SCAM/FRAUD!!! STOLE $1050. We had gone back and forth for a few weeks figuring out dates for a fish trip. I was specific I wanted a kayak trip. He assured me that we would not only see bonefish but would also catch them. So finally after settling on a date, I booked and paid for a trip on Dec 21st through Zelle per his request to confirm trip on Dec 22nd. After I paid on 21st, I called Jon Jon to figure out the plan for the following day at which time he asked to switch the guide trip to Dec 24, which I agreed to. On the 23rd before the trip he told me when and where to meet on the 24th. The morning of the 24th he confirmed the time for that day then shortly later he changed the time to about an hour later. No problem for us. Then about 1.5hrs after that, before our trip, he texted and then called me that he had to cancel the trip because he said he was sick but assured me (in text and on phone) he would refund my money. Have called and texted numerous times but he's totally ghosting me - crickets. Filed fraud claims with my bank and will pursue all other legal options to protect others. After the trip, I happened to talked to other fishing locals and guides that I happened to run it on Maui and Kauai and they didn't have positive things to say about him. Interesting enough, shortly before my planned trip on Dec 22nd, his website went down. Could it be because he needs to reboot with a new company and change his name? read more

JonJon is a nice guy. We fished a day with awful weather. JonJon cast to more fish than I did. I have fished with a lot of guides and the guide should be helping the client hook into fish for $675 for a trip (yes $675). After 3 hours we decided the weather was too bad to fish. He offered to have his guide fish with me a few days later so I could finish my trip. It's been 6 days with multiple messages into JonJon but nothing. The day I was suppose to fish with his guide JonJon posted pictures of himself landing bonefish. Must be nice to ignore a client yet have time to catch fish for yourself. 6 days I've tried to reach you JonJon. That's poor service for what I paid you. Very disappointing! read more

9 members of our family were on Maui for the better part of weeks; and 4 of us were dying to get into some fishing. I've got to admit when eldest son suggested kayak fishing, my eyes rolled. It sounded like a lot of work! However, he'd done his homework & cited multiple recommendations & we watched several of Captain Jon Jon's videos. "Count me in!" We met Capt'n Jon Jon & his sidekick Johan at a public launch near our rental home; split 1 adult, 1 grandson / guide & we were off to the races (so to speak). Not being at all acquainted with this type of fish or fishing, I was surprised that the first thing we needed to do was catch our own bait fish. Back home I'd have happily eaten what we used for bait (Opelu). We all had an absolute blast! My Father and I went out with Johann this morning. I contacted Jon Jon on a Friday evening with our only days available being Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I had a conversation with him to let him know our fishing experience, kayak experience, and what we enjoy as an experience qhen fishing. Based on that information Jon Jon suggested a nearshore kayak trip. We had an absolute blast! We were fortunate enough to have nice weather and caught a nice variety of fish. We had consistent action the entire time. Johann made changes and adjustments throughout the morning to try to target different types of fish. This is exactly the type of experience we were looking for. Johann was extremely informative and a pleasure to spend time out on the water with. These guys were professional, accomodating, and just genuinely good people to work with. We could have not had so much as a bite (that is how fishing goes sometimes) and this still would be the review they would have received. Highly recommend them! read more

Jon Jon and his wife were very informative and helpful from the get go! They helped me find clothes to fish in, last minute, for my wife. When we showed up, my wife had no idea what she was in for, and it ended up being the second best day of our trip behind us getting married the day before. The views were unbelievable as was the fishing. His knowledge on the local fishery was second to none. Always entertaining and making us feel like we had been friends for years. I asked him before we left to make sure my wife caught the most fish, and he didn't disappoint. She caught what would be record size bonefish from where we are from (east coast) and kept them coming! I would not recommend this outfitter. His guide was just some kid he hired to take people fishing. There was no boat involved you use step ladders in the tide pools. The guide was 30 minutes late due to not being able to find his keys. Then when we were about to head out, he realized he forgot his shoes. We missed low tide by several hours and never had a chance after three hours of not seeing anything the guide called it a day. $750 for three hours is crazy. Spent 3 days kayak fishing with CPT Jon Jon in the beautiful waters off Maui. I had previously done a 1 day trip 3 years ago but lucked out but my friend whom came