I bought a safe from Lockerdown several years ago for my Ford F150. It has since been in three other Fords and is just as functional as day one. Sorry that it doesn't fit in my Expedition and more sorry they are out of business. They were real helpful when I needed it. Don't know where to look for a replacement of this quality. -UPDATE- (still 2 stars) I received the console safe on 08/21/2023. I'm ultimately disappointed in the design for this one. A "safe" generally is a self-contained, reinforced box. The last safe I bought from them (2016 Tundra) was just that; a steel box with plates on all sides that bolted into the bottom frame. It was great. The description for this item on the website says : "Safe covers the whole console from the bottom to just under the lip of the console." What I waited 3 months for is a beautifully crafted top frame, lid, and latch from a safe. They also provide small plates that cover a partial area on either side, but that's really just to support the lid and keep it in place. Self tapping screws go into the console's plastic base for those... I understand a drop-in design wasn't possible for this truck if you want to retain the whole console volume. But for f%*k's sake, provide a plate for the back side of the console at least. Pop off the rear vent trim panel, and a thin plastic wall separates the cruel world from your valuables. You'd be inside that safe in minutes. Now that I just told you how to break into my console, read on. Maybe I'm being too harsh, and maybe I just don't like the design for this truck because I was spoiled with a full-fledged box safe previously. I don't know, but I do know there is ALWAYS a way to make something better. This, my friends, is one of those circumstances. Update the description and pictures of this safe, Lock'er Down. Show your customers what they are paying for. Also, tell them how long they're going to wait for it with certainty. read more

This company screwed everyone that ever bought an upgraded electric keyboard lock on their safe. There is no way to get the factory reset since the company is out of business. It's one thing to go out of business, it happens- it's another to screw ALL your former customers with no mention of how to unlock their safe or obtain the factory reset. read more

Ordered my Safe six weeks ago. After one month I called and was told that it was running late from the fabricator. Called two weeks later and was told they were waiting on powder coating. I am going to give them one more week and I will be canceling my order and buying from someone else. read more

I called the 800 number and someone answered that seemed like the owner. I was asking which one would fit my truck since there was two models of the same year. He told me to text him photos of my console and he responded back quickly. I ordered the same day (Apr 30) but never got an order confirmation. They didn't hesitate to take my money though. I texted that same number back on May 2 and never got a response on why my order confirmation never came. Needless to say it's 3 weeks later and I have to file a dispute with my CC. Such a shame they are still in business and basically conning people. Learned my lesson and hopefully this helps you before you go through the headache. read more

Didn't happen. They promptly took my money, but can't seem to follow through with their end of the deal. It's been three weeks now and nothing. I must give credit where credit's due. These guys know their stuff. Recently my vehicle was stolen and taken for a joyride,... thankfully it was recovered. But inside my Tacoma was a lockerdown safe and the bastards tried like hell to break it open and failed. Obviously my tools were stolen but my custom sig from sinner mass and Rolex were protected. This company is absolutely horrible to deal with,placed my order and they'll take your money with no problem, but that's about it,waited over a month to hear nothing,you have to actually call them to see if your order is actually ever going to shipped,also make sure you call because they won't respond to emails,and also if you do actually talk to someone it's probably not going to be truthful, was told they had my order on the shelf we'll get that shipped out this week,turns out that was a lie,called to see if it was shipped and was told it takes 4-6 weeks to ship a order,nowhere did they say that or let you know,I only had my order shipped once I said I want a refund, and if you do want a refund good luck they won't respond to your emails,all in all dealing with this company was horrible and I still don't even have the product I ordered, only took a month and a half to ship something that was on the shelf. read more

HORRIBLE customer service! We ordered a underseat lock box for a customer of our. We were told that it would arrive on Friday the December 17th. I called the Wednesday before and was told that it was still good for that delivery date. It didn't arrive. I called on Saturday to see what happened. I spoke with an "owner", who was not the owner, and she stated that her employee didn't make the order. She said that she would make it that day and take it herself to get it shipped out. We should have it no later than Tuesday. I called on Monday to get a tracking number. The owner, I don't know if she was the owner or not, got ugly pretty quick. I asked if she had a tracking number yet, and she said that it hasn't been made yet. I tried to ask her what happened, and explain to her what I had been told, and she cut me off. I tried to ask her another question, and she cut me off. I tried to tell her what I had been told, and she raised her voice and cut me off. I couldn't get and information from her because I couldn't finish ANYTHING that I was saying. I finally had to hang up because she was just yelling in the phone. We won't EVER use this company again, or recommend them to ANYONE! I don't normally write bad reviews because people have bad days, and it is a crazy time of year, but she went above and beyond to be a jerk, and it was a week of run around, and no product was ever made. read more

I was looking for a better way to secure my pistol while driving to and from the gun range. Since I have an SUV there was no trunk to lock it in if I made a stop along the way. I found myself hesitant to stop or do errands with a weapon in the vehicle, a thief could just break a window. After considerable research I found Lock'er Down had a custom designed console safe that was exactly what I needed. I placed the order online on a weekend, and Desiree from Lock'er Down called me on Monday to confirm the make of my vehicle. It was shipped out immediately and the Fed Ex tracking automatically e-mailed me every step of the way. Very nice! The safe arrived on Thursday, extremely well packaged. Desiree even included a nice personalized note and a rubber coin holder for the coins she somehow knew were in my console :-). Installation was simple and fairly easy. I looked online for a demo video but did not find one for my 2006 GMC Yukon SLT, they had some for newer vehicles and other models. I decided I'd take some pictures as I was installing it to show how well it fits. This safe is STURDY and thick. The fit is perfect and I am more than pleased with how it came out. The bottom bolts down so it's not moving. Anyone with a 2003 thru 2006 GM vehicle with the center console should buy one of these, even if you don't use it for a weapon you can lock anything in this safe. Overall an excellent experience with these folks, excellent product and exceptional service. read more
