Drove in to town with a television crew full of hungry people. When we arrived we discovered our order had been placed at the wrong location. Mr Miller (I think), the manager on duty quickly helped us sort out the issue and we were able to feed our team of 15 people on time without disrupting our tight schedule. We were all very impressed! What an Incredible experience having this restaurant so close to home. Everything we have sorely missed in Cypress has come to our neighborhood. The problem we have been having is lack of good service at most of our surrounding restaurants, this one however, does not disappoint. The service level is Excellent and Incredible. You can tell the waiters are well trained and talented. I asked for a recommendation and the waiter gave me his 2 top dishes so I went with the Kabob tips and they were fenomenal. The food was amazing as always. However, when I walked in to ask for a table and asked if there were booths available the manager (I am assuming due to no name tag stating so, female with tattooed arms and brown hair) at the front did not acknowledge me but told the hostess "it's hard to tell" while rolling her eyes. I felt like an inconvenience when I was simply asking due to my mother needing a booth with cushion due to recent surgery. It was also interesting to me that the party behind us who happened to be white were not met with the same attitude when they requested the same thing. The hostess who seated me was nice. Throughout the night the manager spoke to every table around us except our table. At one point she was right next to me but gave me her back the whole time while she checked on the other table. I felt uncomfortable having the manager make continuous eye contact with me; acknowledging that she saw me but never coming to ask how we were doing. I would assume someone in a leadership position would set the example. This is my mother's favorite spot, however we will need to find a new place. I rather go to a place where I can ask questions freely and not have eyes rolled; definitely sours the night when our intention was to come here to enjoy dinner. read more

This location does not know how to cook French Fries. You get 3 options, soggy, raw, cold, or like this past Saturday you get a trifecta and have each option on a single plate. The food here is amazing and the portion size is huge. The only downfall is that the regular fries are not great. They are homage, but you have to make sure to ask for them to be cooked extra well done or else they will come out limpy. The sweet potato fries are amazing! This restaurant has been a favorite since they opened. I absolutely love the innovative dishes and the amazing descriptions on each item on the menu so we know exactly what we are getting. Everything is fresh and delicious. I felt like it was important to do a recent review. We've been going for years and the only thing when they first opened was that I wished the portions were a little bit bigger as I never got full if I didn't do an appetizer. Well they listened. We went last night and the same dish I've been getting for a long time was a much larger portion. I was so happy. I absolutely love their lemon chicken and their goat cheese appetizer is a favorite. They also go above and beyond to make a special gluten free dairy free dish (grilled chicken and homemade fries) for my two sons even though it's not listed on the kids menu. They always go above and beyond with a smile. I also love that they do reservations. The atmosphere inside is amazing and the staff is always friendly. Thank you so much for not decreasing the ingredient quality or quantity (I despise shrinkflation) and also actually increasing the amount of food you get on a plate. We recently paid about the same thing for a family of four at a burger restaurant and we literally got tiny burgers and a small side of previously frozen fries on the side for that. At Local Table? We got appetizers and dessert and were stuffed with delicious fresh, high quality food. I don't mind paying a little bit more when I'm getting a nice big portion and quality food. I love that the menu has not been pared down in the name of Covid still two years later, but has had things added and always new things I haven't heard of. Always so delish! I wish I could go every day and eat all of my meals here. My family does a family restaurant night every Friday and this will be added into our rotation much more frequently as long as portions stay large. Super super delicious. The only thing I suggest is maybe adding a gluten free dairy free meal onto the kids menu permanently. A gluten free bun option on the burgers would also be amazing. Thank you. read more

