"Worth the Wait: Good Vibes and Amazing Plates" 02-01-2026 Local Table is a chic, hip, and cool spot that serves a variety of delicious dishes with great customer service. It's kind of the perfect mix of fancy and casual, depending on your mood, you can come in dressed up or keep it comfy and still fit right in. I've visited several times and my experiences are always pleasant, but this was my first time coming on a Sunday afternoon. I came with my husband, my daughter, and her male friend, and whew... the place was ridiculously packed. When I checked in, the host told us the wait would be about 30-45 minutes. We were fine with that, and we ended up getting seated right at the 30-minute mark, which honestly isn't bad at all for a Sunday crowd. Customer service was great as always. I can't remember our server's name, but he was friendly and welcoming. He fell a little short on attentiveness at times, but overall we still had a great time. What really surprised me was how clean and well-kept the restaurant was, even with how packed it was. So shout-out to the team for staying on top of things and keeping everything organized. Now let's talk ambiance; the vibe was lively, upbeat, and full of energy. From the moment we walked in, there was laughter, nonstop chatter, and servers moving quickly, just good vibes all around. It feels neighborhood-friendly and warm like a local hangout, but it still gives upscale and chic vibes too. The food is always amazing: full of flavor and served piping hot. The only complaint came from my daughter with the beef on her kabob plate. It wasn't well done and was still pink inside when she cut into it. She didn't send it back; she just took it home and popped it in the oven for a few minutes to finish cooking it. She loved it and said that it was very flavorsome and mouthwatering and that the vegetables and rice tasted astoundingly delectable. Honestly, I do think servers should ask customers how they want their beef cooked, because not everyone likes medium-rare meat. Some people (like my daughter) prefer it well done. Overall, Local Table is the spot for a Sunday afternoon if you're looking for high energy, a vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food. They also have healthy, vegan-friendly options, which I love. I highly recommend it. Just a heads-up: parking can be limited in the front, but there's plenty of parking behind the building. Great spot if you're in the Cypress area. Parking was a pain, as it always is in these "town center" type places. So plan on dropping off your crew and taking a little stroll to get back. Loved the outdoor patio! It's dog-friendly, and I'm all about that as my pup travels with me everywhere (more flight miles than most people). It was super busy, full-packed when I went on a weeknight, but even so, our service was good. They brought water for the pup as well. Drinks were great. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. We had the Briar Patch Sour [Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Blackberry Puree, lime juice, Angostura Orange Bitters, lemon mint foam] and the Spicy Pineapple Margarita [Pineapple jalapeno infused Lunazul Blanco Tequila, pineapple juice, triple sec, house-made sour mix, agave nectar]. Could have easily drank more than one ;) We shared the Green Chile Shrimp Ceviche [Guacamole, cucumbers, homestyle tortilla chips, cilantro] to start. It was decent. Pull your chips out quick as they get soggy if not, and no one likes soggy chips! For dinner, I opted for the Honey Ginger-Glazed Salmon [Sustainable salmon, basmati lentil rice, turmeric roasted, seasonal vegetables, garlic toast], and it was also good. So yeah - I like this spot! And if I found myself in the area - I'd probably go again.

Might have to park around back as there is limited parking up front. Place is clean, staff are friendly. We ordered the kebab plate and spinach dip, and lemon pasta. First of all the pasta was unexpectedly spicy, wasn't a fan. The bf had the kebab plate which he said was just ok as the food was lacking flavor/seasoning. The spinach dip was good and they gave extra chips. I would give this place another try and check out other things on the menu.

Came in with my friend on a Monday around mid-day. They were pretty busy, so we decided to sit by the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive the entire time despite how busy she was. My friend and I both ordered the strawberry spritz and it was very refreshing, not overly sweet at all. As an entree I ordered the lemon pasta with shrimp, it was good the flavor of the pasta was nice and the shrimp was cooked well. I'm not a fan of capers, so I should've asked for them to be removed but other than that the pasta was very good. My friend ordered the gyro with fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Overall, I'd say this is a good casual lunch spot.