on the trip caught a Mahi Mahi (of course I was jealous). So I have been dying to hit the beautiful waters for years with CPT Jon Jon for another shot and booked 3 days this time to ensure I was going to catch something...... Lucky for me and far exceeding my expectations I caught fish all 3 days. Day 1 GT and Surgeon, Day two 19lbs Ono and Day 3 we killed it with one 45lbs Ahi Tuna, 3 Mahi Mahi ranging from 17lbs-23lbs.. Brotha Jon Jon is an awesome CPT that knows these waters very well and extremely down to earth. We had a blast and I have not laughed and smiled like that in many years... I am already looking into heading back from Northern California to do some more fishing. His wife Amanda is awesome as well. She guides and explains everything in detail so you know your being taken care of... If you are thinking about doing this trip you absolutely must... I wanted to take my wife and her 40 yr. old nephew for an exciting guided fishing experience. So, when I was quoted $350/person ($1,050) for 5 hours (my wife can't handle more than that). I questioned the price but agreed because I thought this would be special. I've hired guides in Montana, CA, OR, AL, Mexico and Costa Rica and never paid more than $475. Jon Jon said that he would get back to me the day before the trip to tell me when and where, based on the conditions that would give us the best chance for great fishing. OK. He chose Kihei, his home town (might be a coincidence) at 6:15AM. This was the outgoing tide but he's the local expert and must know. Jon Jon showed up with one kayak and all his gear. I thought he had told me that we would be moving around from place to place in kayaks to find the best fishing and that might have justified the exorbitant price. But perhaps I misunderstood. Instead he was just going to ferry us, one by one, to a reef just off shore. While he was getting the kayak ready, he had Laura and Shane fishing w/ spinning gear, where we were launching and had me casting a 10wt. fly rod on the park lawn to make sure my fly casting skills were adequate. He then had me flyfishing with one of my poppers while he ferried Shane, then Laura to the reef. Hell, he had me rigged up with a sinking line to fish a popper; that doesn't work. After 2 hrs. of fishing the reef with Jon Jon catching the only fish (a tiny jack), I asked him to go help Laura and fish next to her so he could give her the rod if he hooks up again. Half an hour later, he hooks up with a decent fish and he calls her over to play it. But he's 50 yards away from her and by the time she wades within 15 yds. the fish gets off. I think Jon Jon likes fishing better than guiding but knows how to make big money kind of doing both. Now I've been flycasting an 8wt. for about 3 hours, frustrated because I'm not catching fish and the rig that Jon Jon gave me, was not so great, especially the frayed flyline which makes it difficult, at best, to shoot the line. So, Jon Jon starts fishing, far from anyone so even if he hooks up, he's not going to be able to pass the rod to anyone. I go over to Laura and she's going to give it another try. However, she trips on the reef, falls and gets a nasty scrape on her leg. This is why Jon Jon gets 2 stars. He calls his wife and has her drive to the launch area to treat Laura's wound. Laura says that Amanda was very nice and helpful; much appreciated. It's time to go, but Jon Jon wants to keep us out there till we catch fish. See the tide is now starting to come in and the fishing is suppose to get good. WHAT? Why the hell did you have us out here this morning. Laura's back on shore with a nasty scrape, I'm not going to stay out here and fish. Another guy shows up in a Hobie Cat. Turns out he's Jon Jon's fishing buddy. Did Jon Jon arrange to fish the best part of the tide with his buddy and in the process screw his clients who paid $1050. Sure looks like it. Oh yeah, while trolling back to shore in the kayak, we hook up with a 2 pound jack. Jon Jon gives me the rod to play it and acts excited for me. Give me a break. Conclusion, Jon Jon is a pleasant guy and seems knowledgeable, but seems like his fishing is more important that his clients'. His selfishness and greed compelled me to write this review. I had the absolute pleasure of fishing with Jon Jon the owner of Local Fishing Knowledge in Kihei, Maui. I found him online and booked a trip to catch some of the local shallow water fish with artificial lures, from a kayak no less. I am an avid fisherman and this was right up my alley. I knew after speaking with Jon Jon on the phone before our trip that he was very knowledgeable about fishing, he was passionate about fishing, and he gave me a ton of options that all sounded like a blast. He picked me up around 4:45 in the morning in front of the Hale Hui Kai where I was staying. We headed straight for the water and launched as the sun was rising. We had an amazing day catching several fish, losing a few BIG Ulua's, spotting several turtles, and just cruizing around in is super cool, super fast Hobie kayak (the kayak is driven by a foot pedal drive system with fins that hang below the hull). If you are coming to Maui for vacation or if you live here I HIGHLY recommend that you take a trip with Jon Jon or one of his guides from Local Fishing Knowledge. I visit Maui at least once per year and now know this will be one of my regular activities when I return. Next time though I think we'll go after the Ono's and Mahi...............from a kayak no less!!! read more

