A dentist practice in a small town does not equal a lesser practice. In fact, this may be one of…read morethe best dental offices I've ever encountered, and changes my view about medical/dental professionals in small towns. As a big city gal, I can't lie that that took a minute for me to wrap my head around. I was in the area and needed to get synced up at a dentist when I took a chance on scheduling with Harbourtown. The staff members I encountered: Diane, Diana, Amber and Dr. Jarus, were all exceptional. I took a particular liking to Dr. Jarus. He's a young doctor with a modern perspective on pain management and patient communication. I felt super comfortable with him as my dentist and he asked thoughtful questions about me as a personal and my dental needs. Diane and the front desk is very helpful and competent when it comes to dealing with insurance and keeping your account organized. The office is so charmingly decorated in a nautical theme that is inviting but not tacky. This dentist is in a 2-minute walk from Vermilion's Main Street Beach and you can see the beach from their front steps. If you have to visit the dentist, you may as well look at the beautiful Lake while doing it!

No child should have to go through what he did.Needless to say we found a new oral surgeon. I am SO happy that we drove to Dr. Scott Nagy's office just north of LCCC in Sheffield. He was incredible with my child. He explained everything and he is so compassionate. My child was actually excited to go this morning and not afraid even after the last experience, because Dr. Nagy earned his trust during the consultation. If anyone you know is looking for a new Dentist or Oral Surgeon I would encourage you to refer them to Nagy Family Dental Group. As someone with diagnosed anxiety disorder, I was looking forward to coming here due to the fact…read morethat they boldly claim to be anxiety-free atmosphere and that was NOT the case. I went in for an exam and after had 2 appointments scheduled for teeth cleaning & cavities. The woman who was scheduled my appointments, wrote down incorrect numbers to which she took no accountability for. Accused me yelling (after I had my mouth numbed, so not sure that was even possible). She also told me she cancelled my future appointments (which I did not ask her to do). She said "numbers are not final until insurance anyway" continuing not taking accountability. Definitely NOT an anxiety free zone. Paid almost DOUBLE the price that was initially stated to me.
