowledgeable about his work and made me feel very comfortable handing over my first batch of t-shirts to him. And let's be serious - I had no time to feel anxious about what the finished product would be like; I met him on a Monday to drop off my shirts to be printed, and they were back in my hands on Wednesday! How did the product look, you ask? Nothing short of perfection! When he opened the box and showed me my newly printed t-shirts, I was absolutely stoked! They were better than I could've hoped for, and I have (too) high expectations. Needless to say, I will be back to Tully Ink once my first line launches and for every line of t-shirts following that!

A genuinely kind and hardworking woman who cares about the work that she does and making sure that it meets her clients' standards! I was able to get a shirt with a design printed on the front, back and sleeve for 34 dollars (small additional charge for oversized designs -- I think $2? -- which I was more than happy to pay!).