My son and I just went fishing with Capt. Jonjon on Sunday. We fish often on Maui, have our own kayak and fishing equipment, and sometimes free dive for lobsters. Last summer we caught a couple large Uku's and had fish fry with our neighbors. This summer we decided to increase our odds, learn something and hire Jonjon. He's a supper nice is a nice guy, and knows a lot about catching fish on Maui. He has great equipment and taught us much. We had a ton of fun and caught a 15lb Mahi Mahi. But if you want to keep the fish you catch this isn't the guide for you. He keeps the fish and give you only enough for one nights meal. We were supper disappointed after learning about this policy when we went to pick up our fish. No where on the website, contract or verbally do they tell you they keep the fish. If you're a tourist staying in a hotel this probably works, but we have a house here and like to share our catch with our friends and neighbors. Had quite the day on Thursday. I was able to go fishing with Captain JonJon of the Hobie kayak fishing team while on Maui. He showed me quite the time. We targeted Bonefish in the reefs of Kehi. We were successful and let me tell you those fish are no joke. I wish I had a glove on when I hooked up on my first one I have a pretty good burn on my index finger from the explosive run that these fish make. My best description would be to hook into a dragster already going at top speed and that is only the beginning of it. Almost peeled of all of the 250 yards of line on three runs before netting the fish. Never had anything like that before. Also caught a lady fish which is the Hawaiian tarpon and bluefin Trevally. Awesome day!!! Captain JonJon of local Fishing Knowledge is the only Fly Fishing guide on the island of Maui and he defiantly knows his stuff. I highly recommend him! Not only a great day of fishing but also made a new friend. Book early! He is so accommodating he actually took me out on his day off, so wort it. Jonjon offers THE BEST tour available to the outdoor adventurer/fisherman. Not only did he turn out to be a super guy, but his knowledge of these waters is truly impressive. I booked a four hour tour from 6am until 10am. I was picked up at 5:30am from a convenient location close to the condo I had rented for our stay in Maui. On the drive over to the public, but seemingly secret boat launch, Jonjon and I talked a bit about what kind of fish we would be targeting and what to expect on the trip. I helped unload the kayak and after a short but thorough safety briefing we were on the water. I was impressed by the knowledge that Jonjon had of the many reefs and fish and the Hobie kayak with peddle paddles. Paddling with our pedals we made our way out to "the spot", myself in the front seat and the Captain in the rear, it was really organic riding the swells, a feeling of oneness with the ocean. Our conversation was the only sound other than the lapping of waves at the amazingly stable kayak. The full moon provided us light before the sun peaked out and the pinks and purples faded to blue. We used Jonjon's homemade "toilet paper rig" to catch our live bait and by 8 am we had enough fish to start trolling. We trolled around looking to attract mahimahi and Ono. The rods and reels were all top of the line Penn equipment. While I was holding my rod and trolling a Mahimahi hit. I learned from our earlier conversation and coaching that when a tuna hits you have to let it swallow the fish before you set the hook. Well, in theory that was great. Reality was that I got excited and yanked up on the rod only to pull the fish away and scare off the tuna. I reeled up and the half fish left on the line told the tale of my mistake. It was now around noon and we headed back in for the day. Yes I said noon. We stayed out longer as the conversation was good and the fish weren't biting much. Probably due to the full moon. The fish tend to head out into the deep water during the few days before and after, but the trip was still awesome. Trip two a few days later because one day wasn't enough for me. Same thing in the morning. We trolled for tuna in the early morning after catching our live bait on the toilet paper rigs. That kills me. Anyways. No luck on the tuna so we headed in a bit and tried for Ono. We got a few nibbles, but nothing substantial, then BAM! ziiiiiiiinnnnnnngggggg We had what seemed to be a huge fish on. Definitely an Ono from the speed it hit our bait with. It ripped out a couple hundred yard of line then bit right through the 100 pound test and was gone just like that. Jonjon reeled up the line and both of us were amazed that a fish managed to bite right through this line. At that. It was now approaching 11 am and we had to head back in. Both days were awesome days on the water and I truly recommend going out with local fishing knowledge. Either Jonjon or one of his trained guides. Even though I didn't land a fish I would do this again in a heartbeat. After all it's called fishing, not catching. On a side note, I also rented a rod (12'6" Penn and SS Penn reel was making me want to pick up one of these bad boys for salmon fishing back home) and some tackle to whip a few off the shore line outside the condo. It wasn't a great swimming beach and I had seen some fishermen out there, so I wanted to give it a shot. I caught and released a few small fish and passed a few hours on the shore spending some quality time with the ocean waves, sand and sun. If you do any shore fishing be prepared. EVERYBODY wants to stop and chat about what you're catching. read more

