If you're traveling through the area or spending some time in the Stanislaus National Forest, Alicia's Sugar Shack is definitely worth stopping by. First if all the MENU completely overwhelmed me with so many of the mix match of boba, milk teas, different types of tea, different types of boba, etc. I wish I could get one drink of everything! But being my first time I went with the one I know I'd like being the strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping jelly boba and a hint of chocolate syrup (this has become my new favorite boba combo don't knock it till you try it) lol. They also had food but since my mom was waiting for me in the car I had to be quick! The service? Literally couldn't be better! Brandon helped me and he's the BEST! Extremely kind, knowledgeable of just about everything and let me know they get their popping jelly boba all the way from Hayward! Now that's boujee no wonder it's so delicious! He also gave me a stamp card because I will ABSOLUTELY be returning as well as a sample of their fudge for my mom and I. Oh not to mention they have the cutest merch ever so I quickly snatched the last pink mini boba plushie keychain how cute!? The whole aesthetic of the place was like a dream pink cute and so detailed everywhere you looked yet well tasteful I absolutely could have hung out in there with my MacBook in their all day unbothered and just might for medical work in the future! Good drinks, snacks, aesthetically pleasing with yeh SWEETEST staff is 10000/10! Do your self a favor and come here!! They've got just about anything and everything a boba lover could love! Thanks Brandon, you guys are awesome can't wait to return!!

The lady was giving out samples and I wish I ordered that drink! I forgot the name but it was a fall drink. The drinks that my husband and I ordered were watered down. I believe I ordered the classic milk tea and he ordered the brown sugar. The boba was cooked correctly, but sad our drinks weren't to our liking. Also sad because drinks were pretty pricey. My kids shared the chocolate brownie bubble waffle with cookies and cream ice cream. They enjoyed that of course! I like how they cut the bubble waffle into bite size pieces so my kids can eat it with ease. Overall, I give this place a 4 because of customer service and my kids devoured their dessert. 3 stars because my drinks were pricey and watered down BUT that sample drink was good. So 4 stars for you

Twain Harte Creamery is located in downtown Twain Harte across from The Rock. Parking is usually street unless you get lucky and are able to park in front of a business. The inside is small, but homey. It could also use a deep clean, but the really fun is outside though. They have a nice patio area with a play area and jump house for the kids. You must buy something at the Creamery in order to partake in the fun though. We got in line and it seemed to more a bit slow -- we finally got to the register and ordered one Horchata Milkshake. Once we paid, the young kid at the register said it would be a little while before our order came out. As expected, it did take a while for our Milkshake to come and it was not worth the wait. Overall, I know I am a city girl and used to the more fast paced life so I will give them a little grace, plus their staff were friendly and doing their best. Rating is 3.5 stars! I'm sure we'll be back next time we are in Twain Harte!

We were excited to try all the different items - pizza, BBQ pork sandwich, and tri-tip sandwich. We asked for the BBQ sandwiches to have the sauce on the side, but we got sauce on the meat. The BBQ was good, but I spent a OK or good amount of time wiping off sauce. The sourdough pizza was different than I expected. I love making sourdough and love eating it, but I found their sourdough crust to be a little off. I loved the cheese bread, but my kids wouldn't eat it due to the little green Italian spice. We likely will go back to give the ice cream a try.

We will definitely be doing that next time we visit! The real winner though was the deli - we ordered sandwiches to take to the pool with us. They were made while we walked around and grabbed more items - we ordered The Tuscan, The Longhorn, The Classic and an Extreme Cheese.
