I drove to this place from a bit of a distance. When I arrived at around 12:20 pm (on Thursday) it was closed with a sign on the door saying they would be back at 1:20 pm (for one hour lunch). I decided to run another errand in the area until they reopened. I called back at around 1:45 pm just to make sure they were open. Someone answered the phone and said the person at the store is at lunch from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. I told the guy a sign on the door already said they weren't to lunch one hour earlier. He dismissed what I said and repeated the person will return at 2:30 pm. I told him that I will go to another locksmith and he said okay (he didn't care). Incredible . . . he could have at least said "I'm sorry." Very unprofessional and terrible way to run business. Will never go here and don't recommend anyone else does either. read more

I left my key in my mother-in-law's front door by accident and when I went to retrieve it, it was GONE! Perhaps the postal carrier or a kind neighbor had seen and taken it for safety or perhaps something more nefarious was afoot... I could not take the chance. I removed the cylinder from the lock-set and found Locks Etc. on YELP, thank goodness he was nearby. I was a bit skeptical when I drove in front of the shop, it's TINY, barely wider than the front door. The 'lobby' is spacious, about 6'X3', with a counter displaying locks and related security paraphernalia, there is an assortment of artful key blanks to make your keyring dance with color and design and a workspace just large enough to house one locksmith with racks of drawers and a bench. I unwrapped my lock works and Diego, or was it Eric, said, "you want it re-keyed?" He took the cylinder and had the job done in about 3 minutes. I asked for a few extra keys and they were cut in a minute more. There were two more people waiting in line in the time I was there, but I'm sure they were helped and on their way before I got back home. One thing, the lock was a bit sticky before I took it to him, but now it works like butter, smooth and secure. I cannot recommend this shop any higher, they're fast and reasonable, SUPERB! read more

In the past I'd gone to Home Depot to have my keys copied, because I usually enjoy wandering around giant warehouse stores to browse. But if you've been to Home Depot to get keys copied you know how hard it can be sometimes to get an employee to help you.