I found this place on a whim while looking for a place to stop and grab a bite on the way back to Austin. I'm so happy I found it because everything was great! We tried the Ahi Tuna Tostadas (special menu), Ahi Tuna Tartare, soup of the day (Tortilla Soup), Lemon Pasta with shrimp and the Asian Chicken Salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and my brother said the Asian Chicken Salad was the best he's ever had. Portion sizes were on the smaller side of the scale. Our server was very nice and patient with us (2 of the 3 of us have severe food allergies). There were a few TVs, so if you're a sport watcher, that's an option for you. I really appreciated the openness and brightness of the space. Hopefully they'll venture out into central Texas!

Totally loved the experience ! The food tasted so good! The staff was kind and smiling. The ambiance was easy and comfortable. Yay for an overall great time! This was about mid afternoon. They placed the two of us on a two seater booth. So cushy! Promptly served with water and menus. We started the southerquesadillas: they are a great appetizer to share ! Crispy skin but not crumbling, with a scoop of avocado. Yum! Next, we chose the Mediterranean fusion bowl. So well balanced with a bit of basmati rice, a bit of brown rice, brussels sprouts, squash, guacamole, beans, topped with aioli sauce ! Really really feels good, tasty and fulfilling. Also, picked the shrimp tacos with a side of black beans. And their side of fries... Just order it. Yes, just because. Crispyyyy, almost like double fried ? Great portion to share or not. Delicious. Really satisfying. They have TV's above their bars to watch the games if you wish. It's super family friendly, group friendly, date or solo. Accommodating for all! And because it was our first time, we were given a quick presentation of the business. Local Bar across the street is theirs too! How cool. Hope they'll open a location in town! Otherwise, I'll be back.

In short Local Table and Local Bar (across the street) are absolute wins for Cypress. If you're coming from North Cypress, know both are located in Bridgeland, so plan for the drive, but there's plenty to do once you're in the area, Bridgeland being the beauty that it is. Anyways, I'd taken a break from Local Table, after moving further away, but thought it'd be a quieter option to watch the Texans game last night. It delivered on providing a quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to the bar. Plus, their bar on this night was spacious and relatively empty. Yes, there were more children and couples, but it's hard to beat a peaceful game experience sitting at the open air bar. The food and drink were solid overall. While I think the cucumber basil gimlet needs a bit more work, the beer is cold, my grilled chicken pesto sandwich was delicious (when I got the perfect bite of red pepper, savory cheese, pesto, and grilled chicken slathered in olive oil (or maybe that was the pesto)), and I'm glad I did not skip the chocolate lava cake. It's as nostalgic as the Chili's version, but all grown up. I never thought I'd say this but I'd definitely consider them for another peaceful game night experience this season!

I did not think I was going to love this place as much as I did. I ordered the pedal club cocktail and the honey glazed salmon and all I gotta say is wowowowow. The drink is was phenomenal; perfectly made. The salmon though? mouthwatering. Also, the service was exceptional. I forgot our servers name (maybe Adrian or Carlos) but he was great. Loved him! I would 100% recommend coming here. Can't wait to come back!

I should have written a review for this place a long time ago because I'm definitely a regular! Especially on a pretty day -- sitting outside is such a vibe. Let me start with the food and the menu -- always on point. It's simple, yet somehow so satisfying every single time. The drinks are great, with a really good variety at the bar. And I have yet to encounter a rude member of the waitstaff there. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which is hard to find. I'm a regular and will continue to be as long as they keep running things the way they do. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants good food, good service, and decent prices.

