I have done escape rooms before and found this one to be one of the more clever scenarios with creative and challenging 'puzzles' that engaged everyone. This might be the best escape room I have ever done. Every room was designed amazingly and were very aesthetically pleasing. The puzzles in each room were the perfect difficult, not too easy that you could finish instantly but also not too hard that you would never figure them out. Everything had such a high attention to detail and we ended up having so much fun. I wish they had even more rooms so I could keep doing them. We ended up setting a new record on one of the rooms and I would highly recommend everyone to go visit. They also have a cool gift shop with gadgets and gizmos in the front. Our family of 4 -- two parents and two college-aged kids -- did the Rat Room and completed the challenge with about 5 minutes remaining. This particular room would be good for a family with tween or teen kids as well. There were a number of puzzles in this room that were easy to understand and complete, which an older kid could do. This specific room might be too easy for a group of adults with lots of escape room experience, but it was great for us -- challenging without being stressful. Felicia, the game master, was friendly and helpful and answered our questions without giving anything away. At no point did we feel completely lost. All the equipment was in good working order, with no glitches. The location was about a 20 minute drive from the Coligny Plaza area of Hilton Head. We especially appreciated having a private room and not having to be paired up with strangers. read more

We came here with family over thanksgiving weekend, and had a really great time. We travel often, and usually visit the nearest escape room at the location we are at, so we have a fairly diverse experience. This one was by far one of the best. It was family friendly, had a great gift shop, and a excellent staff. The inn keeper room was awesome! read more

Great escape room! We had a blast solving the clues. Not too easy and not so tough that we got frustrated.

We have experienced The Inncreeper and Cell Block D. The facility was great! You can hear the group on the other side very easily but still a great place. We were literally a step away from escaping from Inncreeper! No big deal. It was fun! And Cell Block D was my favorite here. We had fun and I feel it wasnt super hard if you pay attention to what the Game Masters give you hints for at the beginning and if you pay attention to what is in the room! Loved it. read more

Amazing room!! We visited from Florida and booked a room at the last minute... I was so happy we did this was one of the best rooms I have ever done! We picked The Rat Pack and it was a great room!! While visiting my mom over Christmas, my family decided to try Trapped as it had just opened and was close to my Mom's house. My husband and I have done a good number of escape rooms and this one was great! We did the "Innkeeper" (the murder motel mystery) and it was top notch. There were multiple rooms (won't give too much away), a storyline that was interesting but basic enough to make sense in a short time frame, and quite a few things that I hadn't seen in other rooms. The biggest difference about Trapped and other room escape companies is that when you book for your group, you get to play with just your group (no awkward forced playing with people that you don't know). I really liked this and hope that it works economically for them because it does make it more fun when you know all the people you are with. The quizmaster also gave a good bit of clues to keep the game going when we got stalled without just giving us the answers. Overall, it was really well done (but I would recommend going with a group of 3-5 to have enough brains but not too many people because some spaces are small)! read more

So much fun! We went on a rainy day with family and did the Missing Bitzy room. This was my first escape room experience and I highly recommend Trapped Bluffton! We did the InnKeeper room. There were so many positives to Trapped....It was well put together, had some really great features, had really great owners, multiple rooms, etc. But, I would have to say this room is perfect for people who fall somewhere in-between beginners and experts. If finding clues/keys is what you love about escape rooms, then this is the room for you. If you find that solving puzzles is your favorite part, I would say probably skip this room. Its primarily comprised of finding numbers and inputting codes rather than actually solving puzzles. read more
