About 3 years or so, we had a truck stolen, the keys were lost, Al's Locksmith was able to enter the truck, make us a set of keys, and get us rolling in a reasonable time frame. Recently I bought 3 new exterior door handles/locks combination, to replace my 30 plus years old hard use with 5 boys, and they were rattling and loose. I took them to Al's, they keyed handles 2 to match 1 of the three, in a fairly short time. I thought the cost on the truck was very reasonable considering they sent 2 men a a truck. I thought the price on rekeying the 2 handles to match the 3rd was reasonable, service was as just before closing, but took care of me with good service, and making all locks worked perfectly smoothly. read more

Alex was efficient and very fairly priced for my Range Rover FOB programming. I Would definitely recommend him!

Quick service and very reasonable prices. I'm really appreciative of their customer service.

Update to my previous review outstanding customer service I went with a problem they said they could fix but when I got there they said they couldn't. Went home, owner called and had someone come to my house to fix it no charge. Took em about 5 min or less. Very impressed !!! I'm happy now!!! read more

Super disappointing experience on 4/10/26. I called previously to ask if they would program an after-market auto key and was assured it would be no problem. When I arrived, I was told I should ask my husband or grandson (I'm not that old) to open my existing key fob for me to find out its part number, as if I couldn't do this on my own. Then when I confirmed that my key I brought in was the one that would work, i was told it wouldn't without them doing even a basic transponder scan (no cost, 30 second test) to verify their claim. When I asked if they would test it, they shook their head like it was impossible and and I was told to buy a key from them instead. If you like being regarded as a stupid female, go for it, not for me. read more

Best of the Best, I'd give them a 10 if I could. Great, fast and professional service. I also got an extra spare key cut to have in my wallet. This is the fastest service ever. read more

Al's Locksmith is top notch! I was out of town on a business trip and realized I didn't zip up my luggage where I had my keys tucked away. The dealership said that I would need to tow the car to the dealership. Then they would have to send my ignition in for a few days to get a precise key made. I didn't like that response so I called a different dealership closer to the Spokane Airport. They referred me To Al. I was able to communicate with him Via text. Provide him with a few details and by the time I was off my flight my key was made ready for me to drive home. Best experience I could have possibly had considering the circumstances! read more

My motorcycle dealer recommended Al's to get a special key cut I purchased from the dealer. Al's was quick and the key worked. What more do you need. read more

Alex and Dimitri are the best and quickest locksmiths around town. Without a doubt, I recommend them. They're both extremely reliable. We use them every week to get keys for auction cars, and they will try absolutely everything to make sure we get the keys we need made. Alex ALWAYS checks his voice-mail and returns my phone calls as soon as he's got a moment! He's also very fair on his prices. If you ever need anything locksmith related, I recommend Al's locksmith 100%!! read more

Paul was excellent, determined to fix the problem. He went above and beyond to fix. Even checked fuses! Definitely recommend.

Amazing customer service. Their honesty saved me money and time and for the first time in years I have a perfectly functioning key fob. I highly recommend Al's...they'll treat you right! read more

Very professional and was able to come the very next day. Re-Keyed 5 doors and fixed 3 locks quickly and very reasonable pricing.

Great service! I read the reviews before placing my call to Al's Locksmith, and fully expected to schedule an appointment for a later date. But they were able to squeeze me in later, in the same day! My technician was friendly and courteous, and answered all of my questions. I had a stubborn lock, but he was able to get it working in no time. He even used his drill to quickly uproot an ill-placed door stop attached to the floor, something I wanted to do but hadn't gotten around to yet. It was just a thoughtful thing to do! I will be putting Al's Locksmith in my 'Contacts' folder for any further "locking" needs! read more

Had a rekeying job and some adjustments of a lockset. Ben showed up on time and knocked the job out with quality work. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. read more

Alex was the most professional, prompt and helpful person performing a service of any kind that I have had. He made new keys for our car in blistering heat. My car had some antennae issues that made the process longer than usual. But, he ended up getting everything done in spite of the weather and my car. Very thankful. read more

Al's Locksmith has been out to our a house a couple of times over the last few years to work on or install locks and we have been extremely pleased with the work they've done at a fair price. In particular Ben is the one that has come out on each occasion and he always takes the time to make sure the job is done right. read more

My house was broken into and I needed to rekey my smart front door lock. I googled locksmiths and found Als in a list of top three in Spokane. I called immediately and within three hours they were at my home. The cost was exactly as quoted over the phone. The young locksmith, Dmetri was excellent. He was personable, polite, informed me on the process as he worked as I am not mechanically inclined. He also made great recommendations about other areas I needed to try and make more secure that I had not thought of. I highly recommend this supplier. The whole process made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Kudos to Al's and Dmetri. read more

I called this place on Monday June 6th, explained my situation, daughter lost keys, but vehicle has a new ignition in it. I heard about Al's Locksmith from my boss, who had a good experience with them. My car keys had gotten really worn down to the point that I could only open one door on my car and couldn't get into the trunk at all. Alex gave me a really good quote, came out, cut me two new keys, explained exactly what the problem had been, and gave advice on how to prevent it happening again. Very friendly, very FAST, I definitely will recommend them to anyone who needs locksmith services. read more

My son's key was stuck in his driver's side door. I called many other locksmiths. One said they would send a technician and it would cost between $300-500 to fix the problem. They never showed. It was a blessing in disguise. Al's showed up when they said and fixed the problem quickly and at a VERY REASONABLE price. I'm am very grateful for their service! read more

