The door and unit seemed clean and in good condition. Access to the property is pretty nice - just country roads, so no driving a huge truck around city streets. They have many many ways to pay your bill, so there's no excuse for not paying. Terms of the lease seemed pretty standard for a storage place. I'll update this review when I move out, or before perhaps...

Containers are clean inside and freshly painted outside. Arela (in the office) and John (our container delivery guy) and Ryan (manager) were all a pleasure to deal with. All were very accommodating and Brekke prices were better than PODS! Will use them again in a heartbeat. Locally owned and professional - doesn't get much better than that.

They stayed late to make it happen, moved a couple things around without compromising service to their other customers. I really want to like this business. It sounded like such a great service, but I have had nothing…read morebut headaches in dealing with them. Everyone I talked to on the phone (and I talked to many employees, come multiple time) was very friendly and tried to be helpful for the most part, but the service has been absolutely terrible! First, I never received a phone call ahead of time (that I was told I would get) to inventory my things before the pick-up. This wasn't a huge deal, but just the first of increasingly troubling problems. On the day they came to pick-up my items, the movers had two crates that would contain much less than the space I had ordered. They said they would take what they could fit in there. When I called Closetbox, they told me it was ok and the movers would just put the rest of my stuff in empty spaces in the truck and then put it in a crate at the warehouse....again not a huge problem, but unnecessary stress. The movers ended up getting everything except a table that they said was too big to fit in a crate. Nowhere on the website does it say there is a restriction to length of an item (in this case, a table); only weight restrictions. Upset, but believing the movers, I decided to let them leave without it and try to find a different solution for my table. I did call the next business day to complain about this though, since there is nothing on the website. The company told me that they can take bigger items, but just don't put them in the crates. This would have been wonderful information for the mover to know or to follow. They then said they would send out another truck the next day to pick up the table. Next day came and went with no one picking my table up. When I called, they apologized that no one had called me to tell me that they didn't actually have the man power to do it that day. The next available time was 10 days from them. I was leaving the state and had to be out of my house two days from then! They finally found a way to pick up the table the morning I had to be out of my house. If only my problems where over then.....Then I was getting emails with crazy quotes on what the price would be for storage and getting my things out of storage (like 3 times my quoted price). Finally, I got the business people to give me an accurate quote. Then today my husband was supposed to go to the warehouse and load up all of our stuff on a moving truck; something I double checked with the company ahead of time to make sure we were all lined up for. When he got there, the warehouse said they were not expecting him until tomorrow, and there was nothing they could do. When called, Closetbox tried to work something out with the warehouse but was unsuccessful. So my husband wasted his day and is now delayed in getting us moved into our house for a day. While Closetbox did refund me some of our money for our earlier problems and have offered to pay for a hotel, labor to help my husband pack the truck, and the truck itself, this does not erase the headache this process has been! I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone I know. :(