This is a solid four star restaurant where you can't go wrong with anything you order. But nothing is so spectacular that you wanna rave about it. We met some friends for brunch today to celebrate the holiday season. I had the mimosa flight. My daughter had Briar Patch Dour and and all the drinks were delicious. My son ordered an espresso which came in a normal size coffee mug. I asked the waiter, and he said they were all out of espresso cups. Oh well! A small hick up. Overall, the service was really good and Andrew was attentive. We ordered crab cakes Benedict, chicken and biscuits Benedict, prosciutto Benedict from the brunch menu. Salmon and Gyro from the main menu. Everything was delicious but still none of the dishes were to crave or keep coming back for. That's just our opinion. The ambience at local table is always great and family friendly. Overall, a great place to hang out with friends and have a few cocktails.

I loved this place! There were so many options on the menu, so I am excited to come back many more times. I had the chicken and waffles and thought it was delicious! The waffle was nice and soft, not hard like many other waffles I have tried. The chicken tenders were slightly small in my opinion. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere. Edit: I recently came back here and had the strawberry champagne margarita and it was to die for! I hope they make this drink a regular part of the menu. Also, Nikki our waitress, was incredible!

We were seated outside and it was a beautiful day. I ordered the crab cakes and the ahi tuna poke bowl. To drink, I ordered the blueberry cucumber martini. The meal tasted delicious and fresh. My friend ordered the crispy chicken and eggs and she enjoyed her meal as well. The waitstaff were extremely attentive. I think we had 5 separate people checking on us throughout the meal. They were busy but the food came out really quickly. It was the perfect ambiance to catch up with a friend I had not seen in 20 years. I recommend this location for sure.

The food here is amazing and the portion size is huge. The only downfall is that the regular fries are not great. They are homage, but you have to make sure to ask for them to be cooked extra well done or else they will come out limpy. The sweet potato fries are amazing! Y'all..... we ordered 3 items - the steak wrap & wedge salad, fried chicken & penne pasta. If you want the most bland flavorless food go here. Pasta had mushrooms from a can, no salt or flavor absolutely nothing enjoyable. Steak wrap was a mess or random stuff in a cold tortilla wrap, wedge salad was only a hunk of lettuce with cherry tomatoes and blue cheese... no onions bacon anything. The fried chicken was bad, flavorless and green beans were not cooked or seasoned. I never wrote reviews but seriously this place was so packed and service was good. This place was amazing! Got the Brussels sprouts salad with chicken, the dressing was vinegary and delicious, Brussels sprouts perfectly cooked and the chicken juicy. My kids devoured their food which were both huge portions for a kids dish. The service was excellent as well with frequent check ups and fast delivery of items/food. While local table is not my first choice when goi g out to ear, it is a solid option when we are out of ideas or just don't want to drive to something else. The food is always good and the service is quick to respond. They have daily specials that are worth trying and the roasted Brussels sprouts are a must try. What an Incredible experience having this restaurant so close to home. Everything we have sorely missed in Cypress has come to our neighborhood. The problem we have been having is lack of good service at most of our surrounding restaurants, this one however, does not disappoint. The service level is Excellent and Incredible. You can tell the waiters are well trained and talented. I asked for a recommendation and the waiter gave me his 2 top dishes so I went with the Kabob tips and they were fenomenal. This is the first time I ordered food here, but not sure if I will come back. The food tasted okay. However, they ignored all of my notes for the togo order. My husband wanted a medium well burger, got medium rare. I ordered Anaheim grilled chicken lentil rice, no salad, separate sauce, extra gyro. The stir fried veggie had a pice of sweet potatoes fries. This place is a great cypress area restaurant. If you want a nice ambience and great service this is the place to go. I had their brussel sprouts and their crispy chicken sandwich ( yes very basic) but it was all delicious but the waitress i had was amazing. This restaurant has been a favorite since they opened. I absolutely love the innovative dishes and the amazing descriptions on each item on the menu so we know exactly what we are getting. Everything is fresh and delicious. I felt like it was important to do a recent review. We've been going for years and the only thing when they first opened was that I wished the portions were a little bit bigger as I never got full if I didn't do an appetizer. Well they listened. We went last night and the same dish I've been getting for a long time was a much larger portion. I was so happy. I absolutely love their lemon chicken and their goat cheese appetizer is a favorite. They also go above and beyond to make a special gluten free dairy free dish (grilled chicken and homemade fries) for my two sons even though it's not listed on the kids menu. They always go above and beyond with a smile. I also love that they do reservations. The atmosphere inside is amazing and the staff is always friendly. Thank you so much for not decreasing the ingredient quality or quantity (I despise shrinkflation) and also actually increasing the amount of food you get on a plate. We recently paid about the same thing for a family of four at a burger restaurant and we literally got tiny burgers and a small side of previously frozen fries on the side for that. At Local Table? We got appetizers and dessert and were stuffed with delicious fresh, high quality food. I don't mind paying a little bit more when I'm getting a nice big portion and quality food. I love that the menu has not been pared down in the name of Covid still two years later, but has had things added and always new things I haven't heard of. Always so delish! I wish I could go every day and eat all of my meals here. My family does a family restaurant night every Friday and this will be added into our rotation much more frequently as long as portions stay large. Super super delicious. The only thing I suggest is maybe adding a gluten free dairy free meal onto the kids menu permanently. A gluten free bun option on the burgers would also be amazing. Thank you. read more

