It's in a quiet part of the central business district but only a couple of blocks away from all the action if you want it. Living here during Oktoberfest and Taste of Cincinnati is basically the best thing imaginable. Don't feel like using a portable toilet? Just quickly go home. It's just one street down from the party! You can access the Skywalk relatively quickly after being outside for merely a block and a half on super cold or rainy days, there's a cheap parking lot right next to it that your suburb friends can park in if they want to come down and not feed a meter, and you can easily walk to the park and river within minutes. The staff are amazing. Michele, the landlord, is always very helpful and responds to my emails for maintenance orders or general questions within the hour when I contact her. The guy in charge of maintenance, Steve, is super nice and talks to me whenever I see him and always fixes any issues I have. Val, the lady in charge of keeping the building fresh as clean does a fantastic job and is so incredibly nice whenever I see her. Other pluses: new, comfortable lounge with wifi and full kitchen and free coffee and cable, security at night, brilliant southern views if you're on that side of the building, and a nice workout room. In summary, this place is awesome and I love it here. I recommend it to anyone interested in living in the CBD.

Brand new, freshly remodeled, granite counter tops throughout, stainless steel appliances, washer and dry IN UNIT, custom walk in closet! This place is awesome. Yeah it was a little bit on the small side but for one person it was perfect. Located right across from Western and Southern and P&G it's a great place. Two blocks from Great American Ball Park and US Bank Arena. Nothing beats walking out your front door, walking a block and getting cheap cheap tickets to all the major sporting events. Within walking distance to the Banks, Fountain Square, and OTR. Lytle Park is less than a block away. Easy on and off to the expressways. If I had to do it over again I would choose Lytle Tower 10 out of 10 times. Other good thing is their excellent ancillary staff. Steve, the jack of all trades, is always willing to help out even if it's not in his job description. There's security at the front door every night and I feel like I'm at my grandma's because the cleaning lady keeps this place spotless.

After my old roommate moved out, I was paying rent by myself and keeping to myself without any issues. When they found out I was living alone, they wanted the spare key back which was an oversight on my part so I gladly turned it in. Then the building manager, Betsy Gerhandstein, started harassing me with calls and emails and texts to my personal phone and started saying there were noise complaints about me which was weird because my next door neighbor said I was very quiet and never bothered him. There was another tenant across the hall who often entertained several people and played loud music so I suspected the noise complaints were probably getting blamed on me instead for some reason. They were also doing some renovations and may have just wanted to update my unit and increase the rent for another tenant since I was in one of the older and cheaper units. I'm really not sure what the actual problem was. Betsy texted me to tell me SHE chose to not renew my lease with no explanation as to why so I started to look into other apartments. Then they put a note on my door saying I could either move out immediately or stop making noise so I moved out and turned in my keys since I had no control over the noise that was getting blamed on me and needed to have a safe place to live. I was locked out of the rental portal, building, and parking garage as I no longer lived there and no longer had keys to the building. I emailed the Marissa Masters at the management office to let her know about everything that happened and she replied a couple times then stopped so I assumed they were aware of everything Betsy had said and done and the matter was dropped. Months later, I found out that they put me into collections for the last month left in my lease after I left, but they had given it to a collecting agency with typos in my email address and phone number so they had no way to contact me about it and I only knew when I was denied my student loans in my final year of my Master's program. I had to get a second job to pay my tuition while in full-time graduate clinical rotations and even had to set up a go-fund me to avoid taking a semester off. I didn't even know they expected me to pay rent through the lease or I would've at least kept using my parking spot there to visit downtown and visit the rooftop view again. I reported it as fraud but am still not able to take out loans in time to pay tuition and the whole ordeal has affected my mental health and quality of life much more than any apartment building should be allowed. Shame on this building and the whole management team for targeting me and threatening my education, housing security, and career. I promise you it is not worth the location or view to deal with this type of people owning the place where you live.

This place has historic charm with well kept treasures built into every apartment. We moved in a…read morewhile back and fell in love with the beauty of each room, the hardwood floors, built in cabinets and gorgeous ceilings. The clientele is as diverse as the neighborhood, but it is mostly quiet and homey. Friendly neighbors mixed with the surroundings make for a great place to hang your hat at night. The main entrance has a gorgeous marble staircase and original stained glass that makes you feel really regal living here. I also enjoy the side stair cases, which have been well kept and we were told they were first used by maids which gives you a sense of times gone by. The only thing to keep in mind is it is an old building, built in 1897, and comes with original fixtures and outlets which can be overwhelmed at times and blow a fuse. Keep some extra on hand and enjoy the history you are now a part of.

Any issues I may have had (which were very few) they helped to address and correct if not the same day, then the next day including weekends. The maintenance crew who I got to know over time were always on point and busy. My apartment itself was kept up very well. I must admit I have some bias towards the building since I live there. I had lived downtown about 11 years before I bought a place, I was not going to leave downtwon, so was waiting for an acceptable place before I bought something. I was looking forward bigger building with some of the admenties a larger building has. Mainly, some of the admenties that an apartment building has. I order online a fair amount and like having someone at the front door who can accept packages for me. Widmer cleaners stop by our building each workday and you can get a bag from them and put your dry cleaning bag on the outside of your door and 3 days later if will reappear cleanned downstairs. The night personnel will pick it up from your door. Other people I know downtown refer to Park Place as the downtown suburbs, I understand the comparison, being on 5th street it is still in the heart of downtown, but this area is very quiet compared to the rest of downtown. Also you do not have any other condos/apartmetns directly across from your windows. Another great thing about the building is that it is a very social building. Our Condo owners association even has a social committee. I gained another appreciation of this building when I went on vacation this year with some friends of mine who live in a large condo building in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, they had to get friends of their outside their building to take care of their plants, while they were gone.. I was able to get my next door neighbour to do it and if she had not been available, there was other people in my building who I could have asked.

