I wanted to like this place more. They have good games, their back room was spacious and their middle room was pretty nice. The front of the bar was PACKED and it was hard to get to the games in that room. This was probably because it was SWELTERING in there and the windows alleviated this in the front room. It was probably only 60 degrees out, though, so I don't know why the bar was so hot. The bar itself was a major bottleneck. It was super hard to get up there to get a drink. They had a couple waitresses circling the bar to get drink orders, but since you're moving around, it's hard to utilize them. read more

Great Games. Well Maintained! Decent Beer selection, full bar. The games are pay for and on the bright side they're not tokens... but you still have to pay ($.25-$.75). No food served, however you can order from local places for delivery. Cool spot and while not my favorite of the "Beer Arcade" locations in town, a solid option with some great classic games. It does have Killer Queen, which I didn't get a chance to play, but it was pretty exciting! There were large crowds around it the whole night. Looks like a fun! read more

This place is really awesome. It's awesome because the people who work and run there really love video games. There's always a rotation of games and a lot of very unique ones. They have Killer Queen there, which is a 10 player game only playable in a scant few locations around the country. There's a lot of pinball. There's fine drinks. There's usually an event, like for a release of the Art of Atari book, in which they had some of the actual paintings used for old Atari cartridge boxes. Very cool. read more

So I've been coming to Logan Arcade for a few years now and I have to say it is one of the best bars or arcades in Chicago for pinball (the video games are good to!) They have a pretty good selection of beers on tap and specialty drinks with some decent specials throughout the week. Unfortunately it does cost you quarters to play but I rarely ever see machines down and out of service, and honestly I've been to most of the beercades in the city and when the games are free you get what you pay for! Killer Queen is cool and it's great they have it but I'm a pinball junky and the vibe, look, and feel of the place is just great, plus it's in a great neighborhood with plenty of other stuff going on and things to do. read more

Great idea. Excellent execution. Around 15 draft beers. Penty of flippers. God job. read more

Oh my, this place is awesome! It was pretty great before, with the shop that sold little kitschy things and the arcade in the back. I LOVE the new decor- it looks wonderful! I think signs clarifying which machines are free should be a bit more prominent or at least explained upon arrival. My friend and I walked around for a while smashing buttons on the different machines (we are spoiled by HQ) before we noticed the small "Free Play" signs on certain machines. Other than that, it's basically perfect. read more

Old video games are hard to keep in good shape and I don't know how they accomplish this. Of course you may come across a couple of games where the controller sticks, but in general everything works really well. They are also really good about reimbursing if you just get ripped off and they have a couple of new games as well. I also love that the games take quarters rather than tokens or some other form making it so that you don't feel obligated to keep playing and can often result in you plopping down some extra cash. The beer selection is also really good. The last time I went they even had a pretty tasty hard kombucha on draft. I didn't even know such a thing existed. Regular visits for tamale and pizza people can keep you well feed while you're here as well. read more

This place is so boring. Yeah sure they have arcade games but holy f##k is the crowd a buzz kill

I discovered this hidden gem about a month ago. Not only is the bar fully stocked and the tap filled with a great selection, but the set up is pretty cool too. Pinball machines coat the front and back rooms while the center room is filled with some of the absolute classics... Definitely a good atmosphere, and the music is okay. But the ultimate reason this place beats all the rest, is of course the !!!FREE!!! Super Mario video game set up all the way in back. You can catch me there for hours. Nothing like going back in time with a cold IPA in your hand. Definitely my kind of place.. read more

Cool arcade with lots of pinball machines. Most of them are $.50. They also have a good amount of arcade games and a great selection of beers. Support your local arcade and play in the tournaments they regularly hold here read more

We've been here a couple of times. Fun. Today though, this place smelled like a litter box after a week of not scooping with a bunch of cats. read more

Love this bar! great drink selection - they even have a good variety sodas for the non drinkers. so many great arcade games, TONS of pinball, great music playing and its big enough it didnt feel crowded. read more

