I'm puzzled that Yelp lists this business as "closed." I've just had my first experience with them,…read morecontacting through their website (which is labeled in some places as "under construction"), and they seem very much an active, going concern. I'm a lifelong avid gardener and DIY-er but am no longer physically able to do what was routine just a few years ago. I can be a bit of a perfectionist, and am not well-off, getting by on Social Security, so I was skeptical that I could afford professional yard services AND be happy with the results. But I needed to give someone a try, and hired Fresh Cuts based on their website and a very friendly home visit for an inspection and estimate. Aside from some minor difficulty scheduling that visit, I was pleased with their response and authorized their first-time major cleanup, though my yard/garden is quite small and only slightly overgrown. They committed on Sunday to working the project by the end of the week, and came that Tuesday. They were quick, efficient, almost scrupulously detailed, and I resisted the urge to watch over the work closely. They were in and out before I got a chance to check the results, leaving an invoice for the very reasonable pre-agreed charges in my mailbox. I walked the area and checked very closely, and everything--weeding flower beds, lawn mowing and edging, clearing weeds from the external sidewalk and perimeter fencing--was done extremely well, and there was absolutely no plant damage as I had feared. No cause for nit-picking! My yard looks manicured and showcase ready. I was extremely pleased with their service and will hire them again as I am able to afford it. (They offer a regularly scheduled monthly service, but my budget doesn't allow that right now.) Friendly, reasonable, professional. A great experience all around.
