I had the fish and chips and my wife had the "bikini chicken". My fish was overcooked. Better than undercooked of course, but not what I was expecting. Slaw was odd. Seemed like there were craisins in the slaw? It was much sweeter than it should be. Fries were good but no seasoning. Salad on the salad bar was a bit wilted. I will say I truly enjoyed the homemade dressing. It was thick and very tasty. Toppings were not as fresh as I am used to, but it was not bad. Pickled selection was nice. Don't order tap beer. Although they have a decent selection, it is warm and served in a non chilled glass. My wife enjoyed her chicken and her baked potato. If yo are not a tomato fan, probably ask for the. Hi Ken to not be on tomato slices. The Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. Probably should have asked for the dressing on the side. Tea was good. Just sweet enough to enjoy! Again, a must try just for the experience. Decor is older as the house is old but it adds character and we both enjoyed that. If the food was as good as we expected we may have given a 5 star. Maybe next time we try something else and give this place another try. If you are coming through the amazing town of Lebanon, drive through town, turn on Cadet Ct. and give Sammy B's a try.

The place looks like I'm walking into an old house with a foyer! We were hungry and got to order food immediately! Since it was the first time, we were not feeling too adventurous! The food arrived within 7 to 10 minutes, the Big Kahuna Tuna Sandwich was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, the sweet potato fries with that sweet cinnamon dusting were absolutely addictive, the fish and chips were hot and crispy, and the garden quesadillas were fresh and satisfying. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive without hovering, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. I highly recommend this historic Lebanon gem to anyone looking for a relaxed, delicious meal in a place that still feels like "old school" hospitality done right. I'm looking forward to being back again someday! Thank you for the memories!

But I have to say something about this ridiculous breakfast/lunch system. We sat down at 10:22 this morning. Our server tells us we have 8 minutes to order breakfast because at 10:30 they stop serving breakfast. Okay, no problem. So naturally I say, "Alright, we'll just order lunch." Nope. Apparently she can't put in a lunch order until 11:00. So from 10:30 to 11:00, we're just supposed to sit there and stare at each other. Seriously, what is this system? I'm sitting in a restaurant at 10:30 in the morning, hungry, surrounded by food, and apparently there is a 30-minute period where I am not legally allowed to order anything. It's 2026. We have AI, self-driving cars, phones that can translate languages in real time, and refrigerators that can tell us when we're out of milk. But Town Square Social apparently has a computer system that says: 10:29: "Would you like breakfast?" 10:30: "Absolutely not." 10:31: "Can I order lunch?" 10:31: "Don't get crazy." 11:00: "Okay, now you may eat." Again, I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic. This isn't a knock on the staff or the restaurant itself. But somebody needs to fix this stupid system. If I sit down at 10:22 and decide at 10:42 that I want lunch, I feel like we should have evolved enough as a society to make that happen. Until then, I guess I'll just stare at my wife for 30 minutes and contemplate my life choices. Great food. Great place. Absolutely ridiculous system.

I enjoyed the old-school ambiance and service was very good, as they frequently checked on us. The provided bread was some of the best bread I've ever had with a meal (up there with Red Lobster's addicting biscuits), with a cheesy type of crust on it! The salmon dip appetizer tasted pretty good but there were some huge chunks taking up the bowl making it tough to grab with the tortilla chips. I wasn't a fan of the cocktails. The Spring menu Spiked Iced Green tea tasted good but only made up a third of a glass, making it more of a shot than a cocktail. And my Old Fashioned was pretty watery. The spaghetti and meatballs tasted fine though it could have used a bit more sauce for the vermicelli and the meatballs were very dry. My friends spoke very highly of their blackened chicken dishes though. I can see why Demos' is a middle TN staple though I would want to try something else and avoid the cocktails next time I visit.

Patty Melt Perfection This isn't your average diner fare: a juicy beef patty is sandwiched between two grilled slices of marble rye, with gooey melted cheese and caramelized onions melding everything into one irresistible bite. The rye is perfectly crisp, the onions sweet, and the cheese--Swiss-style--oozes into every crevice. It's a classically rich and satisfying comfort sandwich. Fries That Shine Cumberland Canteen drives their fries home with crispy, golden perfection. These hand-cut spuds arrive piping hot, fluffy inside with just the right crunch outside. The classic duo complements each other: savory richness meets comforting crunch in every bite. Baked potato on the side served with a packet of sour cream. Definitely not what you expect from a $44 dollar plate. Even the roll was lack luster. The medium rare 10oz prime rib also came out over cooked and consisted of mostly fat. The au jus was the saving grace to this over cooked dry prime. The mac&cheese definitely appears to have come from premade vat. The fries were... unremarkable. Sadly this $105 meal will be our first and last at this establishment. The location for the new steakhouse here is fantastic. It could be SO GOOD but the quality bar needs to be raised. I tried to order the 14 oz prime rib on Friday at 6p. And they were out. Poor kitchen management. I switched to the 14 oz ribeye, medium rare. Had the creamed corn and green beans. Both sides were fine and tasty. My $52 ribeye? Medium to medium well is what came with a pink med rare marker. The problem? They cook this 3/4" thick ribeye so much so they can get presentable diamond grill marks that they completely overcook it. This was a choice grade at best and same for everyone else's filet that they ordered. Service was fantastic. Our waiter was Jeff and he's a treasure. Best part of the experience. Owner...Lebonites will pay for quality. This was comparable to something I'd get at Sizzler. Jeff saved this from getting a 2 star rating. Oh important to note. My friend said the his wine glass was warm to the touch like it just came out of the dishwasher. Then they served his wine in the hot glass. Good way to ruin that glass of wine.