Breaking down my review in 2 parts. I grew up fishing the gulf of mexico and have fished with charters and guides in a number of places around the US. The Fishing: We did a coastal trip. Everything you would want in a guide. High energy, truly passionate about fishing and ensuring you a positive experience. I took my 8yr old (who is tired of dad's trips without catching much) and he provided a lot of education about the island, the reef and intricacies of fishing the area. Within our first 2 hours we caught about 8 fish, and all 8 were a different species. JonJon then put us on a reef so I could try my luck fly fishing for a bonefish. He got me setup and then took care of my son and kept him interested in what he was doing and showing him things around the reef. He was also fly casting trying to hook up for one of us as well. After a little while we wanted to get back to the action so we went for another couple hours where we got into another batch of new fish, bonefish, ladyfish and other types of trevali. The action was pretty much constant while fishing. We then stopped again on another reef to try the fly rod again, I wasn't doing too well once the wind picked up a bit more but I could tell he was trying REALLY hard to get something hooked so he could hand me the rod. He didn't stop or rest for a moment in our 6 hour trip. We headed back towards our launch and hooked up a couple more times, and at the very end of our trip, a group began a ceremony near us of spreading the ashes of a deceased, just as they began we hooked up with the largest trevali of the day, which we decided we would keep. When we got ashore and JonJon found the man who was spreading his wife's ashes, he asked my son and I if we minded giving him our fish, which we agreed to. It seemed fitting that just as they began the ceremony we hooked up. the man was very taken back and overwhelmed by the gesture. In the end we caught over 15 fish, had the trevali grand slam and caught about 12 difference species, including some very interesting ones. If you want this type of experience, the decision is easy. Other: Before booking I had come across a couple negative reviews that had me concerned. I spoke to JonJon's wife on the phone several times and when she read them she was devastated. She personally remembered the groups and the situations. What I was most pleased about was that she called me back and rather than try to downplay their reviews, she said they were reading those and wanted to make sure they learned something from them. In each of the cases it seemed like basic lack of communication between the group about expectations was the culprit, and in reading through them you can see some of them are those people who you just can't please. Lastly, JonJon called me on the way to the launch site and was picking up breakfast and brought my son and I something additional to eat, and the next day we ran into him in a park with his kids and his 8yr old and mine tore up the beach together for several hours like they had known each other all their lives. Conclusion of all of this is that these are really genuine and good people and best of all, JonJon knows his fishing. We all know there are no guarantees in fishing but I'd put my money on him above any others I've been with and that's saying something. read more

Great day of flyfishing in Maui. When I travel I tend to find a spot where I can sneak a day on water flyfishing. When searching Internet for options in Maui JonJon is the guy and based on mixed reviews on Yelp I was quite frankly nervous but I booked anyway and glad I did. I have fished Montana, Florida Keys, and Everglades with fly guides in last three years. Each place has its own customs and style and Maui is no different. If you are expecting a traditional fly guided trip this is not for you. If you are open to a new experience and some ridiculous bone fishing then sign on. We waded several reefs some sight casting and some blind casting. Equipment Jon Jon provided is very good quality; he also helps with technique as you will likely be throwing in a stiff wind so if you cannot double haul you may be in trouble. Jon Jon fishes too and if he hooks up he hands you rod and these fish are tanks so I had no issue not hooking all my fish myself; again different place, different protocol. I am giving one star because his Amanda was very pleasant to deal with on the phone. I had the absolute worst experience a person can have fishing with Capt. Jon Jon. Showing up an hour late for our first of a two day guided trip did not portend well for the rest of the day. Jon Jon