Gave this place a not too kind review a little while back and have felt bad ever since. The arcade is fun, the pinball is great. The craft beer selection is choice I'm sure, but if you're not on the up and up deciding on a drink can be a little daunting. The bartenders aren't quick on suggestions either unfortunately. I've only been there while it was slow, but there's a lot of dudes about. Mostly hogging the bar and not playing pinball. :p It would be nice to see some ladies behind the bar to even things out. Edit: Went while it was busy. Much better. Lots more ladies both behind the bar and all around. Now if only the women's bathroom stalls weren't pitch black. read more

This place is great and is just another spot that makes me love Chicago a little more. Nestled in a charming old building, Logan Arcade can easily be missed, but do yourself a favor and stop inside. There are 25 or so pinball machines plus old school arcade/Nintendo games placed among the 3 rooms. Check their FB for special events and daily happy hour (I think it's M-F 3-6pm), as there's a full bar with plenty of brews on tap. Big ups to them for having most of the games working, I've been to quite a few barcades where everything is falling apart. Overall, a great way to spend an afternoon in Logan Square for both casual and serious pinballers (there's such a thing, right?!). read more

I didn't even realize this was a bar until I walked in. I brought a bag of quarters and was ready to spend every last one. And then booze happened. And craft beer. The staff is extremely friendly and the only game that ate my money was Frogger :'( but the Simpsons game and plethora of pinball machines totally made up for it. Can't wait to dig into my change jar and go back! read more

This is my favourite place in Logan. All the machines are usually in great condition, they have a fantastic assortment too including plenty of classic pinball and imported arcade machines. When people visit me I bring them here and it's always a hit! Low prices, good beer selection and the option to bring your own food, theres seriously not a single thing I could complain about! Never change you guys, love ya!! read more

Want to love this place but you have to pay for all the games and they charge you $4-10 a drink no way sorry one time stop hope the proprietors head my warning I don't mind spending but it a rip off for the money either free games or super cheap drinks they'll be closed soon. read more

Great place , tons of pinball from classics to the latest sterns. All games were in great shape and working well, most games only .50!! Great value. Also a nice selection of beers and drinks . Highly recommended if I am ever back in Chicago again I will be back! read more

This is my place to unwind and play! The staff is great, and the games are spot on! There's almost always some kind of event or special happening. If you love pinball, Wednesdays is free pinball (big selling point). They also have arcade leagues that encourage new players! This is my spot, rain or shine! read more

Logan is my go-to for great drinks, friendly faces, well-maintained games, and some of the smoothest pinball tables in the city. They have rad events and the atmosphere is very positive and inclusive. I'm generally not good at chatting with strangers, but I've made a ton of friends thanks to this place. read more

Great selection of well maintained pinball machines and plenty of beers on tap to help you forget how many quarters you're feeding into the machines. read more

This bar is so much fun! Lots of great games and lots of different brews on tap. I think it'd be impossible to have a bad time.

This place is the best. I always have fun, and it has a positive vibe. Games are well kept, and issues with games are remedied (and refunded) ASAP. The bartenders work hard, and are kind to even the most trying of customers. Most importantly - I feel SAFE here as a lady. I know that folks have my back. Logan Arcade is one of my favorite places in Chicago. read more

AWESOME PLACE!!! This place is MY FAVORITE of the currently 5 barcades in business in Chicago. If I could,I would give them 10 stars for their pinball offerings of 5 decades of pure pinball bliss. If only I lived nearby, they would see me 4 or more times each week! Please patronize this place and tell them the pins are AWESOME! read more

This place is an adult game land! Crazy amount of pinball machines and aracde games. Good amount of craft beers, non alcoholic sodas (I don't want to drink every time I go to a bar) and high ball cocktails. The games can get a little pricey (quarters not tokens) if you suck like I do. Groups aren't ideal but the bar itself is very appealing. Their guest djs are definitely a HUGE plus! Bartenders hold it down tight. Personable and funny. read more

Came here to start off a night of celebrating my little sister's 21st birthday. How can you go wrong with a barcade? I'm a fan of the ones we have in L.A, and I had high hopes for you, Chi-town. The people here are super friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back. Drinks here were fairly priced and the bartender was chill. Also an extra star for having my favorite, The Simpsons Arcade Game, which is the easiest way to gain my business at any establishment. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town. read more

