Hi all, I don't…read morenormally post, and certainly not something negative, but when nearly all of my belonging are no longer usable, with no apology, I feel like other people might want to know to avoid the same thing. Please don't use Great house storage and if your stuff is there it very well could be covered in mouse poop. I put all a majority of my things there while my house was for sale and I have to throw a majority of it away because it is covered in rodent feces. The people there do not care, told me I could mitigate their rodent issue for them, and are charging me until I can get the rest of my stuff that isn't ruined. Just wanted to let you all know in case you need to store anything that you care about.

So we sent them an email stating we would be out on the first of month. We took our camper out camping and we forgot the cement bottom for the jack. So we stopped in to get it and our code didn't work. Luckily someone who is an employee went through with a remote and let us in. We talked to her she claimed that they had a new employee and she must have been mistaken with the dates. But when we went around to get our cement block another camper was in our spot. This is considered stealing.....

Buyers beware! They don't know what they're doing. They quoted me a low-ball estimate, then…read morecharged me over $400 more. They failed to listen to me. Their truck was too small for all my belongings (a 2 bedroom apartment's worth). They failed to take things I specifically asked for, but took things I told them not to (my roommate's stuff). At my new place, they arranged my bedroom furniture in a way that prevented me from being able to reach my bedside table, or hang up my clothes in the closet. They couldn't put my bed together because they left a piece of the bed frame behind. I had to hire a local handyman to come and rearrange my bedroom and put my bed together. Then I had to rent a minivan to get the rest of my stuff. I asked them to come back and pack the van. They still couldn't fit everything, then when I got home and unpacked the van, I realized that they had failed to put any of the backseats down flat. They also charged me nearly $200 just to load up the van, which took them all of 35 minutes. It took me 4 days to get all my stuff moved. Don't be fooled! They say that they cater to senior citizens, but they took advantage of me.

I was very impressed with this storage unit. Their facility is very clean and well maintained. The…read moreclimate controlled units were very nice. The only thing that bothered me is when we were moving out and we had a crew of 5 men loading up 6 units and one of them needed to use the restroom and the woman in the office took an attitude because she seemed to feel he stayed in the bathroom too long. All of the young men were nice, clean, and very well mannered. She acted as if they had no right to use the restroom. That upset me a bit because you don't know what people are dealing with and a little kindness goes a long way. Other than that our experience there was pleasant.
