Food was good, steak was a little over cooked but over all good. Service was a little slow for a not busy day. Ambiance was fair, nothing was really outstanding. Might come back, but Aunt said no.

Went in on a dreary weeknight, and was seated immediately. My server was on the spot to take my drink order, which came back quickly. She came back and took my order, which was mildly customized, and got it in and back with no problems. The staff was friendly across the board, and the server took great care of me without being intrusive. The food quality was just right for me, and tasted great, and the price wasn't bad at all. I look forward to coming back for another tasty steak!

It took an hour to get our food (table of 9). Pre-COVID. Logan's was known for poor service. They closed temporarily and post-COVID it appears they picked up where they left off. I had the Porterhouse steak, sweet potato, and brocolli. The food took forever to come out and our server was slow to refill drinks. My steak passed the A1 test, (didn't need to add any). Wasn't the best but good, cooked to order (med rare) and the sides were good. Overall the food was ok but the service was sub-par.

The ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection and was seasoned perfectly also. In fact, this was the best restaurant steak I've had in a long time, perhaps the best ever!

I've been looking forward to eating here since I knew I was visiting. They used to be in AZ but closed. The rolls came out right when I sat down and I happily consumed the warm buttery babies. I got the chopped steak with green beans and cinnamon apples. All was yummy but the apples were a little too cinnamony for me. The bartender was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was dead for a Monday night so perfect that it wasn't too loud.

Well, the rolls were great! Wish I could say the same for the rest. The filet was overcooked and burned when I first received it. Sent it back to the kitchen and was then brought one that was medium. I had ordered medium-rare. The Spin Dip was bland but edible. Salad was okay but had several pieces of bad lettuce from where the mix wasn't cleaned. This was our second attempt since they reopened after the pandemic. It's not the Logan's we once loved.

What a terrible experience. Usually a chain steakhouse/roadhouse you really can't go wrong, but Logan's gets it all wrong. Service was... weird. No one was in the restaurant and it took awhile before we were acknowledged at the front door. Fine, it was early afternoon on a weekday. But then our server almost was whispering when interacting with us, and while I'm not a fan of a server who hovers and fills your water 10x, this was the total opposite. To the point the people sitting behind us had to yell across the dining room "Yoo-hoo!" because they had been waiting for god knows how long for their check (they looked finished when we were first seated). The food. GOD AWFUL. Oh my god. I can't say enough bad things. I was starving (and six months pregnant!) so the free rolls, acceptable. But in hindsight they were bland and chewy. The butter even tasted off, almost gritty. We ordered the fried pickles to start. WAY too salty. And looked like something you'd get at a fair set up in a strip mall parking lot. We ate them of course because it's friend pickles, it is what it is even at their worst. I order the filet mignon with a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. Caesar salad was OK. They didn't put the dressing on it, instead it was on the side. If I'm getting a Caesar salad at a steak place, I'd prefer it tossed together beforehand. But otherwise probably the most palatable thing I ordered. When my potato and steak came out... I was extremely disappointed. On top of the fact that the aloof server told us we had to cut into our steaks in front of her before she could walk away. It all just looked sad. Like something you'd get for dinner at your aunt's house who sucks at cooking. The filet tasted like cooked meat. No flavor, no juice, not tender (despite only getting it medium rare). And the outside edges were cooked well done making every portion of the steak just not enjoyable. I couldn't finish it. The potato was only loaded with sour cream and cheese. No chives or bacon bits like the average experience at a place like this. It's hard to mess up a hot potato and even this I couldn't finish. My husband ordered the surf and turf (see photo--LOL). The steak looked like a rubber child's toy. The shrimp looked congealed together. The rice was gross. He got it with the baked beans and corn, which were probably canned which is why they were OK instead of not edible. And the piece de resistance? The "crab cakes" it came with and the ramikan of orange mayo they tried to call "garlic dill sauce." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Not only do they look like deep fried hockey pucks, but they tasted like reformed fish sticks. God almighty! All covered in fried onions. Gag me. Never again.

What a great experience, Sat at the bar, Justin and Mindy were great. The food was awesome, OMG onion rings, best I have ever had! Burgers were spot on. However, the service, FANTASTIC, ON PAR, welcoming, just what we needed! What a wonderful relaxing dinner!