This place is a great cypress area restaurant. If you want a nice ambience and great service this is the place to go. I had their brussel sprouts and their crispy chicken sandwich ( yes very basic) but it was all delicious but the waitress i had was amazing. Pasta had mushrooms from a can, no salt or flavor absolutely nothing enjoyable. Steak wrap was a mess or random stuff in a cold tortilla wrap, wedge salad was only a hunk of lettuce with cherry tomatoes and blue cheese... no onions bacon anything. The fried chicken was bad, flavorless and green beans were not cooked or seasoned. I never wrote reviews but seriously this place was so packed and service was good. The food is always good and the service is quick to respond. They have daily specials that are worth trying and the roasted Brussels sprouts are a must try. First and foremost I love to support local restaurants. Before I get into the food I want to mention that the service was awesome. We were greeted at the door and our service at the table was great! Now the food, the spinach dip and sausage chivali bites were the highlight of the meal but I was let down big time by the main course. The main course lacked flavor, it lacked punch. The lemon pasta was just so bland and the penne pasta tasted burnt. I want to highlight again the staff and management were amazing, friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean. If management ever sees this review I want to give a big shout out to Maria for taking care of us. She was the bomb! read more

Was in town for a quick weekend getaway. Food was great staff was friendly and well trained. Seemed like a great local spot.

Came here on a Friday night around 7pm and the place was pretty busy. About a 20 minute wait for 2 people, which isn't terrible for a place this new and busy. We weren't sure how the service was going to go since we decided to get some drinks from the bar while we waited and it took about 10 minutes to get someone to even hand us a menu. The first person we asked said "sure" and walked to the other side of the bar but no menus... finally the person cleaning glasses noticed no one had helped us and grabbed someone else. Got our drinks, red wine sangria was decent. When we got our table, the service improved and our food came out super fast. Like almost scary fast. Husband got the gyro plate and I got the brussel sprout pizza. Both were good but I feel like there's no way they cooked both after our orders went in and got them to our table from the time we ordered. It took about 8 minutes from placing our order to food on the table. But like I said, the food was pretty good and didn't seem stale or like it had been sitting out waiting for someone to order it. Cheesecake was good but nothing super special about it. Wish they would bring in more places like this and less chains like Olive Garden and Jason's Deli to Cypress. read more

Well let's just say this location doesn't set the bar when it comes to food and service , my sons burger was over cooked two times , my meal( tacos came out with one barely having meat literally like a teaspoon . When I showed the food runner, he replied okay like that was it, as the server walked up, I brought it to her attention and they took my plate instead of just bringing another taco. Then my 10 yr old son complained that his meat was not well as I ordered a med well temp burger that did not happen it was tough so I told the server to make it just a regular adult burger to make it easier for correct temp bit when it came out It was well done and dry. But while my wife and son ate, my tacos never came out till the end everyone was done and I basically felt disgusted and really didn't want to eat anything. The AGM ( Lopez) came out and apologized for the mistakes after I left the table to speak with him about where my food was and my sons dry burger that was remade. This obviously should have not even escalated to that point. It is hi duty the first time there is a problem to come to the table to see what happened and talk with guest to make appropriate accommodations or recommendations not leave it to the server , especially putting in a fire ticket to make sure the remake comes out fast not with other orders causing the guest to wait while they're party eats there meals. Truly poor everything especially management this was honestly the worst experience I have had at local table. On one note the goat cheese app was delicious but my wife and I were thrown off about the (Subway Sandwich) lettuce this is not appropriate greens for a burger nor is it really healthy its 80% water just a filler no nutritional value whatsoever you would assume that they promote a healthy menu not the case, just food for thought.Take note that this just shows lack of pride on the executive chefs side to allow these kind of greens on his burger and just serve a sonic style grass-fed burger on a brioche and viola its on the menu. At the end of the day the food runner(expo) missed his cue for overlooking the food for anything wrong as also the AGM for mishandling the whole situation and the server was basically just victimized by poor staff I felt bad for her. The manager did say he would comp our meal just leave the waiter a tip , truly like I had any plans on paying for this horrid experience . Anyhow , I was just happy to leave with a smile on face to appease my wife and son but that's about as far as it went . Not sure I will ever come back to this location. read more
