Have been to Krua Thai twice now for lunch. Very clean restaurant…read more Extremely good value at 2 courses for £6.95. Food is made to order so you can say eg, no mushrooms and please make it quite spicy. Everything is cooked to your taste and requirements. Also vegetarian options are available. Lovely friendly staff, Paa the owner and Natalie her daughter were both very friendly and chatted to us. I cant wait to go and try the dinner menu - we had a sneaky peak and it looks fantastic. Highly recommended.

Had a quick look at menu but as they hadnt yet opened didnt have any fish as it was arriving following day (good sign of fresh not frozen) Ordered Thai mixed starters for 2 £11.95 What arrived was not standard but delicious freshly cooked 2x spring rolls, 2x fish cake, prawns, king prawn in rice paper & our kids favourite Chicken on crispy toast with sesame seeds. We then had Thai green curry with sticky boiled rice and stir fried ground pepper pork with spring onion garlic & corriander on bed of lettuce. Both dishes were light and fresh, well accompanied seasoned and just hot enough, and had Pad Mee, stir fried noodles. Didnt have drinks cause we had the car but they had a well stocked bar & wine menu and were friendly and attentive. Talking to the owner and head chef, it turns out she's from Edinburgh, noved through and opened up her own place with hubby (a crane driver on bar) and son & daughters working in family business. Thanks for a lovely meal, in bright and airy surroudings with friendly and happy staff, good luck, we'll be trying lunch soon.

It's located right in the heart of town just across from the shopping center. Parking was pretty easy in the lot across the street. We happened to walk in at the right time. There were only a few other guest already inside. But once we were seated, minutes later the place started to trickle with people coming in and ended up full. There was a good amount of us which two tables were already situated together. The restaurant itself isn't that big. Two side, main is where the counter and kitchen is with a smaller dining area. The other is mainly dining. The counter was where all the fresh pastries were on full display. Let me say, they all looked amazing and some were ordered to try before we even had our meal. Dessert first obviously. Menu wise, there was a mixture of everything. Started off with a pot of tea and an ice tea. Asked for a slice of lemon which they didn't have. Odd as it's a restaurant. Anyways, main was the Antonio which is your traditional breakfast with a few other items added. Fried eggs, smoked bacon, sausage links, haggis, black pudding, sautéed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, hash brown, halloumi and served with toast and butter. It was quite good. Toast was pretty massive for the two slices. Everything was quite tasty and flavorful. Th service was quite nice. Staff were all pretty friendly which is a plus. Dessert was amazing especially their raspberries blondie. Overall we enjoyed our meal.