Yes, there are "trendy" restaurants downtown with a larger and rotating, seasonal, or farm-to-table menu. But Olde Towne Steak & Seafood is wonderful. The steak is always cooked to perfection, the shrimp in the Shrimp Cocktail are ENORMOUS, the stuffed mushrooms are (chef's kiss), their cocktails (especially dirty martinis) are wonderful, and their prime rib is as big as an infant's head. The interior could use a bit of an upgrade. I went there for my Senior prom in 1990 and although it is still cozy and inviting -especially fireside-the clean, classic decor could use a bit of a perking up. No minor issues like decor can obscure the wonderful service! A LOT of servers in this area consider waiting tables just a job to be done and gotten over with and customers a nuisance. Whether they truly feel it or not, the staff here present themselves as practicing their vocation. But none of this compares to the warmth and personal attention of Mrs. Hyon Harding, the owner. Mrs. Hyon always greets you like you are a welcome guest - not a dollar sign. She takes the time during each visit to personally visit each table to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and you are happy. And it is not just some token "drive by." You can tell she really does care and wants you to have a good experience. All of this beats truffle fries and Mac and cheese, rosemary mashed potatoes, and "locally foraged mushrooms" in my book and always will.

I literally had a conversation with my friend over what restaurants are worth reviewing, and we…read moreboth agreed we probably wouldn't review chain restaurants. But that lead me to looking up the Texas Roadhouse I recently went to and wow, the score does not match my experience here! We came with a big group since we were visiting family in Fredericksburg, and it is one of uncle's favorite restaurants, so our expectations were already pretty high. There was a fairly long wait, about 30 minutes I think? So we were pretty hungry at the end of it. Which was just as well, since there was a LOT of food to go around. The bread was so delicious we asked for seconds and even thirds. It came out really warm and the butter was delicous! And the blooming onion came out and was fried so crisply, each tendril of deliciously crusted onion came loose so easily, perfectly sized for dipping in the sauce, it was heavenly. I'm not sure what to say about the steak - really big, juicy, delicious, I'm pretty sure when it finally came out, I just stopped thinking. It was just a very raw experience, just me and food, the food and me, and we became one. Very quickly, the steak disappeared. There was more of it than I would eat in a normal meal, but that doesn't matter. It was sooo good. Generous portions, great food, and a great experience, would highly recommend.

Happily surprised that for memorial day weekend, they weren't super busy but we also arrived @ 4:45…read moreso maybe they got busier later. Food was good - sirloin and filet for me and hubs. Spinach dip and 2 'adult' drinks. I do have a few things that were a bit disappointing....I ordered their red sangria - to MY fault, I didn't specify what size...to our waitresses fault, she didn't ask yet brought me a tankard size glass(clearly the more expensive size). All foods, with the exception of dessert, came out really quickly. We had hardly touched the appetizer when r salads came and were about half way through those when the main course came. Table was loaded with dishes. Tried to finish up the salads before the steaks got cold. Again tho, food was good and cooked as ordered. Dessert took a bit longer to come out which was fine as we needed time to settle our stomachs. Overall a good experience, but we felt rushed and I definitely didn't need the tankard of sangria - a small size would have been plenty and honestly, it tasted like straight up fruit juice - no wine flavor at all. Hubs said his Jack & coke was good. We like Longhorn and will probably be back - we'll just be more mindful and definitely state what size of drinks we want. Also, and maybe it's just me or the waitress we had....while she was very friendly and accommodating, it felt like she was speaking to us as if we were toddlers. Kinda of a slow, sing-song voice and as if we couldn't comprehend what she was saying. I'd much rather be spoken to as the adults we are, instead of feeling like we're being spoken 'down' to.