Well let's just say this location doesn't set the bar when it comes to food and service , my sons burger was over cooked two times , my meal( tacos came out with one barely having meat literally like a teaspoon . When I showed the food runner, he replied okay like that was it, as the server walked up, I brought it to her attention and they took my plate instead of just bringing another taco. Then my 10 yr old son complained that his meat was not well as I ordered a med well temp burger that did not happen it was tough so I told the server to make it just a regular adult burger to make it easier for correct temp bit when it came out It was well done and dry. But while my wife and son ate, my tacos never came out till the end everyone was done and I basically felt disgusted and really didn't want to eat anything. The AGM ( Lopez) came out and apologized for the mistakes after I left the table to speak with him about where my food was and my sons dry burger that was remade. This obviously should have not even escalated to that point. It is hi duty the first time there is a problem to come to the table to see what happened and talk with guest to make appropriate accommodations or recommendations not leave it to the server , especially putting in a fire ticket to make sure the remake comes out fast not with other orders causing the guest to wait while they're party eats there meals. Truly poor everything especially management this was honestly the worst experience I have had at local table. On one note the goat cheese app was delicious but my wife and I were thrown off about the (Subway Sandwich) lettuce this is not appropriate greens for a burger nor is it really healthy its 80% water just a filler no nutritional value whatsoever you would assume that they promote a healthy menu not the case, just food for thought.Take note that this just shows lack of pride on the executive chefs side to allow these kind of greens on his burger and just serve a sonic style grass-fed burger on a brioche and viola its on the menu. At the end of the day the food runner(expo) missed his cue for overlooking the food for anything wrong as also the AGM for mishandling the whole situation and the server was basically just victimized by poor staff I felt bad for her. The manager did say he would comp our meal just leave the waiter a tip , truly like I had any plans on paying for this horrid experience . Anyhow , I was just happy to leave with a smile on face to appease my wife and son but that's about as far as it went . Not sure I will ever come back to this location. read more

Mike L. and Alan G. provide excellent customer service. We've been coming here since this location has opened, and they've by far gone above and beyond. They're always very accommodating to our requests and needs (thank you!), and they provide a family-friendly atmosphere that keeps us coming back for more. Their bartending staff has always made it fun for us to stay and enjoy our time as well. The food and drinks have a range of diversity and are quite tasty. 10/10 would recommend. First and foremost I love to support local restaurants. Before I get into the food I want to mention that the service was awesome. We were greeted at the door and our service at the table was great! Now the food, the spinach dip and sausage chivali bites were the highlight of the meal but I was let down big time by the main course. The main course lacked flavor, it lacked punch. The lemon pasta was just so bland and the penne pasta tasted burnt. I want to highlight again the staff and management were amazing, friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean. If management ever sees this review I want to give a big shout out to Maria for taking care of us. She was the bomb! read more

