Thank you Mika for coming over super late to fix my lock! Felt super bad, but I leave for Napa soon and I really needed to fix this lock before leaving. I did something stupid to my lock. Very stupid. But anyway. I called 3-4 locksmiths. Some were WAY overpriced and some didn't call me back. I actually googled the solution before calling so that if a Locksmith came over (my cylinder wasn't working)- if they didn't have the tool - they shouldn't come at all since they'd just charge you a fee. Mika immediately knew he had the tools and confirmed he did. Folks - I highly recommend in general you research what you need before dropping money on a locksmith. I yelped msged Mika really late I think a Saturday night, he wrote back fairly quickly. He called me once I sent him my info/situation and asked me what day/time worked best since I wasn't in that big of a hurry (I could still get in and out of my condo while locking it electronically) Fast forward... Fixed my lock within 15 mins. Very personable guy to talk to during the process of fixing my lock. I wasn't alone in my condo, but even if I were, I'd have felt comfortable. Our HOA needed a coded locking system for our pool. Mika sent me numerous lock types via text all on his own Tim until we finally agreed on ok then after he installed it it took quite a bit of time to program and he also had to make 2-3 extra trips when we ran into some issues but he came right away and not once did he charge us for additional trips the system serves all our needs, he didn't try to sell us more than we needed and Mika will now be the only locksmith we ever call when the need arises. Check around, most locksmiths soak you just to show up, not lock busters, they're honest an don't charge you until it's determined the work to be done.
