I have 3 words to describe this business.....Above and Beyond!!! We were on our way out of town for a cruise and damaged the key fob to our van while trying to change the battery. I called 3 different lock smiths and no body would help. We were afraid our vacation would be ruined and we felt so hopeless and alone...until I discovered Local Locksmith in Queen Creek. Something about using a local locksmith in my own town gave me a little hope. So I reached out and spoke to Sharon and immediately I was treated like family. Her and Steve jumped into action researching hacks and troubleshooting over the phone. It was obvious they genuinely wanted to help and they were so concerned about getting us back on the road. When all troubleshooting failed they did everything possible to get us a new fob but they didn't have the fob we needed. They didn't stop there though....they just wouldn't give up! They were so worried about us getting overcharged by a different locksmith that they called other trusted locksmiths they knew, one after another, until they found someone who had the fob we needed at a great price and who was willing to drive out to us right then and there! WOW!!! I've been in customer service for 25 years and have never experienced this level of professionalism, empathy and compassion! I LOVE Local Locksmith. I used them for the first time today- and I love so many things about them! ...I loved their prices, their great communication, how fast they got the lock changed, how friendly they were, and that they were prompt and actually came within the 30 minute time-frame that they'd given me! (I wish everyone did! I think this was a first for me! ;) I had called a total of 6 locksmiths before scheduling with Local Locksmith. Four of the other locksmiths that I called gave me an estimate much higher than Local Locksmith's estimate. One of them was almost 3 times as much! And two of the other locksmiths didn't even answer their phones! I'm saving Local Locksmith's phone# so I can use them again when I need to. This is the way all businesses should work! They know their craft very well and don't use that as an excuse to gouge you. They were very responsive to my initial inquiry (using text messaging) and met me at a neutral location to avoid a service fee. (This was something that they suggested). Completely free of the slime and fear mongering that you feel when you go to a dealership. Completely free of the inexperience that you get when you go to a battery store or auto parts store. And of course, most of all, they were able to provide me with two remote-entry car keys for $300 LESS than the dealer wanted. They also gave me the key codes and a tutorial for what to do in the future (even if they themselves aren't the ones that service me). They genuinely care, and do a good job and are very reasonably priced. This is how businesses SHOULD be and I am happy to get the word out about them. read more

We had a great experience with Local Locksmith Queen Creek yesterday! I'm always cautious about unfamiliar vendors, and would normally have attempted the repair myself. (erratic key function on the front door.) Man, am I glad that I didn't try the do-it-yourself route! It turned out that we have a SmartKey (smart key) lock, and I would have likely ruined it if I'd tried to fix it myself. Where an old-fashioned lock has only a handful of moving parts, this new one has over 40 moving parts. The repair went very smoothly, and they even lubed all the outdoor access points to prevent future problems. There was no rushing around to get the job done. Instead, the work was completed efficiently, and the event overall felt more like a visit from friends than a business transaction. The price was reasonable too! Highly recommended! read more

What we thought was a rekeying of the front door lock turned out to have a much simpler fix after Local Locksmith took a look. They discovered the real issue was dirt that had accumulated inside the lock. Because we never use the key to open that lock (we enter through the garage), dirt had accumulated over 5 years such that the key wouldn't turn. The fix was a good cleaning with silicone spray. Local Locksmith also looked at our screen door and sliding door locks while onsite, and they gave us some helpful tips on how to care for those locks, as well. Steve is absolutely amazing. My security screen door would not open. He came a few hours after I called and with his knowledge & determination he got that door opened. He said I needed a whole new lock on it bc the latch broke in a tilted position. He was not sure how or why that would happen but it needed to be replaced. Within minutes of getting the door open the new lock was in and working. Steve is a gentleman, very professional and a skilled locksmith. Sharon asked me to send her a picture of the key I was looking for and verified they had the blank in stock. Sharon and Steve are simply the best. They coordinated with me while I was out of state to gain access to my house and dropped the keys off to my neighbour. They do safe/lock drilling which is exactly what I needed.(I had an uncommon hardened steel deadbolt.) They recorded the process and were very professional with our interactions.