Al's Locksmith - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

never wrote a review untill this- talked to alex about a key blank for an antique fire call box i had. sent photos to him. he called back next day to tell me that he did not have the key but the most economical way to getting a replacement was what he had found out on e-bay. business's these days do-not perform this quality type of customer service at all. i owned and operated a successful body-shop for over 40 years and i am extremely well versed with business' and vendors of all types from experience from my own. this company knows how to do good business despite the fact that there was no money or gain for them in this transaction- but to do a little research on their own time and have the courtesy to call back to help me tells me one thing. that they are interested in helping people which is the core of any "good" business. so to all you wannabe business owners pay attention to this because if you want to be successful -this is the most important factor in a business-- " take care of your customers because if you don't- someone else will. thanks alex read more

Left a message 30 minutes before they opened early Friday morning with keys locked in the car. They called me back 5 minutes before they opened, technician was at my house within the hour, within 3 minutes, car was opened. Amazing service and quick responsiveness. Very personable and timely. Thanks so much!!!! read more

I needed keys and ketone for my car that others had told me were dealer only. Call Alex and he was there right away. I got an extra key and had my fobs fixed and reprogrammed in 20 minutes at my house for a quarter of what the dealer quoted. Honest guy! read more

I do not feel that I got what I requested from them. Deadbolt repair lasted less than 2 months!!! Then had to call them again and got billed again for the same thing!!! I did ask to do the job low cost since it is a rental property, but I still wanted it done well and correctly!! I would have gladly paid more for a job well done the first time around!! Not the case since I had to call them back in less than 2 months!! Needless to say, I will be replacing their cheap knob which did not lock for a front door knob??!! And only repaired the deadbolt which only lasted less than 2 months!! I do not recommend this place at all!!!! read more

I called this business based solely on the reviews that I had seen here and they were not wrong. I had purchased an old pickup and the previous owner told me that the key was finicky and did not work all of the time. After trying to get it to work for myself and wasting 20 minutes, I decided to contact a locksmith. I requested a quote from a couple of other places and one of them still has not gotten back to me to re-key the door locks of my truck. (They will not be getting a recommendation). I looked up here and found Al's and requested a quote. The next morning I had a message and got a phone call and I was given a high and low of what it would cost, but Alex offered a suggestion before I had him come out first. Ultimately I needed the re-key. I asked Alex to come to my work where we could get it done there, He was prompt and on time. Actually he was early and I was coming back in from a quick run for food. I parked my truck and started to finagle with the existing key, and after about 10 minutes in the rain, I told him to not waste his time and just pull the lock. And once he started, I barely had time to get back to my desk before he called saying that he was done. I know that I could have ordered locks with new keys for about $40.00, but I would have had to screw with it. Alex gave me the bill and it was a whopping $76 for 3 keys that work. I smiled, paid the man, and shook his hand. That is cheap compared to the cost of new locks, the time to put them in, and the frustration involved. Thank you Sir Well Played read more

Ben from Alex's team came out and re-keyed locks on a house I just purchased in Spokane. He finished the job correctly, fixed a broken door knob and touched up a bunch of other door/lock stuff at no cost. When running late for my scheduled appointment, he called ahead to let me know which is a simple thing, but shows his company's customer service level. I highly recommend these guys. And somehow, they charged the same or less than their competitors. read more

So I needed a spare key. I called both local Ford dealers an the lowest price I could find was $254.00 + tax. Finally a buddy turned me onto Al's locksmith. it cost far below 50% less. I called they came the same day to my work, and made me a genuine Ford key. Every function button works perfectly. I highly recommend these guys. read more

I was very impressed with Al's Locksmith. I had lost my chipped key for my Lexus RX350. The dealer wanted $410 + tax ($445.67) to replace, cut, and program a new key. Al's Locksmith quoted me $175 and I thought this was a great deal. When he arrived, he made my key and only charged me $120 + tax ($130.44) because I had a copy already (my wife's key). Not only did he make a key that works great from remote lock, remote unlock, and remote hatch opening, but the key works great for manually unlocking the doors and starts the car up just fine. He could have stuck with his original quote of $175 and I would have been happy, but since he was honest and did the right thing, I can be no less than thoroughly impressed. I would recommend Al's Locksmith to anyone who needs quality service, skilled locksmithing, integrity & honesty, and all of that at a great price. read more

Thank you for saving me!! Was worried it was going to cost an arm and a leg but nope very inexpensive and the guy was awesome too.

I had a different locksmith quote me $300-$400 to change my ignition so I didn't let him change it. He spent over an hour trying to get the keys that was stuck in my ignition out and didn't even finish the job. Al's put in a new ignition and made me keys and pulled another key out of my girlfriends car and charged me about the same as the creeps that couldn't even get the key out of my ignition. I highly recommend Al's read more

Called Alex at 3PM with a lost key to my car and he made me his last stop of the day, saving my butt! Two keys & two clickers all for less than half what the dealership was going to charge me. Quick response and a quick and reasonably priced fix!! He's our go-to in my family! read more

Had my purse stolen as well as truck keys. Decided to call AL's Locksmith because they had great reviews that said prices were decent. I called 8:30am and made my appointment for 3pm since he said he had a busy morning. At 3:15pm I call because no one has shown up and I was told "oh sorry I never put you on the schedule only wrote your appointment down on a note pad". As I understand mistakes can be made we decided on a later appointment at 4pm. I called again and it took me three tries to get ahold of him at 4:20pm because he has still not shown, he laughs as he replies " yeah he is super close he will be there soon ". After three tries again at 4:40pm I called again because he still has not shown I get ahold of him finally to get the answer for him still not being there " yes he's coming he's 2 minutes away" but answered in a rude tone. He finally arrived at 4:55. I was very polite to the man the showed up and asked if he was the owner and he said no you were talking to him the whole time. I did not appreciate the humor he found in his employee not showing at the agreed time and I did not appreciate the tone he used after I had to call the third time because once again he did not show up on the agreed time. The job finally got done but was not at all don't in a professional way. read more