When asked which bites I would like I kindly reminded the gentleman I ordered Brownie AND Banana bites. I was asked several times whether or not I wanted the banana bites. After clarifying multiple times I indeed wanted BOTH the brownie bites AND banana bites, I was informed they no longer make the banana bites. I was so dumbfounded at having heard this. I wondered "What service is this??!! Am I being punked??" At this point I wanted NOTHING to do with this store or it's products! In fact, why would I even consider picking up the order? I UBERed for a reason!! I asked how I could get my money back (mind you I've NEVER been in this predicament with an UBER order). The gentleman explained he would refund me and I should see the money in my account in 2-3 business days. I have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and consistently had positive experiences. However, during my most recent visit, it became evident that there may be new management in place, as the quality of both the food and service has noticeably declined. I went for brunch, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated right next to the kitchen, where the entire staff seemed to stand and watch us, making the experience uncomfortable. When we asked to move, our request was denied due to their table assignment policy, which prioritizes specific servers. During our meal, a glass was accidentally broken behind us, and we were struck by glass and water. Shockingly, the drinks that were being carried at the time were still served to us, raising concerns about safety as they could have contained glass shards. When the manager came over to address the situation, it was clear that he was frustrated and disinterested in resolving the issue, offering minimal acknowledgment of the restaurant's shortcomings. Given the significant decline in food quality and customer service, I will not be returning to this establishment, which is unfortunate as it was once a place I frequented and enjoyed. read more

Can't say enough great things about this place. The staff and the owner are always great to see and talk with. They always go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with everything. Even with all that is going on in the world today, they still treat you as if nothing has happened. Today I went in with my family and I enjoyed every moment in there the restaurant was clean and family friendly. The server I got was named Juan Z and he was outstanding I enjoyed his presence and helped when being undecisive with food, he was super friendly and respectful. My server Juan Z was INCREDIBLE the way he serves me and my family made me feel like home. He brought everything I ordered for my family and I and It was perfect throughout the whole experience he came by and asked if everything was good and if we needed anything he would bring it. He made me feel like my family and I was at home with his serves. I went to the Cypress Local Table and it was incredible. The food was amazing, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service we received from a lovely lady named Carolina. Amazing food and cleanliness for the cost. Looks and tastes like a higher class restaurant than what the price says. Wonderful staff with amazing customer service and managerial staff. They can deliver, cater, do takeout, or dine in. Michael Lopez and Michael Miller have been extra hospitable whenever I am here. My favorite thing to get is the baked potato soup and chipotle chicken wrap with fries. 10/10 will recommend to anyone wanting to visit. read more

New to the area, looking for a quick brunch spot and this place didn't disappoint. Food portions were ample- hummus and pita app was enough to feed two. The hummus was fresh and delicious, the kabob plate with beef tenderloin was the perfect amount of food and again, very very good. Atmosphere was easy, breezy, and although the place was very busy, that rush feel didn't get passed on to us. We will be back! read more

Sat at the bar today wonderful service by the bartender's Warren and Alan. The drinks were outstanding best bartenders in Cypress Texas and the food was fantastic must try the new Short Rib Street Tacos 10/10. Mike Miller is a phenomenal manger at this location made me feel like I was at home with the hospitality where I can just relax and have fun. Definitely coming back. read more

When I visited the restaurant I had a waitress named Cheri. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. She was very respectful, continuously made sure everything was perfect, and she was so nice! I had the lemon pasta, as she suggested I get and she didn't steer me wrong! Awesome restaurant! Went out with the guys to have some drinks and man we had a blast! Time to take my family here instead of my men group! Lol. Manager was awesome! This is the kind of restaurant you try one time and you keep repeating. The service is amazing, starting with hostess which greats you with a big smile.