blamed me for the mix up of times. I guess he believes the customer is always wrong. Jon Jon is obsessed with fishing but not guiding. If you want a guide to help you with the tackle, flies, tying knots, reading the water, spotting the fish, don't hire hire Jon Jon. He is too busy 100-200 yards away from you trying to catch his personal best bonefish or GT(giant trevally) to care about your needs. If I had not already prepaid for two days of fishing, I would have left after the first hour. Jon Jon did not provide me with a fly rod set up for a right hand retrieve since I am left handed. He said he no longer had one. Fortunately I brought my own saltwater rod and reel. He spent a couple of minutes demonstrating the double haul casting technique and then walked away left me to my own devices. When I asked him for help he just mumbled something and kept preparing his rod and kayak for the trip. Before we launched, he asked me if I had brought my own flies, which I replied no. He begrudgingly gave me one shrimp pattern which I used for the whole day. We never changed patterns. We ended the day an hour short. I paid for an extra hour of fishing but I was not going to catch any fish by blind casting to the reefs all day so I did not complain. I told Jon Jon I wanted to fish in deeper water the next day not fly fish the flats and he agreed. The next morning arrive and Jon Jon is early and we drive to the kayak launch site and he proceeds to take the next hour rigging up the poles and kayaks for our trip. This was done on my time of course. I was under the impression when I booked the trip that we be in a two-person kayak with Jon Jon guiding.He decided that we were going to fish in separate yaks. What a surprise. He did provide a portable VHF radio, but the pfd was old and smelly. Well, Jon Jon took off like a bat out of hell and once again I was left to fend for my self. The Hobie kayak has adjustable peddles and I asked Jon Jon to adjust them for my height which he didn't. Peddling a kayak when your knees are almost hitting your face and your thighs are cramping does not lend itself to quality fishing. When I caught up to Jon Jon, I told him my peddles needed adjusting, he started yelling at me, " I already showed you how to do this". I said you you showed me but you did not teach me just like you showed me the double haul but you did not teach me. He took off fishing and I tried to mimic what he was doing but the line on the reel was old kept coming off tangled so I had to keep retying the jig. Jon Jon Says his tackle is very good but if you don't change your line routinely, you will be subject to breaks and tangles. After a few hours of unsuccessful jigging, I followed to the flats where had anchored the yak. When I approached him, he started yelling at me"you just went through a school of fish" and put up his hands in exasperation. I was fed up by then and told him I wanted to go back to the launch site but he ignored me. If I knew where it was I would have left but I was at his mercy and we were not going to until he caught his bonefish. He finally hooked one and then lost it so we started to leave. Jon Jon discovered while getting into his kayak that he had lost a $500 rod and reel. He got so pissed. He spent the next hour trying to find it, while I followed at a distance. We got back to the launch area 2 1/2 hours past when I wanted to get home. He drove to my car, I paid him a $100 tip and left. All in all I enjoyed the Hobie kayak, it was peddling it around and watching the turtles. I did improve my double haul casting, no thanks to Capt. Jon Jon. Next time I will fly over to Molokai and fish with Capt. Clay at Hallelujah Hou Fishing. A true professional by everything I've read and heard. read more

This was my first time fishing salt with a fly rod and Jon Jon helped me with my casting, explained why the fish are where they are and how to present the fly properly. My friend and I went out with Capt. Jon Jon for a 6 hour trip and had a blast. We used two tandem Hobie kayaks set up in parallel, so Jon Jon was always there to help with line tangles and to keep us entertained with his knowledge of the Maui and Hawaiian waters. About half the time we waded in shallow waters and fished a reef accessible only by kayak. Jon Jon knows the reef inside out and after losing a few fish I was able to land a good size Kagami that looked (and later) tasted fantastic. I highly recommend this trip to those familiar with kayak fishing, who want to avoid the fumes and long boat rides associated with deep sea fishing. read more

