I'm so pleased that when going for a meeting in the Hub I decided to pop in for a drink...which…read morethen turned into lunch! This is a great example of the perks in Gentrifying an area! It's a beautiful space complete with daffodils and comfortable tartan chairs. The staff were all pleasant and attentive, and happy to answer my questions! I ordered a chai latte to go, and the waiter checked if I wanted it with or without a shot of coffee. Yes my initial instinct is to bristle when someone suggests coffee in chai but I'm glad they Asked and gave me the option. The take away cups are nice and recycled, but I did burn my tongue on the drink...boo. An hour or so later I returned for lunch. I was very happy with my decision. I ordered a Brie and cranberry panini and asked for extra bacon. We shared a portion of chips. The chips were perfect. Skin on, a little on the dry side rather than oily which was really nice and they came with a side of garlic mayo. The panini was fabulous. Just what I wanted. The Brie was creamy and just the right amount of cranberry. My second chai latte of the day was very tasty. They make it with syrup so it is a bit on the sweet side, but very nice none the less. They do offer Gluten and Dairy free too! Both with soups and sandwiches, then also with cakes! I was advised that the afternoon tea offer they have also comes with gluten and dairy free options! Just make sure to let them know if you book. Overall, very happy with this find! I foresee it becoming a regular. Be sure to check it out if you're in the area.

woah! this place is ridiculous. my sister-in-law suggested that we eat here for dinner to celebrate…read moremy parents wedding anniversary but failed to inform us that it is an all you can eat off the menu (not a buffet!) type restaurant, duh! i need to prep for these sorts of things! that being said, woahhhh! we ordered tons of starters to share between six of us, the highlight being the corn chicken and the seaweed, but everything was delicious! the wait staff then brought out some shredded duck (which i don't eat cos i think they are super cute) which went down well. at this point we were all stuffed but most definitely drinking lots of wine to help us in our quest. after a rest we then ordered our mains, opting for...everything! (not quite, but it felt like it). stand outs were the squid dish, spicy prawns, delicious broccoli and yeah, everything was good! including the fried rice and the noodles. we were completely stuffed by the end of it, but it is possible to go here and eat dessert too as i saw other tables doing so! for £22 a head this has to be one of life's greatest bargains, especially considering the food is actually good and tastes a big cut above a standard buffet that would offer similiar fare. i have to say that the gluttony involved in consuming food like this kind of frightens me and disgusts me in equal measures, so, although i am glad i went and think it's a very good idea well executed, it's not somewhere i would come to often...for the sake of my life! waiting staff were friendly, efficient and personable.

It wasn't that expensive, but id rather have half the portion size and fresh food than a lot of frozen/canned stuff.
