They did a wonderful job of meeting all of her needs while I was gone, and also had consistent communication so that I know she was doing well.. When I returned, I have used their services one day a week while taking care of errands and appointments. I have also used them for an occasional night out, and for 3-4 day respite periods. I never worry when they are on the job. The care giver that comes to my home is so reliable, capable and responsible. She takes care of changing the bed, fixing meals, laundry, house cleaning, even walking the dog. If there is ever a problem, that worker has the rest of the Angels of America team she can call upon. Not only do they do a wonderful job taking care of me, my mother, and Charlie the dog, they also are like extended family. They were part of the celebration of my mother's 102nd birthday, they were ready to help when my brother died, and every member of the team takes an interest in how my mother is doing. So different from the previous big agency that I used whose main (and only?) interest was the bottom line. I am so glad that I found Angels of America Home Care. They are the right support that I need in this job of caring for my mother.

For a couple of years prior, she had been in other assisted living facilities more like apartment living, where she was isolated and alone, never knowing who would deliver meals or tend to her needs. At Northgate Senior Care, the staff lives onsite, and they are wonderful. In the 8 months she's been there, we've seen her kind of come out of her shell. She eats with others in the home, attends activities like music therapy sing-alongs, and is very happy with the caregivers. They take such amazing care of all the residents. The facility is very welcoming, always super clean, and it always smells like home-cooking! The caregivers are attentive, ready, and willing to do whatever is needed, and they do it with a happy attitude and smiles on their faces. We appreciate them so much for taking such great care of our mom. We feel very fortunate to have found this beautiful home for our mom to live out her life. We rest assured knowing that she gets the care and attention she needs every day. THANK YOU to all of you at Northgate Senior Care!

Elena and her staff have taken excellent care of her from day one. It is clear that Elena and the staff care a great deal about the residents they care for and do an excellent job. What appealed to me from the fist step I took in the home is how clean, orderly, spacious and pleasant it is. I knew that my mom would like it. She is looking much healthier and happier since she has been there. I come by for quick visits and have also brought my brother and sister and their families for visits and each time we feel welcome. A Nurse Practitioner visits monthly and he and Elena are open to discussing my mom's health needs and taking a team approach to dealing with them. Elena makes excellent suggestions - and follows up on them. They also have a hair stylist visit and provide nail care. All of this means a great deal to me. My prayers were answered when I found this amazing place for my mom to live and be cared for.

Elena is amazing, genuinely caring and engaged in providing respectful and effective home care to our elders. She has hired incredible staff. Every time I visit they are moving around either spending time with the residents, providing care or cleaning. The care providers seem happy which means to me that they are being treated well and supported. My mom and dad get a better ratio of care providers compared to a skilled nursing facility and it is more cost effective and feels like they are home. I researched adult family homes and the five star ratings here are justified. Elena's communication is fabulous. She had a team of great care providers. She and her team treat my parents with the respect they deserve having survived 80 years of age and 57 years of marriage. Elena is very open to individual needs and preferences. My mom gets a personal bed bath every day and has not looked better in the past few years. My sister and I are so relieved and grateful. We are always welcomed into the house and Elena has been responsive to all communications. A++++++++.

She had moderate to severe dementia, and the wonderful staff and owners made sure that my mom's physical, emotional, and social needs were always met. Furthermore, they were very caring and supportive, and worked hard to make sure that every day my mom felt cared for and loved. I really admired how Family to Family provided engaging activities for my mom to partake in - from playing Bingo, providing a music specialist, a movement class, to creating fun and stimulating art projects. The staff's engagement and high level of care for my mother put my mind at ease, knowing that she was receiving high quality care and support 24/7. Husky, a smaller and caring agency, recently came into a very challenging situation with a frail very elderly couple, and despite their resistance to accepting outside care, Husky has completely won them over. Unlike some other care agencies that i've worked with,Husky not only comes in and provides a free consult with a care manager, they CONTINUE to have the managers monitor and communicate with the family and the healthcare team. Care managers Jennifer and Kris have been stellar in this way, and have found the most amazing caregiver, Michael, who visits them 2x weekly, each for 4 hours. They do it all, from driving the couple to errands and MD appts, to an outing at the lake, to meal prep, to light housekeeping, to personal care for our hospice patient. They are not the cheapest agency out there, but there is a real reason for this: quality caregivers, and a hands-on collaborative approach, My agency has no affiliation or relationship with Husky or any other agency, but i did feel it would be helpful for those who are seeking good safe care to give it a go. :)
