Both my husband and I work full time and needed to find someone to keep mom company and get her familiar with her PT/OT exercises, help with bathing and cooking. It took a couple different care givers until we found the right match but Pete personally introduced each one to my mom. They provided care to her for over 6 months until her husband could move here- they were a real blessing to our family. Sure we had a couple no shows and a few problems here and there but Pete was on it and dealt with everything professionally- Connie too (in the office) is wonderful. I think the key is great communication and being reasonable- and you have to ask for what you need! Pete was available evenings and weekends always to take a call- Where do you find that kind of service today? We also use Pete professionally through my job and he is a great vendor to work with and he and his staff go out of their way to be accommodating. Our mother moved to Northgate Senior Care in December 2023, and my brothers and I believe this was…read morethe best decision we've ever made. For a couple of years prior, she had been in other assisted living facilities more like apartment living, where she was isolated and alone, never knowing who would deliver meals or tend to her needs. At Northgate Senior Care, the staff lives onsite, and they are wonderful. In the 8 months she's been there, we've seen her kind of come out of her shell. She eats with others in the home, attends activities like music therapy sing-alongs, and is very happy with the caregivers. They take such amazing care of all the residents. The facility is very welcoming, always super clean, and it always smells like home-cooking! The caregivers are attentive, ready, and willing to do whatever is needed, and they do it with a happy attitude and smiles on their faces. We appreciate them so much for taking such great care of our mom. We feel very fortunate to have found this beautiful home for our mom to live out her life.