Let me tell you about my new obsession! First, I'll give you a brief background to describe how…read morethis restaurant used to be. My husband & I liked Outback. We considered it to be about average & went occasionally. Fast forward to January 2026. Two weeks ago, we order from Outback to have out dinner delivered. The food was cold when we got it, but I don't really fault the restaurant for that. We live 8 miles away from the restaurant & the food was being delivered by a delivery service, so we knew that the person would be delivering other meals besides our own. Despite the food needing to be reheated, the taste was delicious. I got the Victoria Filet, which is what I order most often. The meat was incredibly tender & it was seasoned to perfection. I ordered a baked potato & garden salad along with the steak. They were also very good. I wrote review mentioning that the food was cold, but also said how delicious it was. The food was so noticeably better, that I thought it was important to mention that. I received a personal response from someone who I believed was the own. She apologized for the cold food, which was a completely unexpected & I thought, an incredibly nice thing to do. I found that to be really impressive. Our food was so delicious that the following week we decided to order from Outback again. We again ordered delivery, fully expecting that the food would be cold because of the distance & that we were not the only people receiving a delivery & that our food was likely to be in a car longer than it might ordinarily be. My husband wanted a Bloomin Onion. He'd wanted one the week before, but I expected it would arrive cold, soggy & unappetizing, so I ordered something else. The second time we ordered, I went ahead & ordered the Bloomin Onion & it arrived as expected. In my experience fried foods just never travel very well. They get cold & soggy & this bloomin Onion was no exception. I really do believe that there has to be a way to transport fried items & have them remain crispy after the trip. I'm thinking that delivering them in a paper bag might be part of a first step. Enclosing fried foods in plastic containers seems to cause them to become soggy because the container holds onto the the moisture that's produced by fried foods & allows it to condense onto the food, making it soggy. Of course, preventing leakage is the likely reason for using a plastic container in the first place. Maybe someone can come up with alternative packaging for fried foods. So, except for the Bloomin Onion, the food was again delicious, though cold. My husband got the salmon, which he said was really outstanding. I again got the Victoria Filet, which was every bit as good as it had been the week before. So, yesterday was my birthday & we decided to go out for dinner. I wanted more of that Outback steak, so we went to Outback Steakhouse. I ordered French Onion Soup as an appetizer. It was delicious. I'm fussy about French Onion Soup & this certainly met my expectations. It had an intense beef & onion flavor & was served with a perfect crock-sized crouton & was covered with what I believe was Gouda cheese. Dinner was my favorite Victoria Filet, in the 9 oz size so I could have half for dinner & the other half for lunch or dinner the following day. This is something I usually do when going to restaurants, order the larger size entree, if available, immediately split it in half & package it to take home & then enjoy the other half at the restaurant. Since I ordered the extra soup, half of that was packaged to go home, too. Everything was delicious. The soup was very good. The salad was crisp, fresh, cold & delicious with the Ranch dressing. The steak was seasoned & cooked to perfection, the baked potatoes with butter, as ordered. I didn't realize my husband had told the waitress that it was my birthday, but at the end of the meal, a bunch of waitresses & waiters sang happy birthday & brought me a hot fudge Sundae. I know a lot of restaurants do this to celebrate patrons, but it was unexpected & something I'd never experienced before. It was fun, and a little embarrassing, but nice. Other customers wished me a happy birthday as they left the restaurant while we were still eating. I was really nice. Our waitress was really outstanding. She was very sweet & very attentive & helpful throughout our meal. I asked her if they'd recently gotten a new cook & she confirmed they had. She said that the restaurant was under new management & that the owner did all of the cooking. The change is noticeable in a in a profoundly positive way. We've eaten Outback food three time in the last two weeks. It had probably been at least a year since we'd eaten here prior to this. I encourage everyone to go & experience the New Outback. It's fantastic & you're likely to be very glad you went! Thank you!

I haven't had a server be so attentive, personable and fun in a very long time. Drinks: We ordered two drinks, strawberry kiwi-rita and the piña koala, which were really good. The pineapple cocktail came in a martini glass which I was not expecting and no ice so be warned if that's not your cup of tea. I'd recommend the strawberry-kiwi-rita for a refreshing and not too sweet cocktail. 4/5 Food: We chose the shrimp for starters (a generous portion!) and probably shouldn't have because I forgot the portions here are quite generous in size. For main, I chose the salmon (which came with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sauce) which was done to perfection. For sides I chose the rice (recommended by Jen) and a salad. 9/10 Overall, I'd definitely come back again on a Sunday evening at 7pm because the place wasn't completely packed, the food arrived in good time, and our experience was great. 4.5 rounded up!