At it'd change we headed I closer to some reefs we could wade. First was still too deep tough to fish. Then wen to a second reef/flats. Easier, but no fish. Headed back to shore while trolling. I signed up fora kayak fishing adventure wanting as much to learn about the sport as to catch fish....but I definitely expected to catch fish!! Captain Jon Jon is a cool guy andhewent away from his normal procedure with our fishing expedition at my request.Whether this impacted the outcome I dont know, possibly but probably not. And here is the reason why. We launched at around 630am and the first line went in the water around 930am, that bait was quickly eaten and the next line went in around 11am. Why? Well, apparently you have to catch bait as part of the paid fishing trip, and for us this just happened to take essentially the whole trip. I get it, the live bait is what the fish love to eat, but when paying $$ to fish, I kinda expect to do some fishing.To say I was underwhelmed would be a major understatement, but would I do it again.....probably. by the way, aside to what you are told, take your own food and beverage. I failed to eat breakfast and was told not to bring food....big mistake, by noon I was famished and dehydrated. I have been fortunate enough to fish with Jon Jon a few times. Each trip has been dynamite. I have caught six different species of fish. Jon Jon's skill and technique are outstanding and much appreciated by an avid fisherman like myself. His equipment and ability to put you on fish is superb and I have a hard time getting to sleep the night before fishing - dreaming what the day will be like. The area where Jon Jon fishes is breathtaking and always full of ocean creatures that exceed expectations. His knowledge of the area is unsurpassed and he is willing to share many tricks that most captains keep to themselves. I have been fortunate enough to fish in the northeast - off Cape Cod and Montauk, the Caribbean, the Florida Keys, Mexico, and almost every island in Hawaii. I charter at least 10-15 trips per year. Jon Jon is truly a Hawaiian fishing treasure. This guy will do his utmost to get you on the fish, and will do it his own way and with his true personality. No catering to your ego or pocketbook for a tip here. He is about providing an ocean education, and all good education costs. He loves to fish and to see you catch fish under his guidance. I have some fly fishing experience, but I am a novice and not a great caster (maybe 30-40 feet max, but better after this trip). Jon Jon took this into account after I was honest with him about my abilities and assured me that he has taken out clients that could only cast 25 feet that still caught fish. Remember, the point of hiring a guide is to gain more experience, and that does not come easy regardless of cost. Jon Jon is genuinely concerned about you getting better at fishing, if you are so inclined as to want to learn. He is holistic in his approach about this as well, it is not all about casting distance and which fly to use. It is also about walking quietly, paying attention to the water depth, timing, tide and where the coral is related to the sand. He is honest when he says that he won't tell you a lot of information if you don't ask, so you have to engage to get the most out of your experience. All of this culminated in catching my first O'io (Bonefish) the correct way. Jon Jon delivered. I could not have been more excited or pleased with my 6-hour trip on the water with him. I also want to point out that his wife Amanda was instrumental in making this happen for me on just one-days notice. I was not expecting to even get a return phone call to this request (as I knew how ridiculous it was), but she moved and adjusted schedules around so that I could get a crack at catching those sliver rockets. I have read the other reviews here, and think that those are the type of people that would not do well with LFK no matter the circumstances. The fact is that the ocean is a difficult place to fish. There is no guarantee that you are going to go out and 'slay them' even if you spent three times as much on another guide. Jon Jon does like to fish, of course, but is that his only motivation? No. Is that the reason YOU will catch fish? Yes. Proof you say? I caught 3 O'io (my largest being a 30+" that made me see 200 yards of backing repeatedly!) And Jon Jon? Fished with me all day, caught zip. His priority on the water is you, and the ocean does not care how much you spent, it cares about how much attention you pay to those that know it. read more

OK ... I've decided that I will never go out on a conventional charter fishing boat again after my day on the water with Local Fishing Knowledge. Kayak fishing is way more fun and exciting and Local Fishing Knowledge is the place for the best experience you can imagine in this sport. This company is professional all the way .... the best kayaks, the best fishing tackle, sensible safety gear, and loads of know-how and experience in catching big fish from a kayak. I learned that catching the big fish is all about the live bait and the Local Fishing Knowledge kayak captain is very good at putting live bait in the boat. Using his hand-tied flies and light gear, we caught our live bait in about 15 minutes and were off fishing for the big ones while I watched other small boats and kayaks spend hours trying to catch their bait fish. Local Fishing Knowledge has an amazing passion for fishing and that passion is a big part of what makes his trips so special. The Local Fishing knowledge owner is a great fisherman and an excellent conversationalist, which is important when you are spending 6 hours in a two-person kayak! I brought home a couple of mahi mahi and a lot of near-misses on other big fish that had my heart pounding. We'll get them next time I come back to Maui for more kayak fishing. read more
