On 12/27/25 around 1:30pm my 4 years old son and I were shopping at the Primark in Willow Grove…read moreMall in Willow Grove PA. I picked up a few items from the men clothing section and made my way to the children section on the second floor. I placed all of my selected items my reusable shopping bag that I entered into the store with. As my son and I made our way down the escalator to the first floor I was approached by a man asking me to step to the side so he could speak with me. I stepped to side of the escalator and the man said "we observed you stuffing things in your bag and if you just give me the things I won't arrest you." I was floored by this accusation. I explained to him I am using a reusable shopping bag and I am still shopping. Once done I will pay for my items. He replied "this is what management is saying and we do not use those bags we have the carts or our shopping bags." I replied I was not aware that I could not use my own bag to hold my items and transferred my items to a Primark bag. After this unpleasant encounter I made my way to the register. As I placed my items on the counter I asked the cashier if I could speak with a manager. The cashier asked for the reason of my request and I informed him I had just been accused of stealing. The cashier called for a manager and apologized to me. The cashier inquired as to who accused me of stealing. As I look up I see the guy who accused me of stealing standing at the end of area leading to registers. He quickly ducked out of sight when he noticed me pointing at him. The manager Bryan arrived and I shared with him what happened. He apologized and claimed it was a misunderstanding. I also shared I was visiting from NC. I expressed how this was embarrassing and I never left the store to be accused of stealing. For the man who approached me to assume I was stealing because I was using my own shopping bag was unacceptable and low. There are two sets of register in store however only set of registers was open and this was on the first floor. There is an entrance/exit on the second floor in the children section where I was shopping before being approached on the escalator. Again I never left the store or passed any point of purchase area before being approached. This was not a misunderstanding it was profiling situation. I was threatened with being arrested and embarrassed

This is an odd store…read more Some people that come here are looking to spend less on clothes that may be on sale due to the clothing being irregular (manufacturing defects). My dad was in the clothing industry for over twenty-five years and the last time he brought me here for shopping I am pretty sure I got a black sweatshirt on deep discount and it ended up being five or ten bucks. My dad said meh, if you get a few wears out of it then the sweatshirt won't owe you anything. Something to that effect anyway. I came here recently when trying to get a dress shirt for an interview that wouldn't be too pricey. I only found one that was a slim fit and ended up returning it along with a six dollar tie that was made out of recycled waste? It was made out of something recycled, any who, I do not plan on coming back but I do see it is typically busy at the cash register so I think this store may be more tailored for the pre-teen, younger crowd on attracting them to buy fad items. As always people SYOY!!

Okay, I know this is a weird first line to describe a comic book store but this sits next to one of…read morethe most amazing corner store deli's I have ever been to. Please enjoy a monster packed sandwich at 7's Deli next door if you come here. On to the review of the comic shop...This place has a lot going for it, graphic novels rack with 30% off, tee-shirts, wall comic books (expensive sought after comic books that are fun to look at on the wall) and what appears to be a large back issue stock. I was killing some time and only bought a comic book oversized sleeve with a backing to protect the first appearance of Shadow Moon Premiere issue 23. I recommend you stop in as they have everything from Alf put together figures to very nice pieces of art work detailing comic book icons. Very glad this store isn't too far away but if I am being honest I buy 99% of my comics online. Maybe time I branch out and give the retail store some of my bucks, what is it they say, spread the wealth....or the remaining few dollars we have on disposable income : ) As always people SYOY!!!

What can I say; it's my favorite local comic book shop. Been going here for years but I'm on a…read moreYelp review kick so I can leave this place out! Great selection of toys, comics (current issues line the walls, lots of back issues, and lots of wall books for serious collectors), a lot of trades (which are really well organized which is something that I think a lot of comic shops don't do nearly as well as they should - these guys do!). They also have a nice selection of Hot Toys and statues, as well as tshirts. What puts this place over the edge? The staff. This is not your stereotypical comic shop staff (which, to be fair, is not as common nowadays as when I was a kid) where the clerks would look at anyone who came in that wasn't a regular as an outsider to be shunned. These guys make all feel welcome, even those who know nothing of these nerdly delights. I've seen them help moms search for something for their kids as intently as regulars looking for a new book to try. The best thing I can relay, though, is a time I went with my son - we walked in, were greeted as we did, and went about perusing the store. As we walked around, one of the clerks came over to us, asked if it was ok to give something to my son, and gave him a little plastic Flash ring. It wasn't fancy but it was a touching gesture that made me and my son feel welcome, even moreso than we already had. So if you're looking for a comic book shop, this is your place!

It almost borders the Willow Grove Park Mall, so depending on what direction you're coming from, traffic can be an issue. They have a decent amount of parking that's shared with several of the building's tenants, and the shop has two entrances. Retro toys are the shops primary specialty and they are located everywhere, but have good organization. Higher value items are located behind glass and the staff are helpful if you want to view something. Comics are in well-organized long boxes with most being older books, and they have a wall book selection. They don't carry new pull comics. Some value long boxes were available. They also carry a selection of video games and trading cards. Toy & Comic Heaven is arguably underrated for the organization and value in its selection. It's absolutely worth visiting.

His prices are unbeatable, he's closed on Mondays and will only be in Tuesday on Thanksgiving week. Before that one of a kind toy you got for Christmas as a kid, favorite comic book, or any original Star Wars figure from the original movies are gone I recommend you either give him a call or drop by before you are forced to buy his incredibly priced toys online plus shipping and sometimes not even getting what you paid for get there ASAP! I have surgery on Tuesday, but I am going there directly after and buying a couple hundred dollars worth of his merchandise that's actually worth at least double that! He has a bin full of Star Wars figures and I mean original good shape for $11 each and I've been picking up at least two or three every single time and every time I've sold them to friends for at least $20 and then one case I bought a beautiful Luke Skywalker for a great price and someone at my brothers garage offered me $100 for it! I sold the action figure I went back and got that one again and two more! God bless and good luck James , you've always been a very cool dude!

This is a super clean and organized thrift store which I love and the prices are pretty reasonable. They're not like unbelievably cheap, but they're not overpriced by any means. There was a lot of staff working as well but they do have self checkouts which is kind of an odd thing at a thrift store. This location is definitely leaps and bounds better than the one in North Wales - that one is dirty - in comparison, empty and all of the product they did have was garbage and overpriced. This location is significantly better and I'll have to keep it in mind for when I am in the area. I also signed up for their rewards and got half off the one item I purchased - yay !

I brought a big donation, was thanked and given a coupon for that as usual, but then inside was this odd lack of stuff. Spent the whole visit thinking maybe they were in a donation slump or purged excess stock or something but it was weird. Later that day I got a half off email for that store saying it was closing permanently (?). Can't find confirmation online but in retrospect the empty shelves make sense now. Really bummed because this was a go to spot for me, but unfortunately I think it's closing.