The Historic District is lined with trees, small green spaces, and a mix of Italianate, French Empire, and Victorian-era buildings. These apartments have been newly erected, and as such, boast modern interiors. You won't find exposed bricks or lofty ceilings here. Roebling Row caters to the traditional box-style apartment with a spacious great room, bedrooms with large closets, and laundry in every unit. Some even come with balconies that overlook the beautiful Cincinnati skyline and Roebling Suspension Bridge. Parking is somewhat of a problem. There is a small lot for residents in the rear of the building, but its filled by early evening. Across the street is metered parking which is free between 5:00pm and 9:00am. This is fine if you work first shift, but you could find yourself moving your car around if you're on a different schedule. Amenities include a fitness center, sundeck, and storage on every floor. There are also some swanky perks like an ice maker on the fridge, a built-in microwave, two car garages, and organic produce delivery. During the summer, a farmer's market sets up shop on the weekends right around the corner. Roebling Row is also right across the street from some delicious local pubs like Keystone, Blinkers, and Molly Malone's. All of this, of course, comes with a price tag. If it's in your budget, Roebling Row is a fantastic and gorgeous place to live. RENT: 1 Bedroom: $1000 / month 2 Bedrooms: $1300 - $1800 / month

Split the approximately $1300/mo in rent and you've got yourself a location that's walking distance from Mainstrasse, the Licking River Historic District, The Banks, Paul Brown, Great American Ballpark, Sawyer Point, and the rest of Downtown. #2: Parking can be a bit rough at times. The positive here is that RR offers free off-street parking in the private lot behind the building. The negative is that the lot is often filled up by 8pm. Plenty of free off-street parking is available between 5pm and 9am. #3: While the exterior of the building may look cool and contemporary, the interiors of the units are your standard-fare apartments, replete with beige carpet and white walls. It's not a bad thing, just think of it as a blank canvas with which to work with. #4: The general age of the residents is closer to 145 than to 25. I wish I were exaggerating, but yeesh, there is definitely a lack of people my age in this building. Then again, maybe they're just avoiding me. #5: The staff and maintenance are 98% excellent. I haven't had any personal complaints about them, but I've heard a few stories from other residents. Nothing big, just small stuff. If you've got a roommate, I can't recommend this place enough, especially with the potential to have the Roebling Bridge, Ascent, and the upcoming Riverfront Park just outside your door!

I love being so close to downtown Cincinnati and within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Covington. There are two very nice club rooms/lounge areas that can be reserved for events or parties, a huge gym that includes a sauna, pet spa, coffee/espresso machine with custom drinks, Luxer One locker package system, Tide lockers for your dry cleaning, I mean the list just goes on and on. The building was completely renovated recently offers studios , and 1 and 2 bedroom units- all of which are spacious, with high ceilings and large decks that offer spectacular views. I love that the building includes many amenities; community terrace with firepit, pet friendly, a huge fitness facility, and 24/7 attended security in the lobby. There are pro's and con's to this place, just like any other and I'll lay out the good the bad and the ugly. Queen's Tower is in East Price Hill. If you had told me that a year or so ago and expected me to move in there.. I'd say you were crazy. There was NO way I'd live in that area. Now, it's a different story. This place is up and coming and they are doing some heavy preservation to restore the city. It has been renamed, "The Incline District." The history is amazing and unexpected. I'm learning more every day. East Price Hill was a very prominent area at one time, and the Queen's Tower was home to some wealthy people when it was first built. Over the years after the days of the Incline, it started to show it's age and some deterioration has set in. The building consists of both renters and condo owners, and even in the short time I've lived there I can see the place improving daily. The people who live here are extremely friendly and love this old building, and it shows. Flowers have been planted and cared for by the residents, and it just feels like home to me. When we first drove up I had mixed feelings about the place. It's an outdated high rise with a 4 star restaurant in the lower level. I half expected to see Tom Selleck walk out, Magnum PI style. When you walk to the side of the building you can see the city, and the pool. As we went in we were greeted by a friendly door man who escorted us into the lobby to wait for the rental agent. The agent in an investor/real estate agent. He is a nice person but is severely overworked and forgets everything. Frustrating.. I wasn't impressed at first, but when we stepped off the elevators, the halls were nicely decorated unlike many high rise communities I've been in. it is brightly lit, and the doors are all well maintained. When we entered the apartment it was almost night time and the view took my breath away. I was SOLD as soon as I saw it. The City in all it's beauty was right outside the window that spans across the whole living room. I'd never seen our skyline like this before. WOW! We just moved in a few months ago, and the biggest issues we've had is that the condo community has different rules than the investors that have purchased many of the condos to rent out. We had horrible problems moving in. The apartment was not clean, and someone still has stuff in our storage unit. A month after we moved in, we got a call saying they never received our first months rent. (I paid it with the deposit..) It was one headache after another.. BUT still even after all that, I would definitely recommend the place. The neighbors can't be beat. I have never met so many friendly and helpful people in one community, even when I worked in the industry. All my friends love the view, and it changes every day. There is nothing cooler than waking up to a sunrise, or watching the rain come in on top of our hill. When we get hungry we can run downstairs for a bite to eat at Primavista and downtown is only a cab ride away. The residents, door men & staff of Primavista all know us by name. I love this place and am proud to call it my home.
