Lock Doctor - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

highly recommend- fixed a vintage car's trunk lock while we waited. Price was good too!

Friendly, fast response, great service and reasonable prices! Highly recommend the Lock Doc!

He was great! Showed up on time. Very cordial and explained everything really well. We recently purchased a house and needed it rekeyed. We also had electronic locks we needed a manual override for and he knew just what to do. He was done within an hour. He was able to provide on site service which was important to me. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends. He even put up with my chickens jumping into his truck. Lol read more

Needed a locksmith quickly with some "special" circumstances we had with a very bad renter. So glad we had this bad experience turn great! Thank you! read more

*IF I COULD ZERO STARS* I bought a new car key for my 2013 car back on September 27th, 2023. I have four buttons lock, unlock, remote start, and panic button. My first product contained unlock, lock, remote start, and back hatch button, and panic. This key did not work with the follow commands, remote start or panic button. I had contact him September 30th, 2023 because my key would not follow those commands. We met back up on October 3, 2023, he made me another key and I am having the same issue. He told me he did have a key with the GM sign. Which I don't have a problem with because I have had many people with after market keys or after market remote start that works just fine. He told me that it's could be my cars problem. So I went home and tested it with my original key, and it was not my card problem. It remote started with no problem. The moral of the story is do not go to this key, he does not stand behind his product and was extremely rude with my mother who tried to help me resolve it. He offered to order a gem key but he then proceeded to say he would charge me another 154$ on top of what I already paid.I will never recommend this company to anyone and he's lost my business and the other people I have told about him. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY AT ALL VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I am disappointed with my experience and frustrated that the key I purchased does not work properly. It is unacceptable that the seller did not take responsibility for the faulty product and instead blamed it on my car. I expected better customer service and support from this company. The fact that he was rude to my mother only further solidifies my decision never to return. I will be sharing my negative experience with others to ensure they do not make the same mistake. read more

This guy knows his stuff! Within 20 seconds of starting to crack the lock, he was in! AMAZING! Then in the next 12 to 15 min, he figured the tumbler and made a key. I drove from Moscow ID to have Lock Dr. take care of this for me, because when I searched the Spokane area for top-rated locksmiths, Lock Doctor popped-up 1st! I very highly recommend this guy, best value, no wasted time! THANKS! read more

The lock doctor is amazing! We bought a new house and had 5 different locks! He came very quickly after our call and finished changing them all in record time! He reneged them all so now we only need one key to open everything! Highly recommend this company! read more

After buying a new house we messaged the lock doctor on yelp regarding rekeying our locks. His prices and reviews were good so we set up an appointment. He was on time, super friendly and fast! The dead bolt on the front door was difficult to unlock. I mentioned this to him and that I thought it would need to be replaced. He said it was likely he could fix it and save us the money of replacing. He did manage to fix it and has won all my future business because of his honest business practices!! We did not have a key for the keypad lock and he was able to make us new keys for that and key all the other locks to be all the same key! This man is a magician in my book! Our bill was very fair I felt and all together I think he was only here 20-30 minutes for 5 locks! I wouldn't have gotten back from the hardware store with new locks in that time frame! read more

The Doctor answered my call in the morning and showed up promptly for a same day afternoon appointment to rekey my house. He was professional, friendly, thorough and took to his work. His prices were very reasonable. No question, if you need a doctor for your locks, this is your go to guy! read more
