I would not recommend Intricate Lock and Key. Their response time is extremely slow. It shouldn't take 1-2 days just to let a customer know whether they can come out and schedule a job. If you value your time and need prompt service, I'd suggest looking for another locksmith who communicates quickly and respects their customers' time. read more

Val came right to my driveway to get the job done. Unfortunately the key I was sent via mail order was not the right key! BUT Val had the one I needed with him. Buying the key from him and getting it cut and paired with my vehicle was the same cost as the other key and it is an OEM key. It works perfect. Val seemed to be a courteous, friendly, nice guy. I am going to have him take a look at replacing our home locks soon! read more

Val was professional and courteous. He not only programmed a key fob for me in record time, but also fixed an error code that the dealer didn't take the time to troubleshoot. Great quality and awesome customer service. Thanks! read more

I have used this company several times. I cannot say enough about how professional and knowledgeable they are! Today My daughter's battery was dead and her key does not unlock the door. Intricate Lock and Key came and opened the car, made new keys for her that work in the ignition and door. Not only that but they went above and beyond and got her car jump started for her. I highly recommend this company. Other services that she's had out said they couldn't make a new key. Intricate Lock and Key got it done!!! read more

Val was wonderful to work with. I own a rental in Spokane and needed emergency help with locks. He came out the same day that I called him and took care of all of our needs. read more

Ok, Val knows what he's doing. If you ever need a mobile locksmith in the Spokane or Spokane Valley area for laser cut keys, safe services, key programming, or just locked your keys in your trunk, he's the guy. I had been trying to retrieve my keys from my trunk - unsuccessfully - to the point of complete frustration until he showed up. He definitely knows his stuff. Unfortunately, I have had extensive experience with locksmiths. They usually tend to arrive late and leave you with the suspicious feeling that you just got taken for a ride. Val is not like this. He arrived sooner than promised, worked efficiently without hesitation once we agreed on a plan and the price, even though it immediately started raining and my tank of a car was armed at the time. The best of locksmith experiences is to be had with Intricate Lock and Key. I almost wish I could have another locksmith-worthy event in the near future... almost. Val will be my go-to guy from now on. read more

Val saved me a repair fortune. I needed a specialized laser cut key for a Toyota proximity fob that was no longer working. Val arrived for an at home appointment 10 minutes early. Upon explaining AutoNation Toyota's $260 diagnosis that I would need a new ECM (computer) which would be over &2,500 for the fob to again work. It was that or a kind of convoluted, secret hand shake sequence each time I needed to start it. Val suggested we try a refurbished (basically deprogrammed) one he had and offered it for $200. He was confident it would work but it was a no refund situation should it not because of the programming required. It worked. I was thrilled. Highly recommended. read more

I called Intricate Lock and Key to have my front door re-keyed to match my other two doors. Val was professional, on time, and did a great job! Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a locksmith. read more

I have a very bad habit of locking my keys in the car! The first time I ever did, I called for help from my dad who recommended to call Val. At the time Val was on vacation but still managed to help by sending one of his other guys, I assume. He came after hours.. in not more than 20 minuets and he used his tools to unlock the car in like less than a minute! I was impressed and knew who to call if it did happen again. And, not surprisingly, it happened again so I called Val and he came quickly, unlocked the car, AND made me a spare key right on the spot with a magnetic box to attach somewhere on the outside of my car. Who knew this was even a thing! I think it's so awesome and he's awesome. Both times the price was so cheap and left me happy. I would totally recommend if you lock your keys in! read more

Val does great work, he was timely, affordable, and offered me a variety of options that ended up saving me money. I've used him twice now and figured I'd better write a review since his service is consistently excellent. read more

Dealer quoted me $1800 to fix 3 locks in my 4 runner. Val came out yesterday after special ordering the parts and did it for $756. He was very professional and I was grateful for the fact that I didn't have to leave the comfort of my own home. If I ever have another lock issue, I know who to call! read more

Great service and quality work. What more can you ask for in a locksmith? Owner was very understanding of a complex situation I was dealing with and demonstrated flexibility and fairness. Would highly recommend! read more

After a couple of message conversations with local locksmiths, we found Val from Intricate Lock and Key was the most affordable on a Saturday. He didn't charge us for a weekend appt. He called about 45 min. prior to the appt. to confirm and let us know how his schedule was running for that day. He was friendly, professional and prepared for what we needed and then some. He accommodated our requests and charged what he quoted with a couple upgrades we requested. It has been our experience that timing and confirmation can be an issue, and Val broke the mold. No issues, no problems, no BS. We HiGHly recommend Intricate Lock & Key. If you have similar quotes, we can assure you Val's friendly service will ease the experience. Thanks Val! read more
