They even performed a complimentary interior vacuum and quick wipe down. The girl was super clean and feeling so well loved. I got a new vehicle and immediately contacted Danny to get some work done on it. I wanted to get a full front PPF as well as ceramic coating he quoted me at 2 days for an unbeatable price with interior ceramic coating free of charge for a promotion. Dropped the vehicle off at 9 AM February 25th and was told I would receive updates consistently well that same day the shop was about to close and I didn't receive a single call or text so I sent a message over and got a response saying it was going great and I asked for a picture and Danny said he already left, that was the first red flag. So the morning of pick up on the 28th I get a text saying there was an issue with the PPF install and that the car would need another day to get the work completed. He handed over responsibility of the work on my car to another associate by the name of Ty and well the 1st came and it still wasn't ready. I went to go pick up my car on March 2nd because I was tired of not having my new vehicle that I just purchased and didn't trust the reliability of the shop anymore. This new associate after speaking to me said he would do a full body PPF free of charge for all of the trouble I went through with a brand new film company that he was awaiting a new roll of PPF. I told him my deadline was April 3rd to get the PPF installation completed because I had a trip planned that I wanted the protection to be on my car. Well March 16th I was in contact with Ty and after that he completely ghosted me, hasn't answered any of my calls or texts anymore. I decided to call Danny on April 3rd because I was curious if he knew why he wasn't answering my calls. He had no idea that Ty was still working on my vehicle, he was under the impression that the work was already completed. I found out that Ty is no longer with the company and Danny promised to make it right, I gave him my deadline of Monday April 6th and he canceled that morning and then I told him Thursday April 9th is the final deadline. Danny hasn't responded to my messages since April 8th. I'm very disappointed my vehicle has no PPF, no interior ceramic coating, and the exterior ceramic coat isn't even on the whole vehicle. I'm at a loss of words.

Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Overall, I think the company itself does good work, and have used the Kearny Mesa location in the past several times with excellent success!! I would not choose this location again.

There are too many other choices in San Diego County and this one needs to be avoided. It all starts with first impressions as a new customer. Even though the online booking time was convenient, the manager, Alex, clearly does not care about your business. There is a "comments" box in the online booking process that was completely ignored with my question. The detailer was late to my appointment. Time means money and they don't care about wasting your time. The work vehicle was trashed when it showed up. Dents all over the place, door molding hanging outside the door. Invest some money and take all those dents out. It gives a bad look like they don't care. Before the work was started I was verbally told it would be an extra $45 for all of the work with some stubborn stains. Okay I understood, the car's interior was quite dirty. After working four hours on the car, the stains are still there. None of the ones on the seats and the carpet floor were removed. He tried was his answer and then asked me how long have I had the car. How is that relevant for the work performed? It is none of their business. Training is an issue obviously. On their website they claim "superior customer experience." Not so much. "Real time updates" during the four hours did not happen once. "Follow up care with maintenance recommendations" was non existent. The recommendations given was to keep the windows down because it still was wet inside. They couldn't dry the vehicle first? Yeah keep the windows down so all the dust flies in - so smart of them. At the end of the appointment I requested an invoice for their work. No was their answer but if you pay by credit card and pay the 4%+ surcharge, we can do it for you. What? That makes no sense. Their other payment options are cash, Venmo or Zelle. For a company that is detailer certified I am disappointed. Yes they are certified - certified waste of time. Take your business elsewhere.

Enter Dr. Detail, and wow, what a difference. Booking was super easy, and they showed up exactly on time, literally 7:30 AM on the dot, just like they said. I even got updates so I knew exactly when to expect them. Even though I originally just needed the stucco removed, they went above and beyond and gave my whole car the full treatment, inside, outside, even under the hood. My engine was so clean you could eat off of it (not that I recommend it, but you could). My car's parked outside 24/7 and has some wear from sun and weather, but somehow Dr. Detail still managed to make it shine like new. I was seriously impressed. He was also super friendly, figured out a smart way to park on the street since we don't have a driveway, and was really considerate with the neighbors, he even made sure not to block trash cans. That level of care and attention really stood out. Overall, just a great experience, efficient, thoughtful, and really high quality work. Highly recommend!

My bf arranged a full detail for my car. Awesome Mobile came to my office and did the entire detail while I worked. They shampooed my cloth covered seats and scrubbed the weather-proof mats. They got every nook and cranny including the embedded dog fluff in the carpeted panels and in the corners of the windshield and rear windows. They buffed out small scratches all over my car and clayed the exterior as well. My mouth legitimately fell open when I saw my car...it looked brand new when they were done! I cannot wait to be able to afford their service again because my car could use a great service. They are pricey but it is so worth the money!