Love this barcade. Not too crowded (like Emporium) and has an interesting selection of arcade games that continues to grow day by day. Very friendly environment in a more humble part of the Bucktown neighborhood. read more

Some of the Killer Queen pros/ regulars are extremely condescending or patronizing if they feel you are not a worthy enough opponent. Sorry, but I have a 45 hour a week job and other pursuits to attend to that don't afford me the time to get really good at a particular video game. My friends and I just want to take 15 minutes and casually dick around with a game that we find fun but are by no means experts in but that is too much to ask of the other patrons. On top of this, the service at the bar blows. Took me over 10 minutes to order a canned beer. Ill give them a second star for their decent arcade game selection. read more

Wow so glad to see the doors of the notorious 'Logan Hardware' reopen. Yes, it is now a huge arcade bar with awesome craft beers and a solid whiskey selection. While there is no ATM to get money for the games the do have a quarter machine. HUGE plus for me since I live down the street and can break a 10 on laundry day and grab a beer! Dude checking IDs at the door said, "ATM coming soon...hopefully." Anyways I am enjoying this place a lot and loving my Bells Two Hearted Ale and a well poured Jack & Coke that was under 15 bucks with tip read more

What a cool place. I chatted with the owner and he's a really cool guy. The game selection is really great, not just a bunch of BS games, but actually a really good curated selection. Lots of drinks, lots of space, lots of arcade and pinball. And pretty much everything is a quarter; holy crap. So glad we found this spot on our trip. read more

It was cool to see many of the games we non-millenials played in the 80's, notably Centipede and Burgertime. I was sad they didn't have Frogger though, the one game I wanted to play. I liked the kitsch factor. The drinks here SUCKED though, stick to beer. None of the 5 drinks on their simple menu looked appealing and newsflash they WEREN'T. The spicy Bloody Mary was probably their best offer and it came with a mini Miller High Life (nice touch and different, I liked that). I really didn't feel like I was in Chicago, I almost forgot. At times I felt like I was in a suburban Dave and Busters (with a few hipsters added in and minus kids). Unless you are really into video games, I see no need to return. Easy street parking about a block or 2 away. read more

The Simpson's comic book store owner-looking bouncer wouldn't let my 49 year old buddy into the bar because he didn't have his ID on him. Told us it was the law to carry an ID at all times. Really? I could see if he was close to 30 or maybe even 40 but almost 50 with a full grey beard? Come on. I asked him if he was sure it was the law and not just their policy since my buddy was obviously over 21 and he claimed any cop will tell you it's the law to carry an ID on you at all times. What a idiot. read more

Love Logan Arcade. What a great, classic, cool space and a killer selection of vintage pinball and arcade games. Its so not pretentious and honestly, its just a great time. Awesome beer and booze selection, and such a fun time. I'll see you at Space Invaders. And Excitebike. And honing my pinball skills...and having a blast! Check it out, great place on the east side of Logan Square! read more

Best arcade bar in town. I personally like that you have to pay to play. Games are only a quarter and you get that classic feel of dropping change in the slots. Vibe is chill and retro, crowd is cool, there's a decent selection of drinks, and the games available to play are awesome. Dig it. read more

Spacious and inviting with plenty of good ol' arcade games and pinball machines. Bartender was super friendly and accomodating. La Fin Du Monde on tap!!!!!! read more

Another beer arcade?! That's cool with me... The selection of games was pretty good although the place isn't as big as some other nearby beer arcades. The beer selection is solid and they had $2 off cans special on the Sunday afternoon we went in. The games are a quarter per play. Overall it's a fun place to spend a few hours to drink and game. read more

Fab game selection...reminiscent games I played growing up - Burgertime, Millipede, Frogger, Qbert, the list goes on. Multiple pinball machines as we'll. Beer selection is quite good as are the cocktails. read more

The chillest of arcade bars. They really don't seem to care if you drink or play or linger at tables. They've always tossed me a quarter of a machine eats mine and are actually always ready to take a drink order...unlike a lot of other bars. Fun games and usually at least one pinball machine is freeplay (not sure if intentional). I feel like I could show up here and read the paper for an hour and no one would bat an eye. read more
