He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.

However, this school year the driver was transferred and a NEW driver was assigned in September without notice or an introduction. In the beginning the bus was consistently 10-15 mins late. When bought to Vanessa's attention (owner) she mentioned he was new and still adjusting to the route, which is understandable. Now with the winter weather the driver is extremely late and unable to pick up my child as agreed - we are last pick up & only around the corner from their previous stop. They communicate via text asking to take the child to another location (around the corner where another child is being picked up at their door) 1-2 minutes before the driver arrives. I accommodated the requests a few times, but after the 3rd time I expressed that this requires my child to cross the street an not ideal. Recently I received another text asking to meet the driver at an alternate location. My child walked in the cold and snow and waited alone over 10 mins and the bus was a NO SHOW. No call or text from Twety indicating the bus status. When I called Vanessa, the owner, her response was abrasive and unprofessional. Basically the bus picked up at the other child house and since my child had not arrived he just left. When I asked if he's coming back, she responded "No. you have to take your child to school. The driver cannot come back". How rude and unprofessional! There's a safe matter to address here. The driver is late, picks up all other children but unable to make a turn so he leaves my child behind alone in the cold... That's the owner's solution? Unbelievable, we are talking about the safety of elementary school children and a paid service your not providing. Twety Bus has failed to provide the safe door-to-door pick up and drop off agreed upon. The way the last incident was handled was unsafe and unprofessional. Beware!

In the morning, I find that the express bus does not really save me time. The train is quicker. But if I want some good shut eye, occasionally I will take this bus in the morning (not often, though). The buses themselves are all upgraded now so they tell you the next stop, most have a map that tracks the stops, etc.

The bus stop on Liberty Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard is nasty everyday plasted with feces and other rubbish on this corner intersection. N.B.
